Bank of Baroda PO 2016 Exam Analysis: Slot 1 and 2

Bank of Baroda  PO 2016 Exam Analysis

The Bank of Baroda has successfully completed its examination in two slots for the position of “Probationary Officer”. The first slot of the examination was conducted in 9: 00 AM to 11: 30 AM and the second slot was held between 2: 00 PM to 4: 30 PM. As per sources, the overall level of the examination was “Easy-Moderate”

Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions):

The level of the questions were of “Easy to Moderate “level.

1. Number Series – 5 Qs (Moderate) 

2. Data Interpretation – 2 set (10 Qs) – One Line Graph DI was easy & Pie Chart based DI was moderate 

1st slot – 2 set (10 Qs) – One Bar Graph (company & production) DI was easy & Table graph (Dance) based DI was moderate 

2nd slot – 3 set (10 Qs) – One Line Graph & was easy & Table graph (Simple) based DI was moderate. One Pie Chart was easy as well

3. Approximation – 5 Qs (Easy)

4. Quadratic Equation – 5 Qs (Easy)

5. Miscellaneous – 10 Qs (Moderate)

Slot 1:

Letter Writing: The level of the questions asked in letter writing was “Easy”. The word limit for letter was of 150 words worth 20 marks. The topics asked include: a. Letter regarding Lokpal Bill, b. Letter to Police Commissioner regarding Cyber Crime, c. Letter to Newspaper Editor regarding Noise Pollution.

Essay Writing: The level of the questions asked in easy writing was “Easy”. The word limit for letter was of 250 words worth 30 marks. The topics asked include: a. Is it right to pry into the lives of politicians and film stars? , b. Government initiative on start-ups, c. Reality of Paid Journalism and its impact on Ethical Journalism

Slot 2:
