Indian Bank (PGDBF) PO Test Series

Positions & Course structure:

The total positions opened are 324. The course involves one year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & finance (PGDBF) at Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking. This program is of 9-Months class-room course and the remaining 3 months includes internship at any of the branches of Indian Bank.

Date of Mains Exam & Selection Procedure:

The Indian Bank (PGDBF) PO Mains Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 28th Feb 2017. The selection procedure includes 1) Preliminary Exam 2) Mains (Objective + Descriptive)
3) Interview.

Course Fees:

The total fees of this course is Rs.3,50,000 plus service taxes. The Bank facilitates its Educational loan to all the selected candidates whatever the Terms and Conditions applicable to Educational Loan Scheme of the Bank.

Indian Bank (PGDBF) PO Mains Exam Pattern:

  1. The questions in all sections except English & Descriptive Test will be available bilingually.
  2. Descriptive papers of only those candidates will be evaluated who qualify in the mains exam.
  3. It is mandatory to clear both sectional as well as overall cutoff in Preliminary as well as Mains
    Exam.

Reasoning Ability:

Questions related to Seating Arrangement, Puzzles, Inequality, Syllogism, Input-Output, Data-sufficiency, Logical Reasoning, Miscellaneous topics like blood relations, order and ranking, alphanumeric series.

Quantitative Aptitude:

Number series, Simplification / Approximation, Data Interpretation, Quadratic Equations, Miscellaneous Topics such as basic arithmetic, Partnership, Ratio & Proportion, Probability etc.

English Language:

Reading Comprehension, Cloze test, Spotting errors, Sentence Improvement/Correction, Para jumbles.

General Awareness:

  • Questions from the Current Affairs & Awareness topics relevant to Banking (Keep yourself updated)
  • This section may include questions on Books & authors, Currencies, Important Places, Awards, Headquarters, Prime Ministers Schemes, and Important Days etc.
  • Keep yourself updated and prepared with GK of 3 to 4 months, also the GK related to countries and their capitals. You can refer to the countries that have been in news lately pr may have been visited by our Honorable PM or President.

Computer Knowledge:

Fundamentals of Computer, History of Computer, Internet, MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Access, Memory, Input Output devices, Computer Shortcuts, Important Abbreviations.
