26th November first Constitution Day celebrated by Nation

The first ‘Constitution Day’ The first Constitution Day is being observed on 26th November to spread awareness of Indian Constitution . The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has greeted the people of India, on the historic occasion of 1^st Constitution Day. The Prime Minister saluted Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar for his contribution to Indian Constitution.On 26th Nov 1949 constitution assembly finalize text of our constitution, then adopted by nation on 26^th january 1950, it took 2 years 11 months and 18 days for drafting of constitution.  

Main Features of Indian Constitution
1. Our founding fathers borrowed great constitutional principles from the foreign constitutions while avoiding their loopholes to ensure healthy political life to the citizens. 
2.Unlike other constitutions, the Indian constitution provides not only the basic law. It also provides very detailed and minute(basic level) administrative provisions.
3.the Indian constitution is an omnibus constitution. It is at the same time a constitution for the whole nation as well as for the component states of the Union.
4.it is a federal constitution ( for central as  well as state government)
5.it provides for parliamentary form of government both at the centre and in the states.
6.India’s constitution is far less rigid than a normal federal constitution. Truly, it is more flexible than rigid.
7. constitution guarantees fundamental rights of the citizens.
