RBI Assistant Prelims 2016: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of RBI Assistant Prelims 2016 is based on three factors:
- Nationality
- Age Limit
- Educational Qualification
Nationality/Citizenship:
Candidates who are eligible ‘Indian Nationals’ can only apply for the post of RBI Assistant.
Age Limit: It is one of the crucial factors of ‘Eligibility Criteria’. The candidates who will apply for this post will have to satisfy the age limit prescribed by RBI Assistant 2016.
- The Age as on 7th November 2016 must be between the limit of 20 to 28 years.
- There are provisions of age relaxation based on different categories. It can be stated as follows:

Candidates domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir during the period from 1/ 1/ 1980 to 31/ 12/ 1989. |

Candidates having some work experience in RBI |
To the extent of number of years of such experience, subject to maximum of 3 years. |
