Agni-I is a medium-range ballistic missile developed by DRDO of India under the Integrated Guided Missile Development Program. It is a single-stage missile developed after the Kargil War to fill the gap between 250 km range of Prithvi-II and 2,500 km range of Agni-II.

A day-long SAARC Regional Workshop on Sharing Best Practices on "Disaster Risk Reduction" was inaugurated here today by Dr P. K. Mishra, Additional Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, in the presence of Mr. Arjun Bahadur Thapa, Secretary General of SAARC .The aim of the Regional workshop is to provide a platform to member countries for sharing best practices in the field of disaster risk reduction, experience sharing on Nepal Earthquake April 2015 as well as deliberating upon the outcomes of the South Asian Annual Disaster Management Exercise (SAADMEx -2015).

National Milk Day observes in India The National Milk Day (NMD) observed on 26 November 2015 across India to mark 94th birth anniversary of the Father of the White Revolution Dr Verghese Kurien. He is remembered as the founder and creator of Amul.

About Dr V Kurien-social entrepreneur Dr Verghese Kurien, known as the father of White Revolution, was the man behind Operation Flood. He was the chief architect who made India the largest milk producer in the world. Born on November 26, 1921 at Kozhikode in Kerala, Dr Kurien graduated with a degree in physics from Loyola College, Madras in 1940. He also did his bachelors in mechanical engineering from Madras University.

About White Revolution (Operation Flood)-launched in 1970 is a project of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), which was the world's biggest dairy development program, that made India, from a milk-deficient nation to the world's largest milk producer.Within 30 years India doubled per person available milk quantity.

Main Features of Indian Constitution
1. Our founding fathers borrowed great constitutional principles from the foreign constitutions while avoiding their loopholes to ensure healthy political life to the citizens. 
2.Unlike other constitutions, the Indian constitution provides not only the basic law. It also provides very detailed and minute(basic level) administrative provisions.
3.the Indian constitution is an omnibus constitution. It is at the same time a constitution for the whole nation as well as for the component states of the Union.
4.it is a federal constitution ( for central as  well as state government)
5.it provides for parliamentary form of government both at the centre and in the states.
6.India’s constitution is far less rigid than a normal federal constitution. Truly, it is more flexible than rigid.
7. constitution guarantees fundamental rights of the citizens.
