G Balakrishna in October 2016 won the Mr Asia title at the 5th Phil-Asia bodybuilding championships in the Philippines. 25-year-old Balakrishna is a Bengaluru-based water tanker driver.
●   In 2013, he won Mr Universe Under-24 junior contest in Germany
●   In 2014, he won Mr Universe title in the same category at the world championship in Athens
●   He joined the water-tanker business in 2010 in Whitefild, Bengaluru to supplement his income as a gym instructor.
●   He is a resident of Ramagondanahalli near Varthur
●   An ardent fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Balakrishna was trained by renowned bodybuilders from Mumbai and Punjab, named Sangram Chougla and Manish Kumar respectively
●   As per reports, he is known as the Arnold Schwarzenegger of Whitefield

●   जी बालकृष्ण को मिस्टर एशिया 2016 का खिताब फिलीपींस में हुई पांचवी फिल-एशिया बॉडीबिल्डिंग चैंपियनशिप में दिया गया.
●   जी बालकृष्ण ने फिलीपींस में मिस्टर एशिया का खिताब जितने के लिए काफी मेहनत की.
●   जी बालकृष्ण ने वर्ष 2013 में जर्मनी में हुए मिस्टर यूनिवर्स अंडर-24 जूनियर प्रतियोगिता को जीता था.
●   उन्होंने वर्ष 2014 में ग्रीस में हुई मिस्टर यूनिवर्स अंडर-24 वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप को भी जीता था.
●   जी बालकृष्ण ने वाटर टैंकर बिजनस वर्ष 2010 में स्थापित किया था.
●   वे करीब एक दशक से वो बॉडी बिल्डर के तौर पर प्रैक्टिस में जुटे हुए थे.

Cyrus Mistry ousted as Tata Sons chief; Ratan Tata returns in interim

The board of Tata Sons Ltd on 23 October 2016 replaced Cyrus Mistry as Chairman of the India’s largest conglomerate and named his predecessor Ratan Tata as the interim chairman for four months.
●   No reason was given for removing Mistry, but it is believed there were differences over management style and his approach of selling assets after writing them down.
●   Mistry, 48, who replaced Tata, 78, as chairman in December 2012, was only the sixth group Chairman in nearly 15 decades and the first from outside the Tata family. He will remain a director of the individual companies, though his tenure as Chairman is the shortest so far at the group.
●   Besides, the board also named a five-member search committee, which includes Tata, to choose a successor within four months. The other members of the committee include TVS Group head Venu Srinivasan, Amit Chandra of Bain Capital, former diplomat Ronen Sen and Lord Kumar Bhattacharya. All of them, except Bhattacharya, are on the board of Tata Sons.
●   The Committee has been constituted with a mandate to complete the process in four months. Also, there will be no change at the level of CEOs in the operating company.
●   Tata will be interim head of the group while a Selection Committee appointed by the company searches for a replacement.

टाटा सन्स लिमिटेड ने 23 अक्टूबर 2016 को साइरस मिस्त्री को चेयरमैन पद से हटाकर उनके स्थान पर रतन टाटा को चार महीने के लिए अंतरिम चेयरमैन नियुक्त किया.
●   टाटा सन्स द्वारा चेयरमैन की नियुक्ति हेतु पांच सदस्यों वाली एक समिति का गठन किया गया है जो अगले चार महीने में नए चेयरमैन का चयन करेगी. सायरस मिस्त्री (48 वर्षीय) को हटाने का निर्णय टाटा सन्स के निदेशक मंडल की बैठक के बाद लिया गया.
●   मिस्त्री को हटाये जाने का कोई कारण नहीं बताया गया लेकिन यह अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है कि प्रबंधन के तरीकों में मतभेद होने के कारण उन्हें हटाया गया.
●   साइरस मिस्त्री टाटा की व्यक्तिगत कम्पनियों में डायरेक्टर पद पर बने रहेंगे. वे 2012 में इस पद पर नियुक्त होने वाले पहले गैर टाटा परिवार सदस्य थे.
●   चेयरमैन का चयन करने के लिए बनाई गयी समिति में टीवीएस ग्रुप प्रमुख वेणु श्रीनिवासन, बेन कैपिटल के अमित चंद्रा, पूर्व राजनयिक रोनेन सेन एवं लॉर्ड कुमार भट्टाचार्य शामिल हैं.
●   साइरस मिस्त्री को दिसम्बर 2012 में टाटा सन्स के चेयरमैन पद पर नियुक्त किया गया.
●   साइरस मिस्त्री ने मुंबई में कैथेड्रल एवं एंड जॉन कॉनन स्कूल से प्रारंभिक शिक्षा हासिल की. उन्होंने इंपीरियल कॉलेज से सिविल इंजीनियरिंग में बीएस किया.
●   उन्होंने लंदन से व्यापार प्रबंधन में एमएससी डिग्री हासिल की तथा टाटा सन्स के छठे चेयरमैन बने. वे टाटा उपनाम के बिना इस पद पर नियुक्त किये जाने वाले दूसरे अध्यक्ष थे.
●   उनसे पहले रतन टाटा के अतिरिक्त जमशेदजी नुसेरवांजी टाटा, सर दोराब टाटा, सर नौरोजी सकलातवाला और जेआरडी टाटा इस पद पर कार्यरत रह चुके हैं.

●   This is North Korea's second U-17 Women's World Cup title. The country won the first ever U-17 Women's World Cup in 2008.
●   The 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup was held in Jordan from 30 September to 21 October 2016.
●   The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup is an international association football tournament for female players under the age of 17.
●   It is organized by Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
●   The tournament is held in even-numbered years, starting in 2008.
●   The official emblem of the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup was unveiled on 3 May 2015, which was designed to showcase Jordan's most iconic symbols. Visual aspects of the Jordanian culture can be seen on the emblem that has the traditional shape of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Trophy.
●   Aseela is an Arabian oryx, which is the national animal of Jordan, was the mascot of the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

Expectations from the Asian Ministerial Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction to be held in New Delhi next month

The Government of India is hosting the first Asian Ministerial Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction (AMCDRR) after the advent of the Sendai Framework for DRR (SFDRR).
●   The SFDRR (2015-2030) was adopted by at the Third World Conference on DRR at Sendai in Japan in March, 2015. It is the first major agreement of the post-2015 development agenda and identifies targets and priority action areas towards reducing disaster risk - 'reducing the damage caused by natural hazards like earthquakes, floods, droughts and cyclones, through an ethic of prevention'. While listing governments as primary stakeholders, it also calls for shared responsibility with others including local governments and the private sector.
●   The AMCDRR, scheduled to be held from November 3-5, 2016, at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi will pave the way towards implementation of this Framework in the Asian region. It will also devise a mechanism for monitoring its progress.
●   Participating stakeholders, including governments, Non-Governmental Organisations, academia, civil society, volunteers, among others, would make actionable commitments arrived at through collaboration, consultation and partnership amongst all.
●   The Conference will adopt the ‘Asian Regional Plan for Implementation of the Sendai Framework’. Taking the Sendai Framework forward, which clarifies the ‘What’ that needs to be done at all levels to reduce disaster risk, this Plan will focus on the ‘How to’ at national and local levels. It will devise a longer term roadmap of cooperation and collaboration, spanning the 15-year horizon of the Sendai Framework, as well as a two-year action plan to further disaster risk reduction with specific, actionable activities.
●   Other outcomes will include the New Delhi Declaration, which will spell out the commitment of participating governments towards preventing and reducing disaster risk, and strengthening the resilience of communities, nations and the Asian region.
●   Besides these, stakeholder groups will also come up with action statements aimed towards a ‘shared responsibility’ approach in implementation of the SFDRR.
●   Established in 2005, the AMCDRR is a biennial conference jointly organized by different Asian countries and the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR).

भारत सरकार प्रथम बार आपदा जोखिम को कम करने के लिए एशियाई मंत्रिस्तरीय सम्मेलन (एएमसीडीआरआर) की मेजबानी कर रही है। इस सम्मेलन को आयोजन आपदा जोखिम न्यूनीकरण के लिए सेंडाइ फ्रेमवर्क (एसएफडीआरआर) को अपनाने के बाद किया जा रहा है।
●   जापान के सेंडाइ में मार्च, 2015 में डीआरआर पर तृतीय विश्व सम्मेलन में एसएफडीआरआर (2015-2030) को अपनाया गया था। भूकंप, बाढ़, सूखा और चक्रवात जैसे प्राकृतिक खतरों के कारण से होने वाले नुकसान को कम करने और आपदा जोखिम की रोकथाम के लक्ष्य और प्राथमिकता के तौर पर कार्रवाई वाले क्षेत्रों की पहचान करने एवं 2015 के बाद विकास एजेंडे की दिशा में यह प्रथम प्रमुख समझौता है। सरकारों को प्राथमिक हितधारकों के रूप में सूचीबद्ध करते हुए यह स्थानीय सरकारों और निजी क्षेत्र सहित अन्य लोगों के साथ साझा जिम्मेदारी का भी आह्वान करता है।
●   एएमसीडीआरआर का आयोजन नई दिल्ली के विज्ञान भवन में 3 से 5 नवम्बर, 2016 को किया जाएगा और इससे एशियाई क्षेत्र में इस प्रारूप के कार्यान्वयन की दिशा में मार्ग प्रशस्त होगा। यह अपनी प्रगति की निगरानी के लिए एक तंत्र का भी सृजन करेगा।
●   इस सम्मेलन में भाग लेने वाले हितधारकों में शामिल सरकारें, गैर सरकारी संगठन, शिक्षा विद, नागरिक समाज, स्वयंसेवक और अन्य लोग सहयोग, परामर्श और सभी के बीच आपसी तालमेल के माध्यम से कार्रवाई योग्य प्रतिबद्धताओं पर सामंजस्य बनायेंगे।
●   इस सम्मेलन में सेंडाइ फ्रेमवर्क के कार्यान्वयन के लिए एशियाई क्षेत्रीय योजना' को भी अपनाया जाएगा। सेंडाई प्रारू़प पर आगे कदम बढ़ाते हुए यह स्पष्ट किया गया है कि आपदा जोखिम का कम करने के लिए सभी स्तरों पर क्या कदम उठाये जाने की आवश्यकता है और इस योजना पर कैसे राष्ट्रीय और स्थानीय स्तरों पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा। सम्मेलन में सहयोग और सामंजस्य के माध्यम से एक लंबी अवधि का रोडमैप भी तैयार किया जाएगा। सेंडाइ फ्रेमवर्क की 15 वर्षीय अवधि के साथ ही विशिष्ट कार्रवाई की गतिविधियों के साथ आपदा जोखिम में कमी लाने के लिए एक दो वर्षीय कार्य योजना को अंजाम दिया जाएगा।
●   अन्य परिणामों में, नई दिल्ली घोषणा के तहत सहभागी सरकारों की प्रतिबद्धता में आपदा जोखिम को कम करना, और समुदायों, जातियों और एशियाई क्षेत्र को इस दिशा में मजबूत बनाना भी शामिल है।
●   इसके अतिरिक्त, एसएफडीआरआर के कार्यान्वयन में ‘साझा जिम्मेदारी’ के दृष्टिकोण के उद्देश्य से कार्य करने की दिशा में हितधारक समूह भी अपने विचार व्यक्त करेंगे।
●   2005 में स्थापित, एएमसीडीआरआर विभिन्न एशियाई देशों और आपदा जोखिम को कम करने हेतु संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से आयोजित एक द्विवार्षिक सम्मेलन है।

Milan confers honorary citizenship on Dalai Lama

The Milan city council on 20 October 2016 bestowed honorary citizenship on the Dalai Lama. However, China has strongly opposed another award given to him.
●   Lamberto Bertole, Chairman of the Council of Milan, honoured the Dalai Lama with the Milan Honorary Citizenship award at a ceremony held at the Arcimboldi Theatre in Milan, Italy.
●   The 14th Dalai Lama is the current Dalai Lama.
●   Dalai Lamas are important monks of the Gelug school, the newest school of Tibetan Buddhism, which is nominally headed by the Ganden Tripas.
●   His enthronement ceremony as the Dalai Lama was held in Lhasa on 22 February 1940.
●   He eventually assumed full temporal duties on 17 November 1950, at the age of 15, after China's invasion of Tibet.
●   During the 1959 Tibetan uprising, the Dalai Lama fled to India, where he currently lives as a refugee.
●   The 14th Dalai Lama received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989.

●   मिलान की काउंसिल के चेयरमैन लम्बेरतो बेर्तोले ने मिलान में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान दलाई लामा को मानद नागरिकता प्रदान की.
●   दलाई लामा तिब्बती बौद्ध धर्म के वर्तमान 14वें धर्मगुरु हैं.
●   चीन द्वारा तिब्बत पर आक्रमण के बाद उन्हें ही राजनैतिक सत्ता संभालने का आग्रह किया गया.
●   1987 में दलाई लामा ने तिब्बत की खराब होती स्थिति का शांतिपूर्ण हल तलाशने की दिशा में पहला कदम उठाते हुए पांच सूत्रीय शांति योजना प्रस्तुत की.
●   उन्हें 22 फरवरी 1940 में अधिकारिक रूप से पद ग्रहण कराया गया.
●   उन्होंने 15 वर्ष की आयु में 1950 से अपना दायित्व संभालना आरंभ किया.
●   1959 में तिब्बत संघर्ष के समय दलाई लामा ने भारत में शरण प्राप्त की.
●   चौदहवें दलाई लामा को वर्ष 1989 में नोबल शांति पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया.

Police Commemoration Day observed across India

The Police Commemoration Day was observed on 21 October 2016 across India.
●   The Annual Conference of Inspectors General of Police of States and Union Territories held in January 1960 decided that 21 October will be observed as Commemoration Day in all Police Lines throughout India to mark the memory of these gallant personnel.
●   Home Minister Rajnath Singh laid wreath and paid homage to the police martyrs at Police Memorial Ground, Chanakyapuri in Delhi.
●   The day commemorates the sacrifices of ten policemen while defending the borders with China in 1959.
●   On 21 October 1959, Chinese Army personnel opened fire and threw grenades at the police party of 20 personnel.
●   Ten of them died, seven were taken prisoners by the Chinese and the remaining managed to escape.
●   Since 1961, more than 33000 police personnel have sacrificed their lives for security of the nation and service to the society.

पुलिस स्मरणोत्सव दिवस मनाया गया

पुलिस स्मरणोत्सव दिवस 21 अक्टूबर 2016 को नई दिल्ली में मनाया गया. इस समारोह के मुख्य अतिथि केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह थे.
●   जनवरी 1960 में हुए राज्य और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के इंस्पेक्टर जनरल के वार्षिक सम्मेलन में यह फैसला किया गया था कि आज से 21 अक्टूबर को पुलिस स्मरणोत्सव दिवस मनाया जाएगा.
●   समारोह के दौरान मेमोरियल परेड की गई और केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने पुलिस को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए जल्द ही राष्ट्रीय पुलिस मेमोरियल के गठन की घोषणा की.
●   ये दिन 1959 में चीन के साथ सीमाओं की रक्षा करते हुए दस पुलिसकर्मियों के बलिदान की याद दिलाता है।
●   21 अक्टूबर 1959, को चीनी सेना ने गोलीबारी शुरू कर दी और 20 पुलिसकर्मियों के दल पर ग्रेनेड फेंक दिया।
●   उनमें से दस की मौत हो गई, सात को चीनी द्वारा कैद कर लिया गया और शेष भागने में सफल रहे।
●   1961 के बाद से, 33000 पुलिसकर्मियों ने समाज के लिए और देश की सुरक्षा और सेवा के लिए अपने जीवन का बलिदान कर दिया।

India's financial hub Mumbai has been named among top 15 cities globally in terms of total wealth held, while London topped the list.
●   According to New World Wealth, the wealthiest cities in the world are London with USD 2.7 trillion of total wealth.
●   New York City (USD 2.6 trillion) and Tokyo (USD 2.2 trillion) in the second and third place respectively.
●   Mumbai featured on the 14th place in the list with a total wealth held in the city worth USD 820 billion.
●   Home to 45,000 millionaires and 28 billionaires, Mumbai is the economic hub of India. It is also home to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
●   Others in the list include San Francisco Bay area at the fourth place with a total wealth of USD 1.9 trillion; Beijing (5th, USD 1.8 trillion); Shanghai (6th, USD 1.6 trillion).
●   Other countries are Sydney, Toronto, Frankfurt, Paris.
●   'Total wealth' refers to the private wealth held by all individuals in a country.

●   रिपोर्ट के अनुसार 45,000 करोड़पतियों, 28 अरबपतियों के साथ-साथ मुंबई में बंबई शेयर बाजार भी है और यह देश की आर्थिक राजधानी भी है.
●   इन 15 शहरों में सॉन फ्रांसिस्को समुद्री क्षेत्र 1,900 अरब डॉलर की संपत्ति के साथ चौथे स्थान पर रहा.
●   बीजिंग 1800 अरब डॉलर के साथ पांचवे, शंघाई 1600 अरब डॉलर के साथ छठे स्थान पर रहा.
●   अन्य शहरों में लॉस एंजिलिस, हांगकांग, सिंगापुर, शिकागो, टोरंटो, फ्रैंकफर्ट और पेरिस भी शामिल हैं.

The top global medical ethics body, World Medical Association (WMA), appointed an Indian doctor facing corruption charges as its president.
●   Taiwan held its annual meeting in the WMA & announced Dr Ketan Desai was appointed Chairman of the Association.
●   He delivered the inaugural address as president in Taiwan. In 2013 WMA after assurance claim against Dr. Desai's by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) from the a president removed the suspension.
●   WMA's annual meeting held in Taiwan where more than 40 national medical associations were present.
●   He will remain chairman of the Association for 2016/17.
●   Dr. Desai has also been the Chairman of IMA.
●   Dr. Desai is urologists of BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad, head of the Department of Urology.
●   Currently he is a member of the Gujarat Medical Council. He became a member of 990's.

●   डब्ल्यूएमए के अनुसार ताइवान में हुई उसकी वार्षिक बैठक में डॉ केतन देसाई को एसोसिएशन का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया.

●   ताइवान में आयोजित डब्ल्यूएमए की वार्षिक सभा में 40 से अधिक राष्ट्रीय चिकित्सा संघों के प्रतिनिधि मौजूद थे.
●   वह 2016/17 के लिए एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष रहेंगे.
●   डॉ देसाई आईएमए के अध्यक्ष भी रह चुके हैं.
●   डॉ देसाई यूरोलॉजिस्ट हैं और बी.जे. मेडिकल कॉलेज, अहमदाबाद में यूरोलॉजी विभाग के प्रमुख हैं.
●   वर्तमान में वह गुजरात मेडिकल काउंसिल के सदस्य है. वह 990 के दशक में सदस्य बने.
●   वह मूल रूप से गुजरात के मारोली गांव के निवासी हैं.
●   उन्होंने हंसराज मोरारजी पब्लिक स्कूल, जहां उनके पिता धीरू भाई देसाई प्राथमिक अनुभाग में शिक्षक थे, से स्नातक स्तर की पढ़ाई पूरी की.
●   उन्होंने बी.जे. मेडिकल कॉलेज, अहमदाबाद से वर्ष 1983 में मूत्रविज्ञान में अपनी एमबीबीएस और एमसीएच पूरा किया.
●   वह डेंटल काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया के अध्यक्ष भी रहे.

NTPC to set up 50-MW solar projects in Andaman & Nicobar

State-owned power firm NTPC will set up solar projects totalling 50 MW with battery storage system at different locations in Port Blair in Andaman & Nicobar.
●   A memorandum of understanding among NTPC, the Andaman & Nicobar administration and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to this effect was signed on October 20, 2016.
●   The power generated from these solar plants is expected to contribute to higher renewable energy deployment and greening of A&N islands.
●   NTPC group’s total installed capacity stands at 47,228 MW, which includes 800 MW of hydro and 360 MW of solar generation capacity.
●   The main task of the thermal power plants of NTPC technology is construction and operation.
●   The power generating companies in India and abroad also provides technical advice.
●   It is currently part of the government's 89.5%.
●   On November 7, 1975 was established.

अंडमान निकोबार में 50 मेगावाट की सौर परियोजना हेतु एनटीपीसी के साथ समझौता

सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की कम्पनी एनटीपीसी अंडमान निकोबार में पोर्ट ब्लेयर में बैटरी भंडारण क्षमता के साथ कुल 50 मेगावाट क्षमता की सौर परियोजनाएं स्थापित करेगी.
●   परियोजनाओं के बारे में एनटीपीसी, अंडमान निकोबार प्रशासन तथा नवीन एवं नवीकरणीय उर्जा मंत्रालय के बीच 20 अक्तूबर 2016 को सहमति पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर किये गये.
●   परियोजनाएं अंडमान निकोबार में पोर्ट ब्लेयर में विभिन्न स्थानों पर स्थापित की जाएंगी.
●   एनटीपीसी समूह की कुल स्थापित क्षमता 47,228 मेगावाट पहुंच गयी है जिसमें 800 मेगावाट पनबिजली तथा 360 मेगावाट सौर उर्जा है.
●   एनटीपीसी का मुख्य काम ताप विद्युत संयंत्रों का प्रौद्योगिकी, निर्माण एवं संचालन है.
●   यह भारत एवं विदेश की विद्युत उत्पादक कम्पनियों को तकनीकी सलाह भी देती है.
●   वर्तमान में इसमे भारत सरकार का हिस्सा 89.5% है.
●   इसकी स्थापना 07 नवम्बर 1975 को की गयी.

India's first female Olympic wrestler Geeta Phogat appointed DSP

●   Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar appointed India's first female Olympic wrestler Geeta Phogat as police superintendent on October 20, 2016.
●   Geeta Phogat won gold in the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
●   He also took part in the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Geeta Phogat was born on December 15, 1988 in Bhiwani district in the Hindu Jat family.
Vinesh Phogat and Babita Kumari, Geeta Phogat sisters have won the Commonwealth Games gold medal.
●   Geeta Phogat in 2009 in Jalandhar won gold in the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship.
●   She then won the gold medal after defeating Australia's Emily Bensted in 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games
●   In the qualifying match for the 2012 Olympics, she won the gold medal by defeating Canada's Tonya Vrbik.
●   The Asian Championships held in Doha in 2015, she finished third and won the bronze medal.

भारत की पहली महिला ओलंपिक पहलवान गीता फोगट को हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने 20 अक्टूबर 2016 कोहरियाणा पुलिस अधीक्षक पद पर नियुक्त किये जाने हेतु स्वीकृति प्रदान की.
●   गीता फोगट ने वर्ष 2010 के कॉमनवेल्थ खेलों में स्वर्ण पदक जीता था.
●   उन्होंने वर्ष 2012 के लंदन ओलंपिक खेलों में भी भाग लिया था.
●   15 दिसंबर 1988 को गीता फोगट का जन्म हरियाणा के भिवानी जिले के हिन्दू जाट परिवार में हुआ.
●   गीता फोगट की बहनें विनेश फोगट एवं बबीता कुमारी भी कॉमनवेल्थ खेलों में स्वर्ण पदक जीत चुकी हैं.
●   गीता फोगट ने वर्ष 2009 में जालंधर, पंजाब में आयोजित राष्ट्रमंडल कुश्ती प्रतियोगिता में स्वर्ण पदक जीता था.
●   इसके बाद उन्होंने दिल्ली में आयोजित 2010 के कॉमनवेल्थ खेलों में ऑस्ट्रेलिया की एमिली बेन्स्टेड को हराकर स्वर्ण पदक जीता.
●   वर्ष 2012 के ओलंपिक खेलों के लिए हुए क्वालीफाई मैच में उन्होंने कनाडा की टोन्या वरबीक को हराकर स्वर्ण पदक जीता.
●   दोहा में आयोजित वर्ष 2015 के एशियन चैंपियनशिप में उन्होंने तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया और कांस्य पदक जीता.
