The SBI Clerk examination is back again in the year 2017 with new surprises for every aspirant. The SBI Clerk examination will be basically held in two phases: Preliminary and Mains. The candidates who will qualify the preliminary examination will be able to appear for the mains examination and the candidates who will be able to qualify the mains examination will be able to go for personal interview.

SBI Clerk 2017: Pattern
- Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Exam would consist of objective type questions worth 100 marks & will be conducted in online mode. The total duration of the examination would be of 1 hour. It will have 3 sections:
(1) English Language
(2) Quantitative Aptitude
(3) Reasoning Ability
- Main Exam: The Main Exam would be of 200 marks & will be conducted online. The duration of exam would be 2 hours 40 mins time duration.
- There will be negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong answer (only for objective type questions)

SBI Clerk 2017: Eligibility Criteria
- For the post of Junior Associates, the candidate must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or any course with recognition from the central govt.
- For the post of Junior Agriculture Associates, the candidate must hold a graduation degree in agriculture or agriculture allied activities from a recognized university.
- Applicants can apply before the completion of their graduation (in the last year of their graduation) but when called for interview they need to carry their graduation passing proof along with them.
- The applicants applying for SBI Clerk 2017 must have ages between 20 to 28 years as on 1st April 2017.
