Federal bank has issued exam pattern and syllabus of Federal Bank PO as well as Clerk Exams 2017. The Federal bank has issued notification for the post of PO and clerk 2017 a few days ago and the online registration will close on 16^th June 2017. There will be negative marks at the rate of 0.25 for wrong answers. The qualifying criteria will be decided by the Bank as per its selection policy. Online Aptitude Test will be followed by a Psychometric Questionnaire for a maximum duration of15minutes.

Verbal Ability – English Language:

English Language section will cover the following topics – Reading Comprehension, Cloze test, Spotting Errors, Sentence Improvement, Para jumbles, Fill in the blanks, Para completion, Vocabulary (Synonyms / Antonyms)

Logical Aptitude – Reasoning:

The Reasoning section cover the following topics – Seating Arrangement, Puzzles, Inequalities, Syllogism, Alphanumeric Series, Alphabet Test, Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Order and Ranking, Verbal Reasoning, Coding – Decoding, Machine Input – Output, Data Sufficiency

Quantitative / Numerical Ability:

The Quantitative Aptitude section would cover the following topics – Number Series, Simplification/ Approximation, Quadratic Equations, Data Interpretation, Averages, Boats and Streams, Age based problems, Simple and Compound Interest, Mixture and Alligation, Partnerships, Percentages, Pipes and Cisterns, Profit, Loss and Discount, Time, Speed and Distance, Time, work and Wages

General, Socio Economic and Banking Section:

It would comprise current affairs of last 6 months. It features questions from events in National and International Economy, Relevant Social issues etc.

Marketing / Sales Aptitude

Questions in Marketing or Sales aptitude section would cover the following topics –

Marketing Concepts & Basic Marketing, Consumer Behavior,Business Strategy, Product Development, Price determination and its role in marketing

Computer Awareness:

Questions in the Computer Awareness Section would cover the following topics –

Computer Fundamentals, Internet, Microsoft, MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc), Memory and its types, Input – Output devices, Computer Shortcuts
