India's first female Olympic wrestler Geeta Phogat appointed DSP

●    Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar appointed India's first female Olympic wrestler Geeta Phogat as police superintendent on October 20, 2016.
●    Geeta Phogat won gold in the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
●    He also took part in the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Geeta Phogat was born on December 15, 1988 in Bhiwani district in the Hindu Jat family.
Vinesh Phogat and Babita Kumari, Geeta Phogat sisters have won the Commonwealth Games gold medal.
●    Geeta Phogat in 2009 in Jalandhar won gold in the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship.
●    She then won the gold medal after defeating Australia's Emily Bensted in 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games 
●    In the qualifying match for the 2012 Olympics, she won the gold medal by defeating Canada's Tonya Vrbik.
●    The Asian Championships held in Doha in 2015, she finished third and won the bronze medal.
