IBPS Exam Calendar 2016

IBPS or the Institute for Banking Personnel Selection conducts a yearly exam for the post of Management Trainee, Probationary Officers, Clerical Cadre and Specialist Officers across all the public sector banks. IBPS was established in 1975 and today it is responsible for the placement, recruitment and also the promotion of various candidates. The growth of banking sectors is directly proportional to IBPS. The Institute for Banking Personnel Selection is an independent board that conducts exams for the below mentioned cadres:

1. CWE PO/MT – This exists for the post of Probationary Officer and Management Trainee

2. CWE Clerk – This department offers recruitment for clerical posts i.e. clerk vacancies

3. CWE (Specialist Officers) – This post is exclusively for the Specialist Officers

4. CWE RRB Officer – This post is for the officers who would be selected to work in regional as well as rural banks

REGISTRATION PROCESS

The registration process of all the IBPS exams is done online only. Also, there is a single registration where there are separate Preliminary and Main Exams.
