IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Analysis: 27th November 2016 (Slot 1/ Shift 1)

The IBPS Clerk Prelims 2016 examination is on a rage! The first day of the examination i.e. 26th of November was a significant one because of the number of aspirants taking the test. It is the second day today and the overwhelming response is still on. We bring you the complete analysis of the 1st    Slot of IBPS Clerk Prelims 2016 held on 27th of November 2016.

IBPS Clerk Prelims exam will be held in four shifts on each day . The 1st slot/shift  will begin in the morning at 8: 00 AM. The 2nd slot/shift of IBPS Clerk exam will start at 10:30 AM. There will be one afternoon shift at 1:00 PM. The final shift i. e 4th slot/shift will be conducted in the evening at 3:30 PM. Candidates are advised to reach the venue before time. 

The Slot timings are as follows:

Slot 1- 8:00 AM (Morning Shift)

Slot 2 -10:30 AM(Morning Shift)

Slot 3 -1:00 PM(Afternoon Shift)

Slot 4- 3:30 PM(Evening Shift)

IBPS Clerk 2016 : Exam Day Guidelines & Tips for Prelims and Mains

The IBPS Clerk exam is on the way to hit the exam centres! Students are all engaged in hard- core preparation in a determined mode. The IBPS Clerk examination will be conducted in different phases i.e. a Prelims exam followed by a Mains examination. The IBPS Clerk Prelims is scheduled to be held on 26, 27th November 2016 and 3rd, 4th December 2016. The IBPS Clerk Mains examination will be conducted on 31st December 2016 and 1st January 2017.

The candidates who will be able to qualify in the IBPS Clerk Prelims examination will only be eligible to sit for the IBPS Clerk Mains 2016. The allotment will most probably be done in the month of April 2017.   • Here are some of the exam guidelines for IBPS Clerk Prelims and Mains 2016- 17:
  • Both the IBPS Clerk Prelims and Mains examination will be held in online mode.
  • Please make sure you carry the admit card/ hall ticket to the exam hall on the day of exam. No candidate will be entertained who is inside the exam hall without an admit card/ a hall ticket.
  • Please make sure that you make a note of your essentials like your Roll Number, Exam Date, Venue and Timings for the examination as given in the IBPS Clerk Admit card/ IBPS Clerk Hall ticket.
  • Start the test when the invigilator instructs you to start. You can see a login window appearing in front of you. You will have to enter your Roll Number and Password in the login window to start with the test.
  • Please try to reach the examination centre before the given time. The candidates arriving late will not be allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Please write your ‘Roll Number’ and ‘Registration Number’ on the photocopy of your photo identity proof.
  • Please carry a valid photo identity proof of yours in original and a photocopy to the exam.
  • Items such as Goggles, Handbag, Hair-pins, hair clips and bands, Belts, Caps, Wrist Watches, Cameras, Jewellery, Eatables, and Bottles etc. are not allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Avoid carrying papers (with text written on it or printed on it), Geometry Box, Calculator, Rough papers or Note Pads, USB drives, Cell Phone, Earphones/ Headphones/ Microphones etc. to the venue. If the invigilators get hold of them, they won’t be returned back to the candidate.
  • Candidates accused of any sorts of malpractice inside the exam hall will be disqualified in the examination.
  • Biometric data will be recorded at the examination venue In the Mains Examination.
  • Please do carry a ball pen along with you to the examination hall.
  • The candidates will be provided with the rough sheet by the invigilator. They will have to hand over the rough sheet after the exam is over.
  • Candidates found misbehaving in the examination hall will be disqualified from giving the exam.
  • Please do remember to paste your recent passport size photograph. Documents like Passport/PAN Card/ Driving License/Voter’s Card/Bank passbook will only be accepted as photo-identity proof. Ration Cards will not be accepted under any circumstances.
