There are all total of 4874 number of posts in several departments and candidates appearing for the examination will have a tough competition.

Candidates are advised to download their respective admit cards from the official website of SSC i.e. www.sscner.org.in

Schedule of SSC CGL Re- Examination: 27^th October 2017

The re- examination is being conducted for the Batch- II of August 2016. This delay was due to some reasons related to the administration.

Date of SSC CGL Tier I result declaration: 8^th November 2016

Let us take a look at the procedure of the downloading the SSC CGL Tier I admit cards for re- examination for North- Eastern Region:

Procedure to download the Admit card:

• Please log into the official website which is- www.sscner.org.in
• Please go the Under recent updates section,
• Please click on the section which reads 'e-Admit Card for Combined Graduate Level Exam 2016 (TIER-I) Re-exam'
• Enter the necessary details like registration number and roll number in the required places.
• Go for submitting it by clicking on the submit button.
• You can see the admit card displayed on the screen.
• Download the admit card and take a printout for further reference. Do carry it with you to the examination hall without fail.

SSC CGL & Highlights

• The examination was conducted in all total of 44 batches in 99 cities across the whole country.
• The dates of conduction of the exam were 27^th of August and 11^th of September. Srinagar one was an exception because the date of exam there was 25^th of September 2016.
• The candidates those who manage to successfully clear the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination will have to appear SSC CGL Tier II which is scheduled in November.
