SBI SO Recruitment Notification 2020
SBI SO is a national-level exam conducted by State Bank of India for the recruitment of probationary officers in various branches of the bank across India. State Bank of India invites Online applications from Indian citizens for appointment to the post of Deputy Manager (Law) and others. The SBI SO Recruitment Notification 2020 was released on 23rd January 2020. The recruitment process began the day of release of official notification and it is being conducted for the selection of candidates for the post of SO in State Bank of India and its Associate branches for the various posts of Specialists Cadre Officers.
SBI SO Recruitment 2020
The candidates selected are liable to be posted anywhere in India. Eligible and interested candidates must register online for the recruitment process. The selection process consists of Online Exam and Interview Process which will be conducted online, followed by a Personal Interview.
A total of 76 Vacancies are there to recruit for the various posts in SBI as Specialists Cadre Officers. Candidates must pass each exam to get shortlisted and progress to the next stage. The final selection will be based on merit. There is no separate notification for each stage in SBI PS 2020

Registration for SBI SO
- Go to the SBI Official Website,
- Click on the link “Career with us” on the home page.
- Select the post for which you want to apply. The link is given below to direct fill the SBI SO Application Form 2020.
- Fill the application form with complete details.
Upload Images
- Upload scanned image of passport size photo(size-20 to 50 Kb) and signature (10 to 20 Kb) in JPEG format.
- The photo must be of 200 × 300 pixels while the signature must be of 140 × 60 pixels.
- Choose the correct file and click on open to upload.
- After that, click ‘Submit’ to move to a fee payment window.
Pay Application Fee - SBI SO 2020
- The application fee for the General, EWS, and OBC candidates is INR 750 and" NIL" for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen candidates.
- Pay the fee online and submit.
- Take a printout of the application form before submission for future reference.
- You will receive a registration ID.
SBI SO Admit Card 2020
SBI issues separate for each post and stage of the exam.

SBI Online Test 2020
The first stage of SBI SO 2020 will be conducted on 8th March 2020 tentatively. Applicants who will clear the Online Test will be eligible to appear for the Interview Process of the exam. The SBI SO Written Exam has 3 sections- English Language, Professional Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude. And 4 sections for the post of Deputy Manager (Law).
SBI SO Group Discussion and Interview (GDPI)
Candidates who qualify the mains exam are eligible to appear for group discussion and interview.
- Post conduction of the interview, a combined score is generated which includes the sum of marks obtained in the main examination and interview.
- The final list of the selected candidates is made upon the performance in mains and GD/ PI round only.

SBI SO Selection Process
There are 2 stages in the exam- Online Test and Interview Process. The candidates who cleared the Written Exam are invited for the Personal Interview. The selection will be taken by the authority of the State Bank of India on the basis of their qualification and the performance given in the online test.
While going for the Personal Interview candidates have to take some documents-

SBI SO Exam Pattern 2020
The exam for the post of SCO in the different departments will be conducted every year through the State Bank of India. The exam will be conducted in Online mode only. Candidates have to mark one answer from the 4 or 5 options as the questions are there in the form of Multiple Choice Questions. There are 3 sections for the Clerical Cadre and the Senior Executive/ Special Executive, 4 sections for the post of Deputy Manager.
- Clerical Cadre and the Senior Executive/ Special Executive: Reasoning Ability, English language, Professional Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude.
- A total of 170 questions will be there in the form of MCQ.
- 50 questions will be asked from the section Reasoning Ability and Professional Knowledge each.
- 35 questions will be asked from the section the English Language and Quantitative Aptitude each.
- Candidates will get the time limit of 135 Minutes (2 Hours 15 Minutes) to solve all the questions asked in the exam.
- Deputy Manager: Reasoning Ability, English Language, and Professional Knowledge.
- A total of 170 questions will be there in the form of MCQ.
- 50 questions will be asked from the section the English Language and Professional Knowledge each.
- 70 questions will be asked from the Reasoning Ability section of the exam.
- Candidates will get the time limit of 135 Minutes (2 Hours 15 Minutes) to solve all the questions asked in the exam.

- Only those aspirants who clear the SBI SO Online Test will be called for the Personal Interview.

SBI SO Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria by SBI SO before applying for the SO post. Here are the basic eligibility conditions:
- The candidates must be Indian
- The applicants must be a graduate in any stream from a recognized university.
- The final year graduates can also apply.
- SC/ ST/ ExS/ J&K Migrants get a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
- PwD category candidates reserve a relaxation of 10-15 years depending on the category.
- A declaration will have to be submitted in the prescribed format by candidates seeking reservation under the OBC category stating that he/she does not belong to the creamy layer as on 31.03.2019. OBC certificate containing the 'Non-creamy layer' clause, issued during the period 01.04.2019 to the date of the interview, should be submitted by such candidates if called for interview.
