NIACL or New India Assurance Company Limited has released notifications for recruiting candidates for the post of Administrative Officers (Scale – I). The recruitment will be conducted for 300 number of vacancies. The NIACL AO (Scale I) Prelims examination was held on 17^th December 2016. In this article, we will give you complete details about the exam pattern and syllabus of NIACL AO (Scale I) exam.

The NIACL AO examination will be conducted in three phases:

• Prelims Exam

• Mains Exam

• Interview

NIACL AO 2016 Exam: Important Highlights

• Negative Marking of 1/4th mark would be applicable for every incorrect response.

• The overall as well as sectional cut- off need to be cleared by the candidate to qualify in the examination.

• The candidates who qualify the mains exam will only be eligible for evaluation of descriptive exam. The candidates have to qualify the cut- off marks of the descriptive exam. But, the marks obtained by the students in the descriptive test will not be considered for shortlisting candidates

• January 2017 is the tentative slot for the main phase of the NIACL AO exam 2016.
