SSC JHT Admit Card: Know your Roll Numbers

SSC has been releasing SSC Junior Hindi Translator admit card 2018-19 region wise. The exam is conducted to fill posts for Junior Translators, Hindi Pradhyapak and Senior Hindi Translator. The SSC JHT paper 1 is scheduled to be held on 13th January 2019. The admit card will be released around 15 days before the exam. Previously, SSC had released the Application Status and Roll numbers of candidates from Karnataka Kerala Region and Southern Region.   • Click on the ‘Admit Card‘ link from the top menu

Dear Aspirants,

According to the latest notice released by SSC, the final SSC Steno Result 2017 will not be published on 28th December 2018. This is due to some objections raised on the SSC Stenographer Skill Test Result 2017. Previously, the Skill test results for SSC Steno 2017 was declared on 28th December, along with an additional list on 10th December. But considering the objections raised, the commission has considered revising the evaluation of Skill Test. SSC Notice – Amendments in SSC CGL Age Limit

SSC Revised Dates

Staff Selection Commission has released an announcement making some changes in the notice released on 5th May, 2018. The changes are done on Para 2.1. The change is on age limits regarding the post of Group B Inspector under Central Bureau of Narcotics. Previously the age limits for the post was 18 to 27 years. According to the latest amendment the upper age limit has been extended to 30 years.

SSC Notice – SSC CGL Tier I Postponed

Staff Selection Commission has released the official revised exam calendar. In this notice, the exam date of SSC CGL Tier I exam 2018 is not mentioned. Therefore, it is expected that SSC CGL Tier I will get postponed. Earlier, the exam was scheduled from 25th July to 20th August 2018. The exact exam date of SSC CGL has not been notified yet.

In this revised SSC Annual Calendar, you will find the list of all SSC exam dates. However, for most of the exams, the date is set to be notified later.

Staff Selection Commission holds the Stenographer exam for recruitment to Grade C and D posts. As the notification was published on 22nd October 2018, candidates can apply for the same till 9th November 2018. The eligibility criteria for this post is minimal. You need to clear only 12th Standard examination to write this exam. So, this is a very good opportunity for you to try and grab a govt. job. Your selection to the post will depend upon your performance in the two phases of the exam. The first phase is the Computer-Based Exam and the next phase is the Skill Test. Only if you qualify the first round, you will be called for the next round. To prepare for this post, the first step is to go through the latest SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern. All the questions are of objective nature. And there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong attempt. You can take all the sections but English Language in either English or Hindi.

⇒Skill Test

  • You need to transcribe the dictation on the Computer. For Grade C posts, you will get 50 minutes to complete it (65 minutes for Hindi). And for Grade D posts, you will get 40 minutes to complete (55 minutes for Hindi).

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern – Tier 3

This is a Skill/Typing test. For skill test, you should have a typing speed of 8000 key depressions per hour. They will provide you with a printed sheet. And you have to type that in the computer within 15 minutes. The total number of words in the sheet will be around 2000 – 2200.

For typing test, if you choose English, your typing speed should be 35 words per minute. And for Hindi, typing speed should be 30 words per minute. Total time is 10 minutes. They will judge you on the basis of accuracy as well as speed.

The SSC CHSL Tier-I paper will be objective in nature. In total 100 questions will be asked for which the candidates will get about 65 minutes-

Note – SSC CHSL Tier I exam, this year, will consist of 60 minutes of time duration instead of 75 minutes.

The SSC CHSL Tier II will be a descriptive paper in Pen and Paper Mode.
