BOB Manipal PO PGDBF Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Bank of Baroda recently issued the notification for BOB Manipal PO Recruitment 2017 notification for JMGS Scale-1 Officer post. There are total 1200 vacancies.

The notification of BOB Manipal PO has been released for 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance(PGDBF) course in Baroda Manipal School of Banking from Manipal University or any other institute in other part of the country. The course consists of 9 months on campus program after which the candidate would be awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Banking & Finance and will be offered appointment in the Bank as Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade / Scale-I.

The Online Exam of BOB Manipal PO will be organized tentatively on 27th May 2017. A candidate should know the pattern and syllabus of the exam, to qualify and to score good marks. So in order to help in your preparation, we are presenting you the detailed pattern and syllabus of the exam.

Bank of Baroda (BOB) Manipal PO PGDBF Exam Pattern 2017

There will be two tests comprising of total 250 marks.

• Objective
• Descriptive Test
• Psychometric Assessment
• Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

BOB Manipal PO Objective test pattern:

The time duration of the objective test will be 2 hours or 120 minutes. There will be sectional cut offs in each section apart from the overall cut off.

BOB Manipal PO Descriptive test pattern:

This test is for checking the command over English language. The duration of the test is 30 minutes. Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in objective test.

Reasoning Ability 

In BOB Manipal PO Reasoning section questions will be asked from the following different topics -

• Puzzle - Floor based, colors, cities, etc.

• Data Sufficiency
• Coding Decoding
• Miscellaneous Questions which includes topics – Blood relation, Ranking, Direction, etc.

Quantitative Aptitude 

In BOB Manipal PO Quant section questions are asked from different topics which are as follows - 

• Data Interpretation
• Number Series
• Quadratic Equation
• Approximation / Simplification
• Miscellaneous Questions which includes – Average, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Partnership, Ratio & Proportion, Problem on Ages, Probability etc.

English Language
