NABARD has released notification for NABARD Recruitment for 92 vacancies in Grade A. NABARD invites applications from Indian citizens for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS) in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD ).

Eligibility Criteria for NABARD Recruitment 2018:

Educational Qualifications:

  1. General: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (SC/ST/PWBD applicants 45%) from a recognized University or Ph.D OR Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary with Bachelor’s degree OR Two years full time P.G. Diploma in Management / full time MBA degree from Institutions/Universities recognized by GOI / UGC with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  2. Animal Husbandry: Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences/Animal Husbandry with a minimum of 50% marks (SC applicants 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Veterinary Sciences / Animal Husbandry with a minimum of 50% marks (SC applicants 45%) in aggregate from any recognized University / Institute.
  3. Chartered Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with Membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The Membership of ICAI must have been obtained on or before 01 March 2018.
  4. Economics: Bachelor’s Degree with Economics/Agriculture Economics with 50% marks (ST applicants -45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Economics /Agriculture Economics with a minimum of 50% marks (ST applicants-45%) in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates with Economics as one of the main subjects at all years/semesters of the course, will only be eligible.
  5. Environmental Engineering: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering / Climate Change / Climate Change Adaptation with

50% marks in aggregate or Post graduate degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering / Climate Change / Climate Change Adaptation with 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized University/Institution.

  1. Food Processing/Food Technology: Bachelor’s degree in Food Processing /Food Technology with 50% marks (ST applicants 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Food Processing /Food Technology with 50% marks (ST applicants 45%) in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
  2. Forestry: Bachelor’s degree in Forestry with 50% marks (SC applicants 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Forestry with 50% marks (SC applicants 45%)in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
  3. Land Development (Soil Science) / Agriculture: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with 50% marks (SC/ST applicants – 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST applicants 45%) in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution.
  1. Minor Irrigation (Water Resources)

Bachelor’s degree in Hydrology/Applied Hydrology or Geology/Applied Geology with Hydrogeology /Irrigation /Water Supply & sanitation as one of the subjects with 50% marks (SC/ST applicants 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Hydrology/Applied Hydrology or Geology/Applied Geology with Hydrogeology /Irrigation /Water Supply & sanitation as one of the subjects with 50% marks in aggregate (SC/ST applicants 45%) from a recognized University.

  1. Social Work: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with 50% marks (SC applicants 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Social Work with 50% marks (SC applicants 45%) in aggregate from a recognized University.

Selection Process for NABARD Recruitment 2018:

A. The selection will be in three Phases as furnished below:

  1. Preliminary Exam in Online Mode
  2. Main Examination in Online Mode
  3. Interview

Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam)

Objective Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 200 marks.

Duration: 120 Minutes Composite Time

Negative Marking Scheme: For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th of the marks the marks for each question will be deducted as a penalty in Phase I and Phase II

Phase III – Interview

Candidates who clear Phase I And Phase II of the Exam will be selected for an interview. The interview will be out of 25 Marks.

Pay Scale:

Selected Applicants will be eligible for receiving emoluments of Rs. 28, 150 on a monthly basis along with allowances that are admissible for selected posts.

NABARD Admit Card: NABARD Admit card will be released a few days before the exam. NABARD Admit card will not be sent via post. It will be an e-admit card and candidates must carry a print out of the e-admit card to the examination hall. During the time of examination, candidates must also carry AADHAR card, PAN Card, Voters ID or Driving License.

NABARD Result: NABARD will be released in phases. Candidates will get the result of NABARD Tier I Exam. Candidates who get selected in NABARD Tier I exam can write the NABARD Tier II exam. NABARD Tier II results will be released in January 2019. The Recruitment process will be lengthy.
