IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Analysis : 27th November 2016 (Evening Shift/Slot 4)

The final shift of second day of IBPS Clerk Preliminary exam has come to an end. The slot 4 was conducted from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.

(A) Quantitative Aptitude:

Quantitative Aptitude or Numerical Abilty section is the key to gain some marks. This section will test your maths speed and application of correct formula to derive accurate result.

(i) Number of questions required to be attempted in order to clear cut off easily , also referred as Good /Safe/Decent Attempts is  18-22.

(ii) Level of difficulty: The difficulty of Quant section was Easy.

(B) Reasoning Ability:

Reasoning ability is an important paper in every competitive examination. In the reasoning section, you may encounter some tricky questions. It is required to read the question well and understand before attempting.

(i) You should attempt minimum 20-24 questions to clear the cut off easily.

(ii) Level of difficulty: This section was of Moderate level.

(C) English Language:

English Language section will check your reading and vocabulary skills. Do not waste too much time for this section. Concentrate on clearing the individual cut off score.

(i) Attempt 17-21 number of questions in order to be assured of clearing the cut off marks for the individual section.

(ii) Level of difficulty: Considering the level and type of questions, the section was Easy.

The cut off marks should be surpassed in order to qualify for the next level. The cut off will be applied to each section individually as well as the overall score. Also, the cut off will be different for each category and also for each state.
