Important Pointers about the SBI Clerk Selection Procedure
- Both SBI Clerk examinations (preliminary and Main) are objective and online based exams.
- Age (20 to 28 years) and minimum qualifications (Graduation passed in any major) eligibility is checked for each and every applicant.
- Candidate must qualify SBI Clerk preliminary Exam to give SBI Main Exam and further this must be qualified to face the final personal interview round.
- SBI prepares a ranking list by combining score of the SBI Clerk Main Exam and score earned in the SBI Interview round.
- One needs to qualify SBI Clerk Preliminary exam to move to the next level, which is SBI Main Exam.
- There is negative marking scheme applicable on both the SBI Clerk Preliminary and Main Examinations. 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.
SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam is scheduled in the month of May* and SBI Clerk Main Examination is scheduled on 30th June, 2016.
