ICICI Bank has launched a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking(PGDB) program in partnership with Manipal university. The aim of the program is to develop efficient banking professionals who would have the required skill sets to perform day to day activities of banking with perfection.

The bank will conduct an exam to select candidates who will be undergoing one year full time residential Programat ICICI Manipal Academy (IMA) campus, Bengaluru including internship and on-the-job training at ICICI Bank.

Details of ICICI PGDB Training Program:

Post Graduate Diploma in Banking (PGDB) Programis an initiative of ICICI Bank in partnership with Manipal University. The Probationary Officers training Programaims to attract young talent who wish to pursue a career in banking. It is a vocational training Programdesigned to develop a pool of first level managers with banking knowledge and required skill-sets to perform efficiently in their day-to-day activities. The ICICI Bank has been conducting this Programsince the year 2007. In this program the bank will select some candidates for the Probationary Officers posts.

Eligibility:

• A Graduate with 55% (Aggregate) marks in any discipline.
• Upto 25 years of age as on 31st December 2016 (Should have been born on or after 31st December 1991)

Selection Procedure :

The Aptitude Test is likely to be held in January and February 2016 followed by Group Discussions/Interviews in February or March 2016 for the applicants who clear the Aptitude Test.The selection will be based on a multi-stage process.

• Online Aptitude test
• Online Psychometric Questionnaire
• Case-based Group Discussion

After Selection you will undergo 6 months of intensive residential classroom training and 5 months of internship with a stipend.

Training /Course Fee:

The Probationary Officer Training Program is a golden opportunity to managerial jobs for aspiring students. To pursue the Probationary Officer Training Program the interested students will have to pay towards training:

Rs 360,675/- (Loan amount of Rs 315,000/- Plus applicable Service Tax, which is presently at 14.5%)

Rs 16354/- (Cost of Tablet + Cover + SD Card + VAT)

Total Amount: Rs.3,77,029/- which would be provided by ICICI Bank as a loan at a subsidized interest rate of 2.5% p.a. Differential amount, if any, on account of increase in Service Tax at a future date, would be borne by the applicant

Re-payment Terms:

After joining the bank as an assistant manager, the loan EMI (approx. Rs.6000/- month) should be paid for 60 months. If you discontinue during training or within 5 years after joining the bank, you must pay the total loan amount alongwith with interest.
