All capitals cities of North-Eastern states to be connected with rail network by 2023

• The Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav has announced that Indian Railways has set the target to connect the capital cities of all the North-Eastern states of India to the rail network by 2023.

• In the present time, except Sikkim, all North-Eastern states have connectivity to the rail network. The capitals of Assam, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh are already connected to the railway network.

• The capital connectivity work is in progress in Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya. Manipur will be connected in March 2022, Mizoram in March 2023, Nagaland in March 2023, Meghalaya in March 2022 and Sikkim in December 2022.

Mobile App of “PM Street Vendor Atma Nirbhar Nidhi” launched

• The mobile application of PM Street Vendor’s Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) has been launched. It aims to offer user friendly digital interface to the Lending Institutions (LIs) as well as to their field functionaries in order to source and process loan applications to the street vendors under the scheme.

• The launch of the mobile app is a step towards boosting the use of digital technology and will ensure maximum coverage of the scheme.

• The mobile app will promote paper-less digital accessing of micro-credit facilities by the Street Vendors and will give impetus to the implementation strategy of the PM SVA Nidhi scheme.

Uttarakhand govt to generate electricity from waste

• The Uttarakhand government has decided to convert waste generated in the state to electricity under an initiative titled ‘Waste to Energy’.

• According to Uttarakhand Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board (UEPPCB), this waste can generate up to 5 megawatts of electricity and curb pollution.

• The scheme also aims to solve the problem of unavailability of landfills to dispose of the solid waste across the hill state with has 10 out if 13 districts as hill areas.

India lifted record 273 million out of poverty in 10 years, says UN report

• About 273 million Indians were lifted out of multidimensional poverty, over a period of 10 years, between 2005-2006 and 2015-2016, according to a study conducted by the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme.

• The study titled ‘Charting pathways out of multidimensional poverty: Achieving the SDGs’ was based on a global multidimensional poverty index (MPI) which annually measures the complexities of poor people’s lives, individually and collectively.

• The report noted that, India has recorded the largest reduction in the number of people living in poverty, among the 75 countries studied in MPI.

Ace para-badminton player and Arjuna Awardee Ramesh Tikaram passes away

• Ramesh Tikaram, a former star para-badminton player and an Arjuna awardee has passed away of C-19. He was 51.

• Ramesh was the first para-badminton player in India to be honoured with an Arjuna award in the year 2002.

Civil rights leader CordyTindell Vivian passes away

• A civil rights veteran, The Rev Cordy Tindell Vivian who worked alongside the Rev Martin Luther King Jr, passed away.

• He also led the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and became its interim president in 2012.

RBI Approves reappointment of Shyam Srinivasan as MD & CEO of Federal Bank

• Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the reappointment of Shyam Srinivasan as the the managing director and chief executive officer (MD & CEO) of the Kerala-based private sector lender, Federal Bank, till September 22, 2021.

Ossouka Raponda appointed as 1st woman PM of Gabon

• Rose Christiane Ossouka Raponda has been appointed as the first woman prime minister of Gabon. She is the 12th PM of the country and succeeds Julien Nkoghe Bekale.

• Prior to holding this position, Ossouka Raponda served as Defence Minister since February 2019.

पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों की सभी राजधानियों को वर्ष 2023 तक रेल नेटवर्क से जोड़ा जाएगा

रेलवे बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि ये बहुत महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाएं हैं और ये पिछले पांच वर्षों के दौरान रेलवे की कार्यसूची में प्रमुख रही हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि मणिपुर, नगालैंड और मेघालय की राजधानियों को जोड़ने का काम जारी है।

यादव ने कहा कि जम्‍मू-कश्‍मीर के सभी हिस्‍सों को रेलवे से जोड़ने का काम तेजी से जारी है और कटरा-बनिहाल रेल लिंक परियोजना दिसम्‍बर, 2022 तक पूरी हो जाएगी। उन्‍होंने कहा कि यह बहुत कठिन परियेाजना है और इसके अंतिम चरण में कई सारी दिक्‍कतें हैं।

उन्‍होंने बताया कि इस रेल परियोजना में बडी संख्‍या में पुलों और सुरंगों का निर्माण किया जाना है। कटरा से बनिहाल तक एक सौ दस किलोमीटर रेल लाइन का काम प्रगति पर है और दिसम्‍बर, 2022 तक इसका निर्माण कार्य पूरा करने का लक्ष्‍य रखा गया है।

केंद्र सरकार ने पीएम स्ट्रीट वेंडर आत्मनिर्भर निधि के तहत पीएम स्वनिधि मोबाइल ऐप लांच लांच किया

छोटे कारोबारियों को लोन मिलना अब बेहद आसान हो गया है। केंद्र सरकार ने पीएम स्ट्रीट वेंडर आत्मनिर्भर निधि के तहत पीएम स्वनिधि मोबाइल ऐप लांच किया है। आवास एवं शहरी कार्य मंत्रालय के सचिव दुर्गा शंकर मिश्रा ने ये ऐप जारी किया। मालूम हो कि इस ऐप को शुरू करने का उद्देश्य, स्ट्रीट वेंडरों के लिए लोन अप्लाई करने के प्रॉसेस को आसान बनाना है। इसके साथ ही लोन देने वाली संस्थाओं और उनके फील्ड में काम करने वाले कर्मचारियों में भी इस डिजिटल इंटरफेस के चलते काफी सहूलियत होगी।

प्रधानमंत्री स्वनिधि मोबाइल ऐप, डिजिटल टैक्नॉलाजी के इस्तेमाल को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में एक कदम है। इस ऐप के जरिए लोन देने वाली संस्थाओं के फील्ड में काम करने वाले कर्मचारियों जैसे बैंकिंग प्रतिनिधि (बीसी) और गैर-बैंकिंग वित्तीय कंपनियों (एनबीएफसी)/माइक्रो-फाइनेंस संस्थानों (एमएफआई) के एजेंटों के जरिए स्ट्रीट वेंडरों तक आसानी से लोन की सुविधा को पहुंचाया जा सकेगा। वहीं माना जा रहा है कि मोबाइल ऐप के जरिए स्ट्रीट वेंडरों को बिना किसी कागजी कार्रवाई के माइक्रो-क्रेडिट सुविधाओं के जरिए आसानी से लोन दिया जा सकेगा।

कचरे से बिजली बनाएगी उत्तराखंड सरकार

उत्तराखंड सरकार ने 'Waste to Energy' नामक एक पहल के तहत राज्य में उत्पन्न कचरे से बिजली बनाने का फैसला किया है। उत्तराखंड पर्यावरण संरक्षण और प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड (UEPPCB) के अनुसार, इस कचरे से 5 मेगावाट बिजली पैदा हो सकती है और प्रदूषण पर अंकुश लग सकता है। इस योजना का उद्देश्य पहाड़ी प्रदेश में ठोस कचरे के निपटान के लिए लैंडफिल की अनुपलब्धता की समस्या को हल करना है, प्रदेश में 13 में से 10 जिले पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों के अंतर्गत आते हैं।

राज्य सरकार के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, पहाड़ी राज्य में हर दिन 900 टन कचरा पैदा होता है। उत्पन्न कुल कचरे में से आधा प्रकृति में जैविक है, जबकि 17 प्रतिशत एक recyclable श्रेणी में आता है और इसके बाद 21 प्रतिशत जैव चिकित्सा अपशिष्ट और 11 प्रतिशत inert nature है जो material waste का निर्माण कर रहा है। पेट्रोलियम कोक पेटकोक भी कहा जाता है जो एक अंतिम ठोस उपोत्पाद है जो तेल शोधन प्रक्रिया से प्राप्त होता है और कार्बन में बहुत समृद्ध है।

भारत में एक दशक के दौरान सबसे अधिक 27.3 करोड़ लोगों ने गरीबी से पाई मुक्ति'

भारत में 2005-06 से लेकर 2015-16 के दौरान सबसे अधिक 27.3 करोड़ लोग गरीबी के दायरे से बाहर निकले हैं। यह इस दौरान किसी भी देश में गरीबों की संख्या में सर्वाधिक कमी है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र (UN) की एक रिपोर्ट में इसकी जानकारी दी गयी। संयुक्त राष्ट्र विकास कार्यक्रम (UNDP) और ऑक्सफोर्ड गरीबी एवं मानव विकास पहल (OPHI) द्वारा जारी किये गये आंकड़ों से पता चलता है कि 75 में से 65 देशों में 2000 से 2019 के बीच बहुआयामी गरीबी स्तर में काफी कमी आयी है।

बहुआयामी गरीबी दैनिक जीवन में गरीब लोगों द्वारा अनुभव किये जाने वाले विभिन्न अभावों को समाहित करती है, जैसे कि खराब स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा की कमी, जीवन स्तर में अपर्याप्तता, काम की खराब गुणवत्ता, हिंसा का खतरा और ऐसे क्षेत्रों में रहना जो पर्यावरण के लिए खतरनाक हैं। इन 65 देशों में से 50 ने भी गरीबी में रहने वाले लोगों की संख्या को कम किया है।

दिग्गज पैरा बैडमिंटन प्लेयर रमेश टीकाराम का C-19 वायरस की वजह से निधन

अर्जुन अवॉर्ड विनर और दिग्गज पैरा बैडमिंटन प्लेयर रमेश टीकाराम (Ramesh Tikaram) की गुरुवार को एक अस्पताल में C-19 वायरस संक्रमण की वजह से मौत हो गई। भारतीय पैरा बैडमिंटन के अध्यक्ष एनसी सुधीर ने यह जानकारी दी। सुधीर ने बयान में कहा, ‘हमें यह सूचित करते हुए दुख है कि रमेश टीकाराम का आज दोपहर निधन हो गया।

सुधीर ने पीटीआई को बताया कि 51 साल के टीकाराम को बुखार और खांसी थी और उन्हें 29 जून को निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। उन्होंने बताया कि टीकाराम के परिवार में पत्नी के अलावा 2 बच्चे हैं। टीकाराम के दोस्त केवाई वेंकटेश ने बताया कि इस खिलाड़ी ने 2001 में देश में अंतरराष्ट्रीय पैरा बैडमिंटन टूर्नामेंट को लाने में अहम भूमिका निभाई थी।

अमेरिका में नागरिक अधिकारों के लिए लड़ने वाले सांसद जॉन लुइस का निधन

नागरिक अधिकारों के लिए आंदोलन करने वाले सांसद जॉन लुइस का निधन हो गया। वह 80 साल के थे। प्रतिनिधि सभा की अध्यक्ष नैंसी पेलोसी ने शुक्रवार देर रात लुइस के निधन की पुष्टि की और उन्हें अमेरिकी इतिहास के सबसे बड़े नायकों में से एक बताया। बता दें कि लुइस के निधन से कुछ घंटे पहले ही एक अन्य नागरिक अधिकार नेता सीटी विवियन का निधन हुआ था।

पेलोसी ने कहा कि सांसद लुइस जैसा सहकर्मी होना हमारे लिए सम्मान की बात है। हम उनके निधन से बहुत दु:खी हैं। सीनेटर मिच मैकोनल ने भी लुइस के निधन पर शोक जताया। लुइस ने दिसंबर 2019 में कैंसर से पीड़ित होने की घोषणा की थी। लुइस नागरिक अधिकारों के लिए आंदोलन करने वाले 'बिग सिक्स' नागरिक अधिकार कार्यकर्ताओं में से एक थे। आंदोलन करने वाले समूह का नेतृत्व मार्टिन लूथ किंग जूनियर ने किया था।

नियुक्ति और इस्तीफे

फेडरल बैंक को RBI से मिली श्याम श्रीनिवासन को फिर MD-CEO नियुक्त करने की मंजूरी

फेडरल बैंक ने कहा है कि उसे 22 सितंबर 2021 तक प्रबंध निदेशक (एमडी) एवं मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ) के रूप में श्याम श्रीनिवासन की फिर से नियुक्ति के लिये भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) की मंजूरी मिल गई है।

श्रीनिवासन ने 23 सितंबर 2010 को बैंक के एमडी एवं सीईओ के रूप में कार्यभार संभाला था। फेडरल बैंक ने शेयर बाजारों को बताया कि उसे श्याम श्रीनिवासन की पुनर्नियुक्ति के लिये 16 जुलाई 2020 को रिजर्व बैंक से मंजूरी मिली।

यह उनके मौजूदा कार्यकाल के पूरा होने की तिथि यानी 23 सितंबर 2020 से 22 सितंबर 2021 तक प्रभावी होगी। वह भारत, पश्चिम एशिया और दक्षिण पूर्वी एशिया में अग्रणी बहुराष्ट्रीय बैंकों के साथ 20 वर्षों का अनुभव लेकर फेडरल बैंक में शामिल हुए थे।

Gabon की पहली महिला PM बनीं Ossouka Raponda

Rose Christiane Ossouka Raponda को Gabon की पहली महिला प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है।वह देश की 12 वीं पीएम हैं और Julien Nkoghe Bekale का स्थान ग्रहण करेंगी।

इस पद को संभालने से पहले, फरवरी 2019 को Ossouka Raponda ने रक्षा मंत्री का पद संभाला था। उनकी नियुक्ति Gabon के राष्ट्रपति Ali Bongo Ondimba ने की है, जनवरी 2019 से किया गया यह चौथा कैबिनेट फेरबदल है।

PM Modi to address ECOSOC on 75th anniversary of UN

• PM Narendra Modi will be virtually addressing the session of Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) on 17th July on the occasion of 75th anniversary of the United Nations.

• This will be PM Modi's first speech at the UN after being elected to the UN Security Council. Besides the Prime Minister, Norway PM Erna Solberg and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will also be addressing the event.

• The theme of the High-Level Segment which is held annually by ECOSOC is “Multilateralism after C-19: What kind of UN do we need at the 75th anniversary”.

DRDO developed fully indigenous P7 Heavy Drop System for IL 76 aircraft

• Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed the P7 Heavy Drop System which is capable of para dropping military stores up to 7-ton weight class from IL 76 aircraft.

• The design of this fully indigenous system has been developed by Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment (ADRDE), a pioneer Research & Development (R&D) lab of DRDO based in Agra, Uttar Pradesh (UP).

• It’s platform system manufactured by L&T (Larsen & Toubro) while parachutes manufactured by Ordnance Factory.

Indian Railways first cable-stayed bridge ‘AnjiKhad Bridge’ being set up in Jammu & Kashmir

• India’s first cable-stayed railway bridge ‘AnjiKhad bridge ‘is being constructed by the Indian Railways’ in Jammu & Kashmir to connect Katra and Reasi Section of Jammu–Baramulla line.

• The Rs. 458 crore railway bridge is being developed by Konkan Railway Corporation Limited, a Government of India undertaking.

• The total length of the AnjiKhad Bridge is 473.25 metres, standing at a height of 331 metres above the Chenab river bed.

ICRA Predicts India’s GDP to Contract 9.5% in FY21

• Credit Rating agency ICRA has sharply revised the GDP forecast for India and expects the Indian economy to contract by 9.5% (-9.5%) in 2020-21. Earlier it had projected the GDP at -5% for FY21.

• The increasing C-19 infections, leading to localised C-19s in some states and cities, affecting the economic activities is the main reason for this sharp revision.

CPJ International Press Freedom Award 2020 announced

• The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) has announced the recipients of the International Press Freedom Awards 2020 include Shahidul Alam from Bangladesh, Mohammad Mosaed from Iran, Dapo Olorunyomi from Nigeria and Svetlana Prokopyeva from Russia.

• All four journalists have faced arrests or criminal prosecution in reprisal for their reporting. In addition to them, lawyer Amal Clooney will be honoured with the Gwen Ifill Press Freedom Award 2020.

• The Federation International de Football Association announced that the 2022 World Cup is to be held in Qatar.

UN की 75 वीं वर्षगांठ पर ECOSOC को संबोधित करेंगे PM मोदी
• पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी संयुक्त राष्ट्र की 75 वीं वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर 17 जुलाई को आर्थिक और सामाजिक परिषद (ECOSOC) के सत्र को संबोधित करेंगे।
• संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद में चुने जाने के बाद यह संयुक्त राष्ट्र में पीएम मोदी का पहला भाषण होगा। प्रधानमंत्री के अलावा नॉर्वे के पीएम एर्ना सोलबर्ग और संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरेस भी इस कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करेंगे।
• ईसीओएसओसी द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष आयोजित किए जाने वाले उच्च-स्तरीय सेगमेंट का विषय "C-19 के बाद बहुपक्षवाद है: 75 वीं वर्षगांठ पर हमें किस तरह के यूएन की आवश्यकता है"।

DRDO ने विकसित किया पी-7 हेवी ड्रॉप सिस्टम, 7 टन के भार को विमान से गिराने में सक्षम
रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन (DRDO) ने पी-7 हेवी ड्रॉप सिस्टम (P7 Heavy Drop System) विकसित किया है। इसके जरिए 7-टन वजन तक के सैन्य उपकरणों को आईएल 76 विमान से नीचे गिराया जा सकेगा। पी-7 हैवी ड्रॉप सिस्टम की मदद से दुर्गम स्थलों पर सैन्य वाहनों (सात टन वजन तक के) को उतारा जा सकेगा। इससे दुश्मन को मुंहतोड़ जवाब दिया जा सकेगा।
बुधवार को आगरा के मलपुरा स्थित ड्रॉपिंग जोन में इसका ट्रायल किया गया। यह ट्रायल कई मायने में बेहतरीन है।यह उपलब्धि हवाई वितरण अनुसंधान एवं विकास संस्थापन (एडीआरडीई) हासिल कर रहा है। एडीआरडीई ने कुछ साल पूर्व हैवी ड्रॉप सिस्टम विकसित किया था। पैराशूट की मदद से पांच टन तक के वजन के सामान को जमीन पर आसानी से उतारा जा सकता है जबकि, अब सात टन वजन के सामान को उतारने के लिए पी-7 हैवी ड्रॉप सिस्टम विकसित किया जा रहा है।

भारत का पहला केबल-स्टेन्ड रेलवे ब्रिज अंजीखड़ पुल का निर्माण किया जा रहा
• जम्मू-कश्मीर के कटरा और रियासी खंड को जम्मू-बारामूला लाइन से जोड़ने के लिए भारतीय रेलवे द्वारा भारत का पहला केबल-स्टेन्ड रेलवे ब्रिज अंजीखड़ पुल का निर्माण किया जा रहा है।
• भारत सरकार के उपक्रम कोंकण रेलवे कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड द्वारा 458 करोड़ के रेलवे पुल का विकास किया जा रहा है।
• अंजीखड़पुल की कुल लंबाई 473.25 मीटर है, जो चिनाब नदी के तल से 331 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर है।

बैंकिंग और अर्थव्यवस्था

चालू वित्त वर्ष में 9.5 फीसदी घट सकती है भारत की जीडीपी: ICRA
रेटिंग एजेंसी ICRA ने भारत की जीडीपी ग्रोथ में भारी कमी की है, देश में C-19 के बढ़ते संक्रमण को रोकने के लिए किए गए C-19 की वजह से अर्थव्यवस्था पर काफी चोट पड़ी है और इस दौर में भारत के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद में काफी कमी आ सकती है। रेटिंग एजेंसी ने कहा है कि भारत की जीडीपी विकास दर चालू वित्त वर्ष में -9.5 फीसदी रह सकती है।
घरेलू रेटिंग एजेंसी इकरा ने चालू कारोबारी साल में देश की जीडीपी में गिरावट के अपने अनुमान को और बढ़ा दिया है। एजेंसी ने कहा है कि चालू कारोबारी साल में देश की जीडीपी में 9.5 फीसदी की गिरावट आ सकती है।
रेटिंग एजेंसी ने इससे पहले चालू कारोबारी साल में देश की जीडीपी में 5 फीसदी गिरावट का अनुमान जताया था। ICRA ने हालांकि कहा है कि चालू कारोबारी साल में कृषि जीवीए में 3.5-4 फीसदी की वृद्धि हो सकती है।

सीपीजे इंटरनेशनल प्रेस स्वतंत्रता पुरस्कार 2020 की घोषणा की
• कमेटी टू प्रोटेक्ट जर्नलिस्ट (CPJ) ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रेस स्वतंत्रता पुरस्कार 2020 के विजेताओं की घोषणा की है जिसमें बांग्लादेश से शाहिदुल आलम, ईरान से मोहम्मद मोसेद, नाइजीरिया से डापो ओलरुन्योमी और रूस से स्वेतलाना प्रोकोपोवा शामिल हैं।
• सभी चार पत्रकारों को उनकी रिपोर्टिंग के लिए प्रतिशोध में गिरफ्तारी या आपराधिक मुकदमा का सामना करना पड़ा है। उनके अलावा, वकील अमल क्लूनी को ग्वेन इफिल प्रेस फ्रीडम अवार्ड 2020 से सम्मानित किया जाएगा।

कतर में 2022 फीफा विश्व कप आयोजित किया जाएगा
15 जुलाई, 2020 को फीफा ने घोषणा की कि 2022 विश्व कप कतर में आयोजित किया जायेगा। फीफा ने मैचों की अनुसूची भी जारी की।
2022 का फीफा विश्व कप अरब विश्व में आयोजित होने वाला पहला विश्व कप होगा और मुस्लिम बहुल देश में पहला भी होगा। विश्व कप 32 टीमों को शामिल करने वाला अंतिम टूर्नामेंट होगा क्योंकि 2026 टूर्नामेंट में टीमों को 48 तक बढ़ाया जायेगा।
यह टूर्नामेंट नवंबर-दिसंबर में होना है। टूर्नामेंट का अंतिम मैच 18 दिसंबर, 2020 को निर्धारित किया गया है, जो कतर नेशनल डे भी है।
भारत ने कभी फीफा विश्व कप में भाग नहीं लिया। भारतीय राष्ट्रीय टीम 2019 में जारी नवीनतम फीफा रैंकिंग में 108 रैंक पर है। भारतीय फुटबॉल टीम ने एएफसी एशियाई कप और ओलंपिक में भाग लिया है।

• The UNICEF INDIA has entered into partnership with the Socio Economic Development Foundation (SEDF) of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), to co-develop #Reimagine Campaign.

• The #Reimagine Campaign of UNICEF aims to support the most vulnerable populations and children during the C-19 response and its after-math in India.

IIT Kanpur develops UV sanitizing device ‘SHUDH’ to disinfect room in 15 mins

• A team of engineers at IIT Kanpur has developed an Ultraviolet (UV) sanitizing product named SHUDH, which is capable to disinfect a 10 sqft room in about 15 minutes.

• SHUDH stands for Smartphone operated Handy Ultraviolet Disinfection Helper. It has been jointly developed by J. Ramkumar, Amandeep Singh and ShivamSachan.

• SHUDH has six UV lights of 15 Watts each that can be individually monitored from a distance and can be rotated up to 360 degrees. Users can use the number of lights based upon the size of the room.

India launches World’s Most Affordable C-19 kit “COROSURE”

• The Union Minister of Human Resource and Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishnak launched world’s most affordable C-19 kit. The kit was developed by IIT Delhi.

• The test called “COROSURE” has been billed as the world’s most affordable RT-PCR based C-19 diagnostic kit. The base price of the kit is Rs 399.

DCGI approves India’s 1st homemade Pneumonia vaccine

• India’s first fully indigenously developed Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Conjugate Vaccine (Pneumonia vaccine) has received the approval from Drug Controller General of India (DCGI).

• It will be utilized for active immunization against invasive disease and pneumonia caused by “Streptococcus pneumonia” among infants.

यूनिसेफ इंडिया ने #Reimagine कैंपेन के लिए फिक्की के साथ की साझेदारी

यूनिसेफ इंडिया ने फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन चैंबर्स ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री (फिक्की), सोसिओ-इकनोमिक डेवलपमेंट फाउंडेशन (SEDF) के साथ संयुक्त रूप से यूनिसेफ के #Reimagine अभियान को तैयार करने के लिए समझौता किया है। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य भारत में C-19 प्रतिक्रिया और उसके बाद की परिस्थिति के दौरान सबसे कमजोर वर्ग और बच्चों की मदद करना है। साथ ही यह व्यापार के संचालन के साथ-साथ रोजगार व्यवस्था को संभावित दीर्घकालिक नुकसान से बचने में भी मदद करेगा।

FICCI और SEDF, यूनिसेफ इंडिया अभियान में सहयोग देने के लिए C-19 व्यवधान के कारण प्रभावित सबसे कमजोर आबादी के लिए सहायता करने के लिए धन जुटाने के लिए नकदी और कोर संपत्ति जैसे अपने संसाधनों का लाभ उठाएगा। इसके अलावा यह अभियान के लिए समर्थन जुटाने के लिए अपने सदस्यता बेस का भी इस्तेमाल करेगा।

IIT कानपुर ने यूवी सैनिटाइजिंग डिवाइस 'SHUDH' किया विकसित

IIT कानपुर ने स्मार्टफ़ोन ऑपरेटेड हैंडी अल्ट्रावॉयलेट कीटाणुशोधन हेल्पर (SHUDH) नामक एक अल्ट्रावायलेट (यूवी) सैनिटाइजिंग डिवाइस विकसित किया है। इस डिवाइस में 15 वाट की 6 यूवी लाइट्स हैं जिन्हें दूर से ही व्यक्तिगत रूप से मॉनिटर किया जा सकता है। इसके प्रारंभिक परीक्षण के दौरान सामने आया है कि इस डिवाइस का एक बार पूरी तरह से संचालन करने पर लगभग 15 मिनट में 10x10 वर्ग फुट के कमरे को कीटाणुरहित किया जा सकता है।

SHUDH को अस्पतालों, होटलों, मॉल, कार्यालयों और स्कूलों जैसे सबसे ज्यादा जोखिम भरे स्थानों पर c-19 के प्रसार को रोकने में सहायक हो सकता है। उपलब्ध स्मार्टफोन पर इसकी एंड्रॉइड एप्लिकेशन इंस्टॉल करके इसे ऑन / ऑफ, गति और स्थान को दूर रहकर नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है।

भारत ने लॉन्च की विश्व की सबसे किफायती C-19 किट “COROSURE”

केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन और विकास मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक ने दुनिया की सबसे सस्ती C-19 किट लॉन्च की। इस किट को आईआईटी दिल्ली द्वारा विकसित किया गया है।

“COROSURE” नामक टेस्ट को दुनिया की सबसे सस्ती RT-PCR आधारित C-19 नैदानिक किट के रूप में प्रस्तुत किया गया है। इस किट का आधार मूल्य 399 रुपये है।

किट बनाने के लिए करीब 10 कंपनियों को लाइसेंस दिए गए हैं। किट तैयार करने की तकनीक आईआईटी दिल्ली द्वारा कंपनियों को हस्तांतरित की जाएगी।

इंडियन काउंसिल ऑफ मेडिकल रिसर्च के अनुसार, किट के साथ भारत की परीक्षण क्षमता प्रति दिन 20 लाख तक जाने की सम्भावना है। वर्तमान में भारत प्रति दिन 3 लाख परीक्षण कर रहा है।

इस विधि की परीक्षण लागत बहुत कम है क्योंकि किट परीक्षण का संचालन करने के लिए एक जांच-मुक्त विधि का उपयोग करती है।

इस किट से भारत को अपने आत्म निर्भर भारत अभियान को प्राप्त करने में भी मदद मिलेगी क्योंकि किट को स्वदेशी रूप से विकसित किया जाना है।

भारत में बनी पहली न्यूमोनिया की पूरी तरह स्वदेशी वैक्सीन को मिली DCGI की हरी झंडी

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के अनुसार Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) ने न्यूमोनिया के लिए भारत में बने पहले पूरी तरह से स्वदेशी टीके यानी वैक्सीन को अपनी मंजूरी दे दी है। रेगुलेटरी बोर्ड ने Special Expert Committee (SEC) के साथ मिलकर Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Conjugate वैक्सीन के पहले, दूसरे और तीसरे चरण के क्लीनिकल ट्रायल में सामने आए डेटा की समीक्षा की, जिसके बाद इसे बाजार में लाने की मंजूरी दी गई है। इस वैक्सीन को पुणे की फर्म Serum Institute of India ने बनाया है। यह टीका इंट्रामस्कुलर यानी पेशियों में लगाए जाने वाला है।

मंत्रालय ने बताया कि वैक्सीन को न्यूमोनिया और नवजात शिशुओं में Streptococcus pneumonia के चलते होने वाले न्यूमोनिया में इसका इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा।

एयरोस्पेस एवं रक्षा विनिर्माण प्रौद्योगिकी सम्मेलन के 5वें संस्करण का हुआ आयोजन

रक्षा राज्य मंत्री श्रीपद येसो नाइक ने "एयरोस्पेस एवं रक्षा विनिर्माण प्रौद्योगिकी" सम्मेलन के 5वें संस्करण का उद्घाटन किया। इस सम्मेलन को ‘आत्म निर्भरत भारत मिशन’ के साथ भारत को सशक्त बनाने के विषय पर आयोजित किया गया था। इसे तमिलनाडु डेवलपमेंट एंड प्रमोशन सेंटर (TNTDPC), सोसायटी ऑफ इंडियन डिफेंस मैन्युफैक्चरर्स (SIDM) और भारतीय उद्योग परिसंघ (CII) द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से आयोजित किया गया।

रक्षा राज्य मंत्री श्री श्रीपद येस्सो नाइक ने सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि “भारत के एयरोस्पेस और रक्षा बाजार में विकास की खासी संभावनाएं हैं और वैश्विक स्तर पर प्रतिस्पर्धी तथा अग्रणी हब के रूप में विकसित होने, डिजाइन विनिर्माण, इंजीनियरिंग, प्रौद्योगिकी विकास वसेवाओं के सकल निर्यातक बनने के लिए इसके मूलभूत तत्व खासे मजबूत हैं।” भारत में एयरोस्पेस और रक्षा उद्योग 2030 तक 70 अरब डॉलर तक पहुंचने का अनुमान है।

Madhya Pradesh Tops in the Implementation of PM SVANidhi

• Madhya Pradesh has topped in implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) by sanctioning an interest-free loan of around Rs 15.50 crore to 15,500 street vendors in the state.

• PM SVANidhi is a central sector scheme to help and formalize the street vendors involved in small businesses across the country. The scheme is funded by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

DRDO develops P7 Heavy Drop System

• The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed P7 Heavy Drop System that is capable of para dropping military stores up to 7-ton weight class from IL 76 aircraft.

• The system is fully indigenous and is being manufactured by L&T who makes the platform system, parachutes manufactured by Ordnance Factory.

UK bans companies from sourcing 5G equipment from Huawei

• The United Kingdom has imposed a ban on its telecom companies from sourcing 5G equipment from Chinese telecom company Huawei. The announcement was made by UK’s Digital Secretary Oliver Dowden after a meeting chaired by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

• UK’s Digital Secretary informed the British parliament that from the end of this year, telecom providers must not buy any 5G equipment from Huawei. Under the new guideline, the British telecom operators will be required to remove all 5G-related equipment, supplied by Huawei, from their infrastructure by 2027.

• Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director, Mukesh Ambani has confirmed the Google will be Reliance Industries' new strategic partner. The announcement was made during the 43rd Annual General Meeting on July 15, 2020.

• The new strategic partner was introduced by Mr. Ambani after he mentioned all the entities that have invested in Jio Platforms. He informed that Google will invest 33,737 crores for a 7.7 percent stake in Jio Platforms.

• Reliance Jio in partnership with Google will develop an android-based smartphone operating system to increase access to smartphones. The main objective is to accelerate India's digital economy.

ADB appoints Ashok Lavasa as new Vice President

• Election Commissioner Ashok Lavasa has been appointed as the Vice President of the Asian Development Bank. The development comes just a few months before Lavasa was scheduled to take over as the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).

• In his new position, Ashok Lavasa will be looking after the Private Sector Operations and Public-Private Partnerships. Ashok Lavasa has more than two years left in his term at the Election Commission of India. He would have retired as the CEC in October 2022.

प्रधानमंत्री स्वनिधि योजना को लागू करने में मध्य प्रदेश हुआ सबसे आगे

स्ट्रीट वेंडर के लिए शुरू की गई आत्मनिर्भर निधि (प्रधानमंत्री स्वनिधि योजना) के कार्यान्वयन में मध्य प्रदेश अन्य राज्यों की तुलना में शीर्ष स्थान पर है।

इस योजना से वर्तमान में राज्य में 378 नगरीय निकायों लाभान्वित किया जा रहा है।

अब तक 8,70,330 स्ट्रीट वेंडरों ने योजना के तहत पंजीकरण कराया है, जिनमें से 1,76,000 स्ट्रीट वेंडर्स को पहचान पत्र और वेंडिंग सर्टिफिकेट जारी किए गए हैं।

इसके अलावा, राज्य में लगभग 15 करोड़ 50 लाख के ब्याज मुक्त ऋण के 15,500 केसो को मंजूरी दी गई है।

डीआरडीओ ने पी 7 हैवी ड्रॉप सिस्टम विकसित किया

डीआरडीओ ने पी 7 हैवी ड्रॉप सिस्टम विकसित किया है जो कि वायुसेना के 76 विमानों से 7 टन वजन वर्ग तक के सैन्य स्टोर को गिराने में सक्षम है।

डीआरडीओ ने कहा कि यह प्रणाली पूरी तरह से स्वदेशी है और एलएंडटी द्वारा निर्मित की जा रही है, जो कि प्लेटफॉर्म सिस्टम, ऑर्डनेंस फैक्ट्री द्वारा निर्मित पैराशूट से निर्मित है।

यह प्रणाली मेक इन इंडिया कार्यक्रम के तहत बनाई गई है।

“बल्क प्रोडक्शन क्लीयरेंस (BPC) को प्राप्त करने से पहले अनिवार्य आवश्यकता के हिस्से के रूप में, भारतीय सेना, IAF और ADRDE की संयुक्त टीम ने आगरा में आज दो सिस्टम पर सत्यापन परीक्षण किया, जिसे IL76 ac से 600 mtrs की ऊंचाई से 280 पर गिरा दिया गया था किमी प्रति घंटा की गति डीआरडीओ की एक विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, पांच बड़े आकार के पैराशूट (प्रत्येक 750 वर्गमीटर) के क्लस्टर की मदद से स्टोर सुरक्षित रूप से उतरा।

ब्रिटेन ने भी 5G नेटवर्क से चीनी कंपनी हुआवेई पर प्रतिबंध लगाया

भारत की ओर से टिकटॉक, लाइकी और यूसी ब्राउजर जैसे 59 चीनी ऐप पर बैन लगाने के बाद अब ब्रिटेन ने भी चीन को तगड़ा झटका देते हुए 5G नेटवर्क से चीनी कंपनी हुआवेई पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है। कंपनी ने इस फैसले को निराशाजनक बताया है।

समाचार एजेंसी रॉयटर्स को मीडिया सचिव ओलिवर डाउडेन ने मंगलवार को बताया कि ब्रिटिश प्रधानमंत्री बोरिस जॉनसन की सरकार ने 2027 तक दूरसंचार कंपनियों को अपने उपकरण हटाने का आदेश देकर ब्रिटेन के 5जी नेटवर्क से हुआवेई पर प्रतिबंध लगाने का ऐलान किया है।

ऑपरेटर्स इस साल के अंत से हुआवेई से 5G कंपोनेंट्स की खरीद नहीं कर सकेंगे और 2027 तक चीनी टेलीकॉम्स द्वारा 5G नेटवर्क से बनाए गए सभी मौजूदा हुआवेई गियर को हटाने के लिए कहा गया है।

ट्यूनीशिया के प्रधान मंत्री फखफख ने इस्तीफा दिया

• ट्यूनीशिया के प्रधान मंत्री, एलिस फखफख ने ट्यूनीशिया के राष्ट्रपति को अपना इस्तीफा सौंप दिया है।

आरआईएल की 43वीं एजीएम : गूगल ने भी किया जियो में निवेश

रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज (आरआईएल) की 43वीं बैठक में बुधवार को मुकेश अंबानी ने कई बड़े एलान किए। अंबानी आरआईएल के चेयरमैन एवं एमडी हैं।C-19 वायरस के संक्रमण को देखते हुए कंपनी ने वर्चुअल एजीएम का आयोजन किया। इस मौके पर अंबानी ने जियो प्लेटफॉर्म्स में गूगल के निवेश का भी एलान किया। उन्होंने कंपनी की भविष्य की योजनाओं के बारे में भी जानकारी दी। उन्होंने आरआईएल की उपलब्धियों का भी जिक्र किया। अंबानी ने कहा कि संकट के इस दौर में कारोबार को बहुत नुकसान पहुंचा है। दुनियाभर की अर्थव्यवस्था पर इसका असर पड़ा है। उन्होंने कहा, "मुझे इसके बाद भी यह भरोसा है कि हम C-19 को हराकर समृद्धि के दौर में पहुंचेंगे।

रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड की एनुअल जनरल मीटिंग का आयोजना जियोमीट के माध्यम से किया गया है। मुकेश अंबानी ने कहा, "अब तक 50 लाख से अधिक लोग जियोमीट को डाउनलोड कर चुके हैं।" उन्होंने कहा, "जियो मीट भारत का पहला और एकमात्र क्लाउड बेस्ड वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग एप है। सिर्फ दो महीने में ही जियो प्लेटफॉर्म की यंग टीम ने इसे तैयार किया है। इस एप की रिलीज के कुछ दिन बाद इसे 50 लाख लोगों द्वारा डाउनलोड कर लिया गया।

एडीबी ने चुनाव आयुक्त अशोक लवासा को नया उपाध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया

अशोक लवासा एडीबी में दिवाकर गुप्ता की जगह लेंगे जिनका कार्यकाल 31 अगस्त को समाप्त होगा। लवासा को जनवरी 2018 में चुनाव आयुक्त नियुक्त किया गया था।

बहुपक्षीय वित्त पोषण एजेंसी एशियाई विकास बैंक (एडीबी) ने बुधवार को कहा कि उसने चुनाव आयुक्त अशोक लवासा को निजी क्षेत्र और सार्वजनिक-निजी साझेदारी के क्षेत्र से जुड़े कामकाज के लिए अपना उपाध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है। लवासा एडीबी में दिवाकर गुप्ता की जगह लेंगे, जिनका कार्यकाल 31 अगस्त को समाप्त होने जा रहा है।

एडीबी ने एक बयान में कहा, ‘‘वह वर्तमान में भारत के चुनाव आयुक्तों में से एक हैं और पूर्व में भारत के केंद्रीय वित्त सचिव, पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय में सचिव और नागर विमानन मंत्रालय के सचिव सहित कई वरिष्ठ पदों पर काम कर चुके हैं।’’

Government to increase public health expenditure to 2.5% of GDP by 2025

• The Union Health Ministry has called for increased expenditure on public health. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan highlighted during a meeting with the 15th Finance Commission that the government aims to gradually increase the public health expenditure to 2.5 percent of the nation's GDP by 2025.

• The Minister asserted that the outlay for primary health expenditure will also be made nearly 2/3rd of the total public health expenditure in the country. The Health Minister further emphasized on the importance of increasing the state’s health sector spending to nearly 8 percent of their total budget.

• The Health Ministry has also revised its requirement of around 4.9 lakh crores to 6.04 lakh crores in the wake of the C-19. The Ministry has asked for additional resources for the states that will be utilized for the achievement of the National Health Policy targets.

Iran drops India from Chabahar rail project

• Iran has dropped India from Chabahar rail project which comprises rail line from Chabahar port to Zahedan, along the border with Afghanistan. The Iranian government cited delays from the Indian side in funding and starting the project, for its decision of dropping India from the project.

• Now, Iranian Railways will go ahead without India’s assistance and utilize around $400 million from the Iranian National Development Fund.

• Singapore has entered into the phase of economic recession after the country's GDP contracted by around 41.2 percent in last 3 months.

Reliance Industries becomes first Indian company to hit Rs. 12 lakh crore market cap

• Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has become the first Indian firm to hit a market capitalisation mark of Rs. 12 lakh crore. The shares price of the company surged to a record high of Rs. 1,947 on 13 July 2020, after which the Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 12.32 lakh crore.

• The increase in Reliance Industries m-cap comes after it secured deal with Qualcomm Ventures to invest in Jio Platforms for a 0.15 percent equity stake.This is the 13th deal secured by Jio Platforms in a span of 12 weeks, bringing the total funds raised by the company to Rs 1.18 lakh crore.

NABARD organised ‘Digital Choupal’ to mark its 39th foundation day

• National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) organised its first ‘Digital Choupal’ to mark its 39th foundation day. During the ‘Digital Choupal’ session, NABARD also announced Rs 5,000 crore of refinance scheme for banks and financial institutions.

• “Digital Choupal” was conducted in the form of a video conference which was attended by participants of different projects initiated by NABARD, to share their experiences about the projects they are involved in.

• Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chief, Kailasavadivoo Sivan has named for Von Karman Award 2020 by the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA).

• The Von Karman Award is known as the highest distinction of the IAA. Dr K. Sivan is going to receive an award in March 2021 at Paris France.

• Udupi Ramachandra Rao was the first Indian to receive the von Karman award.The award was presented to him in 2005 and Dr Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan received the Von Karman award in 2007.

2025 तक सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य व्यय को जीडीपी के 2.5% तक बढ़ाने का लक्ष्‍य

• केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य पर खर्च बढ़ाने का आह्वान किया है। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ हर्षवर्धन ने 15 वें वित्त आयोग के साथ बैठक के दौरान इस बात पर प्रकाश डाला कि सरकार का लक्ष्य 2025 तक सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य व्यय को धीरे-धीरे बढ़ाकर राष्ट्र के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद का 2.5 प्रतिशत करना है।

• मंत्री ने जोर देकर कहा कि प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य व्यय के लिए परिव्यय भी देश में कुल सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य व्यय का लगभग 2 / 3rd किया जाएगा। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने राज्य के स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र के खर्च को बढ़ाने के महत्व पर अपने कुल बजट का लगभग 8 प्रतिशत बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया।

• स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने C -19 के मद्देनजर अपनी आवश्यकता को लगभग 4.9 लाख करोड़ से संशोधित कर 6.04 लाख करोड़ कर दिया है। मंत्रालय ने उन राज्यों के लिए अतिरिक्त संसाधन मांगे हैं जिनका उपयोग राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य नीति के लक्ष्यों की प्राप्ति के लिए किया जाएगा।

ईरान ने चाबहार रेल परियोजना से बाहर कर भारत को दिया झटका

अमेरिकी दबाव में जब से भारत ने ईरान से तेल खरीदना बंद किया है उसी समय से दोनो देशों के रिश्तों में तनाव घुलने लगा था। अब ईरान ने इसका जवाब चाबहार से जाहेदान तक की महत्वपूर्ण रेल परियोजना से भारत को बाहर करके दिया है। इससे भारत की परेशानी की दो वजहें हैं। एक तो अफगानिस्तान के रास्ते मध्य एशियाई देशों तक कारोबार करने की भारत की रणनीति को गहरा धक्का लगा है।

ईरान ने संकेत दिए है कि समूचे चाबहार सेक्टर में चीन की कंपनियों को बड़ी भागीदारी निभाने का रास्ता साफ किया जा सकता है। ईरान ने कुछ दिन पहले ही चीन के साथ एक समझौता किया है जिसके तहत वहां चीनी कंपनियां अगले 25 वर्षो में 400 अरब डॉलर का भारी-भरकम निवेश करेंगी। ईरान के इस फैसले पर भारत सरकार ने आधिकारिक तौर पर कोई बयान नहीं दिया है। लेकिन जानकार मान रहे हैं कि ईरान का फैसला चाबहार पोर्ट के जरिए रणनीतिक हित साधने की कोशिशों को धक्का लगा है।

सिंगापुर मंदी की चपेट में, जीडीपी में 41.2 प्रतिशत की गिरावट

• सिंगापुर ने पिछले 3 महीनों में देश की जीडीपी के लगभग 41.2 प्रतिशत के अनुबंध के बाद आर्थिक मंदी के चरण में प्रवेश किया है।

• C-19 महामारी ने राष्ट्र की अर्थव्यवस्था पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव डाला है। यह घोषणा सिंगापुर के व्यापार और उद्योग मंत्रालय द्वारा की गई थी।

Reliance Industries 12 ट्रिलियन के बाजार पूंजीकरण वाली पहली भारतीय कंपनी बनी

रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड (RIL) सोमवार को 12 ट्रिलियन के बाजार पूंजीकरण तक पहुंचने वाली पहली भारतीय कंपनी बन गई, मार्च के मध्य से इसके शेयर दोगुने हो गए। कंपनी इस सप्ताह अपनी वार्षिक आम बैठक भी आयोजित करेगी। NSE पर सोमवार को इसके शेयर 2.79% बढ़ोतरी के साथ 1930 रुपये पर कारोबार करते नज़र आये। मार्च के मध्य से इसके शेयरों में 120% से अधिक की वृद्धि हुई है, जबकि इस वर्ष अब तक यह 25 फीसद बढ़ गया है। इस साल अप्रैल से RIL का शेयर 12 ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टर के निवेश के कारण पिछले साल के मुकाबले लगातार बढ़ रहा है।

क्वालकॉम इनकॉरपोरेट की इंवेस्टमेंट से जुड़ी इकाई क्वालकॉम वेंचर्स रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज के डिजिटल विंग Jio Platforms में 730 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश करेगी। इस निवेश के जरिए क्वालकॉम वेंचर्स RIL की डिजिटल इकाई की 0.15 फीसद हिस्सेदारी खरीदेगी।

नाबार्ड ने अपने 39 वें स्थापना दिवस को चिह्नित करने के लिए 'डिजिटल चौपाल' का आयोजन किया

• नेशनल बैंक फॉर एग्रीकल्चर एंड रूरल डेवलपमेंट (NABARD) ने अपने 39 वें स्थापना दिवस को चिह्नित करने के लिए अपना पहला 'डिजिटल चौपाल' आयोजित किया। डिजिटल चौपाल ’सत्र के दौरान, नाबार्ड ने बैंकों और वित्तीय संस्थानों के लिए 5,000 करोड़ रुपये की पुनर्वित्त योजना की भी घोषणा की।

• "डिजिटल चौपाल" एक वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस के रूप में आयोजित किया गया था जिसमें नाबार्ड द्वारा शुरू की गई विभिन्न परियोजनाओं के प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया था, ताकि वे उन परियोजनाओं के बारे में अपने अनुभव साझा कर सकें जिनमें वे शामिल हैं।

भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) के प्रमुख कैलाशवडिवु शिवन को इंटरनेशनल एकेडमी ऑफ एस्ट्रोनॉटिक्स (IAA) के वॉन कर्मन पुरस्कार 2020 के लिए चुना गया किया है। वॉन कर्मन पुरस्कार को IAA के सर्वोच्च सम्मान के रूप में जाना जाता है। डॉ के. शिवन को मार्च 2021 में पेरिस फ्रांस में इस पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाएगा।

BCCI ने हेमांग अमीन को बनाया अपना अंतरिम CEO

भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (BCCI) द्वारा हेमांग अमीन को अपना अंतरिम मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (CEO) नियुक्त किया गया है। वह राहुल जौहरी का स्थान लेंगे जिन्होंने हाल ही में बीसीसीआई के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ) के पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था और जिसे बीसीसीआई के पदाधिकारियों ने स्वीकार कर लिया गया था।

NITI Aayog presents India’s second Voluntary National Review at UN’s High-Level Political Forum

• NITI Aayog presented India’s second Voluntary National Review (VNR) at the United Nations High-level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development, 2020.It is organised annually in July for eight days under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the UN.

• The India VNR 2020 report was titled Decade of Action: Taking SDGs from Global to Local. The report was presented by Dr Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog.

• The HLPF is the foremost international platform for countries to present its follow-up and review of progress on achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

United States remains India’s top trading partner for 2nd consecutive year in 2019-20

• According to the data of the Union Ministry of Commerce, United States remained India’s top trading partner for the second consecutive fiscal in 2019-20. The recently released data shows increasing economic ties between the two nations.

• As per the data, the bilateral trade between the US and India has increased from $87.96 billion in 2018-19 to $88.75 billion in the fiscal year 2019-20. China was India’s top trading partner since 2013-14 to 2017-18.

Russia first nation to complete clinical trials of vaccine

• Russia has successfully completed the human trials of Chinese virus vaccine. With this, Russia has become the first country to complete the trials of C-19 vaccine.

Andrzej Duda wins Poland’s presidential election

• Andrzej Duda has been re-elected as the President of Poland. He won the presidential elections recently held in Poland after winning 51.21% of the votes, defeating the opposition candidate, liberal Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski who got 48.79% votes.Voter turnout was a record high at 68.12 percent.

• Google CEO Sundar Pichai has announced the launch of ‘Google for India Digitization Fund’. Through this fund, Google will be investing USD 10 billion or Rs. 75,000 crore in India over next 5-7 years.

• The investment comes amid the C-19 crisis that has deeply impacted the economy of India. The investment will be made through a mix of partnerships and equity investments.

FICCI survey predicts India’s GDP to contract by 4.5% in FY21

• Industry body FICCI has projected the Indian economy to contract by (-) 4.5 percent in 2020-21, as per its latest Economic Outlook Survey released on 12 July 2020.

नीति आयोग ने HLPF में प्रस्तुत की स्वैच्छिक राष्ट्रीय समीक्षा 2020 रिपोर्ट

नीति आयोग द्वारा सतत विकास, 2020 पर भारत की दूसरी स्वैच्छिक राष्ट्रीय समीक्षा (Voluntary National Review -VNR) रिपोर्ट, संयुक्त राष्ट्र के उच्च-स्तरीय राजनीतिक फोरम (United Nations High-level Political Forum) में प्रस्तुत की गई है। इस रिपोर्ट का शीर्षक "Decade of Action: Taking SDGs from Global to Local" है, और यह भारत में 2030 एजेंडा को अपनाने और लागू करने के लिए जिम्मेदार है।VNR एक महत्वपूर्ण घटक है जो 2030 एजेंडा और एसडीजी की प्रगति और कार्यान्वयन की समीक्षा करता है।

अमेरिका लगातार दूसरे साल 2019-20 में भी भारत का सबसे बड़ा व्यापार साझेदार बना रहा, जो दोनों देशों के बीच बढ़ते आर्थिक संबंधों को दर्शाता है। वाणिज्य मंत्रालय के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, 2019-20 में अमेरिका और भारत के बीच द्विपक्षीय व्यापार 88.75 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर रहा, जो 2018-19 में 87.96 अरब डॉलर था।

अमेरिका उन चुनिंदा देशों में एक है, जिनके साथ भारत का व्यापार अधिशेष है। आंकड़ों के अनुसार 2019-20 में दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार अंतर बढ़कर 17.42 अरब डॉलर भारत के पक्ष में रहा। 2018-19 में अधिशेष 16.86 अरब डॉलर था। अमेरिका 2018-19 में चीन को पीछे छोड़कर भारत का शीर्ष व्यापारिक साझेदार बन गया था।

• रूस ने चीनी वायरस वैक्सीन के मानव परीक्षणों को सफलतापूर्वक पूरा कर लिया है। इसके साथ, रूस सी -19 वैक्सीन के परीक्षणों को पूरा करने वाला पहला देश बन गया है।

• परीक्षण में भाग लेने वाले स्वयंसेवकों को जल्द ही छुट्टी दे दी जाएगी। परीक्षणों का उद्देश्य मानव स्वास्थ्य के लिए टीका की सुरक्षा को दर्शाना था।

पोलैंड के राष्ट्रपति अन्द्रेजज डूडा ने चुनाव जीता

पोलैड के राष्ट्रपति अन्द्रेजज डूडा ने विपक्षी सिविक प्लेटफार्म पार्टी के रफाल ट्राजाकोव्स्की को हराकर चुनाव में जीत हासिल की है। यह उनका दूसरा कार्यकाल होगा। देर तक हुए चुनाव में डूडा को 50.8 प्रतिशत और ट्राजाकोव्स्की को 49.2 प्रतिशत मत प्राप्त हुए। रविवार को मतगणना बंद होने के बाद डूडा अपने समर्थकों को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि वह विभिन्न राजनीतिक पार्टियों को गठबंधन बनाने के लिए आमंत्रित करते है। राष्ट्रीय निर्वाचन आयोग के प्रमुख सिल्वेस्टर मार्काटक के अनुसार रविवार चुनाव के आधिकारिक परिणाम सोमवार सुबह सामने आने की उम्मीद है। जून के अंत में चुनाव के पहले दौर में डूडा को 43.5 प्रतिशत, जबकि ट्रेजास्कॉस्की को 30.5 प्रतिशत हासिल हुए थे।

Google भारत में करेगी 75,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश

गूगल के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ) सुंदर पिचाई ने सोमवार को भारत में अगले पांच-सात साल में 75,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश करने की घोषणा की। कंपनी की ‘गूगल फॉर इंडिया' की पहल के तहत किए जाने वाले इस निवेश का मकसद देश में डिजिटलीकरण की प्रक्रिया को तेज करने में मदद करना है।

भारतीय मूल के पिचाई ने सोमवार सुबह प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ एक ऑनलाइल बैठक भी की। वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस के माध्यम से ‘गूगल फॉर इंडिया' कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए पिचाई ने इस निवेश की घोषणा की। उन्होंने कहा कि इसके लिए कंपनी ने ‘गूगल फॉर इंडिया डिजिटलीरण कोष' बनाया है। यह घोषणा भारत के भविष्य और उसकी डिजिटल अर्थव्यवस्था में कंपनी के भरोसे को दिखाती है।

उद्योग मंडल फिक्की का कहना है कि चालू वित्त वर्ष में भारत की सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) की वृद्धि दर नकारात्मक रहेगी। फिक्की के आर्थिक परिदृश्य सर्वे में अनुमान लगाया गया है कि 2020-21 में देश की अर्थव्यवस्था में 4.5 प्रतिशत नीचे जाएगी। सर्वे में कहा गया है कि C-19 वायरस के मामलों में तेजी से वृद्धि से दुनियाभर में आर्थिक और स्वास्थ्य संकट पैदा हो गया है। फिक्की के ताजा सर्वे में वृद्धि दर के अनुमान में नीचे की ओर बड़ा संशोधन किया गया है। फिक्की ने जनवरी, 2020 के सर्वे में 2020-21 में वृद्धि दर 5.5 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान लगाया था। C-19 वायरस पर काबू के लिए देशभर में लागू C-19 से आर्थिक गतिविधियां बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुई है।

• Qualcomm Ventures announced on July 12 that it has decided to invest Rs. 730 crore in Jio Platforms. Qualcomm Ventures which is an investment arm of Qualcomm Incorporated will make an investment for a 0.15% stake.

• With an announced investment, Qualcomm Ventures has become a 12th investor in Reliance Industries Ltd’s digital and telecom business in less than a time period of two months.

• The new investment by Qualcomm Ventures will take the total investments in Jio Platforms to Rs. 1,18,318.45 crore for a combined 25.24% holding.

छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार ने किया भारत की पहली ई-लोक अदालत का आयोजन

छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार द्वारा C-19 महामारी के बीच भारत की पहली ई-लोक अदालत का आयोजन किया गया है। ई-लोक अदालत के तहत ऑनलाइन लाइव सुनवाई वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए की गई। "ई-लोक अदालत" का आयोजन उच्च न्यायालय और छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण द्वारा किया गया और जिसका उद्घाटन छत्तीसगढ़ उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश पी आर रामचंद्र मेनन ने किया था।

लोगों को राहत पहुंचाने और मामलों की पेंडेंसी को कम करने के लिए C-19 महामारी के बीच "ई-लोक अदालत" का आयोजन किया गया था। "ई-लोक अदालत" के दौरान, राज्य भर के 23 जिलों की लगभग 200 बेंचों में 3,000 से अधिक मामलों की सुनवाई की गई।

अरुणाचल प्रदेश के फिल्म निर्माता केजंग डी थोंगडोक (Kezang D Thongdok) को उनकी शोर्ट डाक्यूमेंट्री "Chi Lupo" के लिए दादा साहेब फाल्के पुरस्कार 2020 दिया गया है। Chi Lupo, केजांग डी थोंगडोक द्वारा हनी हंटिंग (मधुमक्खी छत्तों से शहद इकठ्ठा करने का काम) पर बनाई गई एक शोर्ट डाक्यूमेंट्री है।

ची लूपो में शर्टुकपेन समुदाय में प्रचलित शहद के शिकार की परंपरा का वर्णन किया है जिसमें "ची" का अर्थ है शहद जबकि "लिपो" का अर्थ है शिकारी है। हनी हंटिंग की यह सदियों पुरानी परंपरा धीरे-धीरे समाप्त होती जा रही है। केजंग डी थोंगडोक ने हनी हंटिंग की स्वदेशी प्रथा की इस परंपरा को जीवित रखने के लिए, शहद के शिकार की पुरानी परंपरा पर डाक्यूमेंट्री बनाई है।

रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड (आरआईएल) के जियो प्लेटफॉर्म्स में एक और बड़ा निवेश हुआ है। वायरलेस टेक्नोलॉजीज सेक्टर की दिग्गज कंपनी क्वालकॉम इनकॉरपोरेटेड की इनवेस्टमेंट कंपनी क्वालकॉम वेंचर्स ने जियो में 730 करोड़ रुपये निवेश करने का एलान किया है। इस सौदे के लिए जियो की इक्विटी वैल्यू 4.91 लाख करोड़ रुपये आंकी गई है। क्वालकॉम वेंचर्स जियो प्लेटफॉर्म में 0.15 प्रतिशत की हिस्सेदारी लेगी। 12 सप्ताह के भीतर जियो प्लेटफार्मों में यह 13वां निवेश है।

क्वालकॉम के निवेश के साथ जियो अब तक तक 118,318.45 करोड़ रुपये जुटा चुकी है। जियो प्लेटफार्म में निवेश की शुरुआत फेसबुक ने की थी। फेसबुक ने करीब 44 हजार करोड़ रुपये का निवेश कर 9.99 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी खरीदी है। फेसुबक के बाद सिल्वर लेक पार्टनर्स (दो निवेश), विस्टा इक्विटी पार्टनर्स, जनरल अटलांटिक, केकेआर, मुबादला, एडीआईए, टीपीजी, एल कैटरटन, पीआईफ और इंटेल कैपिटल कंपनी में निवेश कर चुके हैं।

भारत के सबसे अमीर शख्स और रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज के चेयरमैन मुकेश अंबानी बर्कशायर हैथवे के वॉरेन बफे, गूगल के लैरी पेज और Serge Brin को पीछे छोड़ अब दुनिया के सातवें सबसे अमीर शख्स बन गए हैं। दुनिया के टॉप-10 अमीरों की सूची में पूरे एशिया से मुकेश अंबानी का नाम है। फोर्ब्स के मुताबिक, उनकी कुल संपत्ति 70 अरब डॉलर पर पहुंच गई है।

All India Tiger Census 2018 sets new Guinness World Record for largest camera-trap wildlife survey

• The fourth edition of the All India Tiger Estimation 2018 has created the Guinness World Record for being the world’s largest camera trap wildlife survey.

• The All India Tiger Estimation is conducted every four year since 2006, by the National Tiger Conservation Authority with technical support from the Wildlife Institute of India.

• These cameras surveyed an effective area of 121,337 square kilometres (46,848 square miles).A total of 34,858,623 photographs of wildlife were captured by the 26,838 camera traps installed. Of the total photographs 76,651 were tigers and 51,777 were leopards while the remaining were other native fauna.

• At a virtual event, White Papers prepared by the Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC) was launched by Dr. Harsh Vardhan (Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare) on 10th July 2020.

भारतीय प्रतिभूति एवं विनिमय बोर्ड (सेबी) ने म्यूचुअल फंड उद्योग के विनियमन और विकास से संबंधित मामलों पर उसे सलाह देने वाली समिति का पुनर्गठन किया है। सेबी ने बताया कि म्युचुअल फंडों से संबंधित 20 सदस्यीय सलाहकार समिति की प्रमुख उषा थोराट हैं, जो भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) की पूर्व डिप्टी गवर्नर हैं। इससे पहले 2013 में गठित इस समिति में 15 सदस्य थे और इसके अध्यक्ष एसबीआई के पूर्व चेयरमैन जानकी बल्लभ थे। समिति के सदस्यों में फ्रैंकलिन टेम्पलटन एसेट मैनेजमेंट (इंडिया) प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के अध्यक्ष संजय सप्रे, कोटक महिंद्रा एएमसी के एमडी नीलेश शाह और केनरा रोबेको एएमसी के सीईओ रजनीश नरूला, एसबीआई म्यूचुअल फंड के स्वतंत्र न्यासी सुनील गुलाटी और मोतीलाल ओसवाल म्यूचुअल म्युचुअल फंड के स्वतंत्र न्यासी निदेशक बृज गोपाल डागा जैसे विभिन्न फंड हाउस के अधिकारी शामिल हैं। इसके अलावा वैल्यू रिसर्च इंडिया के सीईओ धीरेंद्र कुमार, एलएंडटी इनवेस्टमेंट मैनेजमेंट के सीईओ कैलाश कुलकर्णी, एमएंडएम के कार्यकारी उपाध्यक्ष के एन वैद्यनाथन, बीएसई के एमडी और सीईओ आशीष चौहान, एसपीजेआईएमआर में प्राध्यपक अनंत नारायण और भारतीय म्यूचुअल फंड संघ के सीईओ एन एस वेंकटेश भी समिति में शामिल हैं।

सिंगापुर (Singapore) में हुए आम चुनाव में प्रचंड बहुतमत के साथ एक बार फिर से प्रधानमंत्री ली सिएन लूंग (Lee Hsien Loong) की पीपुल्स एक्शन पार्टी (PAP) ने सत्ता हासिल कर ली है। उनकी इस जीत पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) ने उन्हें बधाई दी है। पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि आम चुनाव में सफलता के लिए प्रधानमंत्री ली सियन लूंग को बधाई। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने सिंगापुर के लोगों को शांतिपूर्ण और समृद्ध भविष्य की शुभकामनाएं दी।

विश्व जनसंख्या दिवस: 11 जुलाई

प्रत्येक वर्ष 11 जुलाई को विश्व स्तर पर World Population Day यानि विश्व जनसंख्या दिवस मनाया जाता है। यह दिन बढ़ती जनसंख्या और लैंगिक समानता, परिवार नियोजन के महत्व, गरीबी, मातृ स्वास्थ्य, मानव अधिकार, आदि जैसे मुद्दों के बारे में लोगों को जागरूक करने के लिए मनाया जाता है।

इस वर्ष के विश्व जनसंख्या दिवस 2020 का विषय: Putting the brakes on C-19: Safeguarding the health and rights of women and girls.

विश्व जनसंख्या दिवस को मनाने की शुरुआत साल 1989 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र विकास कार्यक्रम (United National Development Programme) की गवर्निंग काउंसिल द्वारा की गई थी, उस समय विश्व की जनसंख्या लगभग 500 करोड़ थी।

World Malala Day: संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने युवा कार्यकर्ता मलाला यूसुफजई के योगदान को सम्मानित करने के लिए 12 जुलाई को विश्व मलाला दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया है। मलाला दिवस को दुनिया भर में महिलाओं और बच्चों के अधिकारों का सम्मान करने के लिए मलाला यूसुफजई के जन्मदिन के दिन मनाया जाता है।

लड़कियों की शिक्षा के लिए सार्वजनिक रूप से आवाज उठाने वाली मलाला पर तालिबान बंदूकधारियों द्वारा 9 अक्टूबर 2012 को गोली चलाई गई थी। हमले में गंभीर रूप से घायल होने के बावजूद, मलाला जल्द ही स्वस्थ होकर लोगों के बीच लौटी और पहले की तुलना में उनके विचारों में उग्रता दिखाई दी और लिंग अधिकारों के लिए उनकी वकालत की। उन्होंने एक गैर-लाभकारी संस्था मलाला फंड की स्थापना की है, जो युवा लड़कियों को स्कूल जाने में मदद करने और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बेस्टसेलर "I Am Malala" नामक पुस्तक की सह-लेखिका भी है।

दलाई लामा के जीवन पर लिखी गई ‘His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama: An Illustrated Biography’ शीर्षक पुस्तक का विमोचन 2020 में किया जाएगा। इस पुस्तक को रोली बुक्स द्वारा प्रकाशित किया गया है। यह पुस्तक दलाई लामा के सबसे करीबी सहयोगियों में से एक माने जाने वाले और 40 से अधिक वर्षों सलाहकार रहे लेखक तेनजिन गेये टेथॉन्ग (Tenzin Geyche Tethong) द्वारा लिखी गई हैं। यह बायोग्राफी 14 वें दलाई लामा, तेनजिन ग्यात्सो की यादगार यात्रा का वृतांत है।

• इस पुस्तक में लगभग 400 अनदेखी तस्वीरें और अप्रकाशित दस्तावेज, अभिलेखीय सामग्री के साथ-साथ उनके करीबियों की यादें भी शामिल हैं ताकि उनके निर्वासन, उनके सहानुभूतिपूर्ण ढंग और समग्र जन्मभूमि, तिब्बत के साथ मौजूदा विवादित रिश्ते को चित्रित किया जा सके।

Govt launches AI-based ASEEM digital platform

• The Ministry of Skilled Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) on July 10 launched Aatamanirbhar Skilled Employee Employer Mapping (ASEEM) digital portal which will help skilled people find sustainable livelihood opportunities.

• The step will improve the information flow and will bridge the demand-supply gap in the skilled workforce market. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) based system apart from recruiting the skilled workforce will also help in exploring job opportunities.

• ASEEM is developed and managed by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in collaboration with the Bangalore based company, Betterplace which specializes in blue-collar employee management.

Asia’s Largest and World’s Second Largest Data Centre Inaugurated In Mumbai

• Union Minister for Communications, Electronics and IT, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad and Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray jointly inaugurated the second-largest Tier IV data centre of the world in Mumbai.

• The world-class ‘Yotta NM1 data centre’ building has been set up at Mumbai’s Panvel data center park, to cater to the needs of engineering and real estate businesses.

• It is the largest of its kind data centre in India and Asia, as well as the second largest in the world. The Yotta NM1 facility has been developed and owned by the Hiranandani Group through its fully owned subsidiary, the Yotta Infrastructure Group. The Yotta NM1 offers 7200 racks and 50MW of power with 48-hour backup.

India’s GDP to contract by 3% in FY21: BofA

• The US brokerage firm BofA Securities has projected the India’s GDP to contract by 3 percent in FY21 because of the C-19 C-19, assuming the economy is opened up fully from August 2020.

• The GDP is likely to grow at 9 percent in FY22, expects BofA, the multinational investment bank division under the auspices of Bank of America.

• Amazonia – 1 will help in observing and monitoring the deforestation in the region of Amazon through the satellite images.

• The incumbent Prime Minister of Ivory Coast, Amadou Gon Coulibaly, passed away on 8th July 2020. He was 61.

• Coulibaly was a candidate for president in a coming election, to be held in October. He took over as the 10th PM of the country in January 2017.

Legendary musician Charlie Daniels passes away

• Country Music Hall of Fame musician, Charlie Daniels passed away. He was country music and southern rock icon who entertained fans for decades with songs like “Long-Haired Country Boy,” “In America,” and his signature fiddle tune “The Devil Went Down To Georgia”, who won his only Grammy Award in 1979.

• He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016.

कौशल विकास और उद्यमिता मंत्रालय द्वारा आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) - आधारित "आत्मनिर्भर स्किल्ड एम्प्लॉई मैपिंग (ASEEM)" डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म को शुरू किया गया है। इस मंच का उद्देश्य रोजगार क्षेत्रों में कुशल कार्यबल की मांग-आपूर्ति के अन्तर को कम करना और सूचना प्रवाह में सुधार करना है। क्षेत्रों और स्थानीय उद्योग की मांगों के आधार पर श्रमिकों का विवरण पोर्टल द्वारा पर डाला जाएगा।

ASEEM पोर्टल स्थायी आजीविका के अवसरों को तलाशने में कुशल लोगों की सहायता करेगा। यह उद्योग-संबंधित कौशल प्राप्त करने और विशेष रूप से C-19 महामारी के पश्चात के समय में उभरते रोजगार के अवसरों का पता लगाने में कुशल कर्मचारियों की मदद करेगा। यह मंच नियोक्ताओं को कुशल कार्यबल की उपलब्धता की जांच करने और उनकी भर्ती योजनाओं को तैयार करने के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करेगा।

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे ने मुंबई के पास एशिया के सबसे बड़े प्रमाणित टियर IV डेटा सेंटर का वर्चुअल उद्घाटन किया है। Yotta NM1 डेटा सेंटर बिल्डिंग भारत में सबसे बड़ा टियर IV डेटा सेंटर है। इसे दुनिया का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा डाटा सेंटर होने का दावा भी किया जा रहा है। इस निजी डेटा सेंटर का उपयोग इंजीनियरिंग और रियल एस्टेट व्यवसायों द्वारा किया जाएगा।

भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था में चालू वित्त वर्ष में आ सकती है 3% गिरावट- बोफा

महामारी की मार से चालू वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 में भारत के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (GDP) में 3 फीसदी की गिरावट आने का अनुमान है। विदेशी ब्रोकरेज कंपनी बोफा सिक्योरिटीज ने यह अनुमान लगाया है। बोफा सिक्योरिटीज (BofA Securities) ने गुरुवार को कहा कि उसका यह अनुमान इस बात पर आधारित है कि अगले महीने से अर्थव्यवस्था पूरी तरह खुल जाएगी। बोफा ने कहा कि रिजर्व बैंक मुक्त बाजार परिचालन के जरिये 95 अरब डॉलर तक के सरकारी बॉन्ड की खरीद के जरिये राजकोषीय घाटे का मौद्रिकरण करेगा। इसके अलावा उसके 127 अरब डॉलर के पुनर्मूल्यांकन आरक्षित कोष का इस्तेमाल भी सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकों के पुन: पूंजीकरण के लिए किया जा सकता है।

महामारी की वजह से अर्थशास्त्री चालू वित्त वर्ष के लिए भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था के वृद्धि अनुमान में बड़ी कटौती कर रही है। रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) और अर्थव्यवस्था की निगरानी करने वाले अन्य निकायों का मानना है कि चालू वित्त वर्ष में भारत के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद में गिरावट आएगी। कुछ अनुमानों में तो कहा गया है कि भारत की जीडीपी 7 फीसदी तक घट सकती है।

The US formally announced its withdrawal from the World Health Organization

• The United States has formalized to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO). The actual project of disentangling the U.S. from WHO began on July 6, 2020, with a letter signed by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. It will take one year to go into effect.

• In April, the US stopped funding to WHO as the Trump administration reviewed the ties.

Fino Payments Bank launches ‘Bhavishya’ Savings Account for minor children

• Fino Payments Bank Limited (FPBL) has launched a savings bank account ‘Bhavishya’ for minor children aged between 10 and 18 years on 7th July 2020 to make children banking ready from early age and inculcate a savings habit among them.

• Bhavishya is an annual subscription-based savings account, which can be opened with just Rs. 349 (inclusive of GST).

• Initially, the bank is introducing the Bhavishya Savings Account in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh and gradually it will launch in other states.

केन्‍द्रीय पर्यावरण मंत्री श्री प्रकाश जावडेकर ने बैठक में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हुए कहा कि जलवायु परिवर्तन से निपटने के लिए भारत की ओर से महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाए गए हैं और भविष्य में भी ये प्रयास जारी रखे जाएंगे। श्री जावडेकर ने विकासशील देशों से फिर अनुरोध किया कि वे यूएनएफसीसीसी और पेरिस समझौते के तहत की गई प्रतिबद्धताओं के तहत विकासशील देशों को जलवायु परिवर्तन की समस्‍या से निपटने के लिए वित्तीय और तकनीकी सहायता प्रदान करें। उन्‍होंने कहा ‘2020 तक 1 ट्रिलियन डॉलर की मदद का वादा अभी तक पूरा नहीं किया गया है। मुझे उम्मीद है कि 2020 के शेष 5 महीनों में, विकसित देश यह राशि जुटा लेंगे और विकासीशल देशों तक पहुंचा देंगे।’

अमेरिका ने डब्ल्यूएचओ से हटने के फैसले से संयुक्त राष्ट्र को अवगत कराया

ट्रंप प्रशासन ने C-19 वायरस वैश्विक महामारी के बीच विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) से सभी संबंध तोड़ते हुए इस वैश्विक स्वास्थ्य संगठन से अमेरिका के बाहर होने के अपने फैसले से संयुक्त राष्ट्र को औपचारिक रूप से अवगत करा दिया है। राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने संगठन को आर्थिक मदद रोकने की घोषणा अप्रैल मध्य में की थी और डब्ल्यूएचओ से अमेरिका के बाहर होने की अपनी मंशा भी मई में स्पष्ट रूप से जाहिर कर दी थी। साथ ही, उन्होंने कहा था, ‘‘यह (डब्ल्यूएचओ बार-बार) अनुरोध किये गये और बहुत जरूरी सुधार करने में विफल रहा है।” अमेरिका ने पिछले साल चीन के वुहान शहर से फैली C-19 वायरस महामारी को लेकर डब्ल्यूएचओ पर चीन का पक्ष लेने का भी आरोप लगाया है। उसका आरोप है कि स्वास्थ्य संगठन ने विश्व को गुमराह किया, जिस कारण से दुनिया भर में पांच लाख लोगों की मौत हुई। इनमें से 1,30,000 मौत अकेले अमेरिका में हुई। राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप ने मई में कहा था, “चीन का विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन पर पूर्ण नियंत्रण है।” उन्होंने यह भी आरोप लगाया था कि चीन सरकार ने C-19 वायरस वैश्विक महामारी की उत्पत्ति को ढंकने की कोशिश की है।’’

फिनो पेमेंट्स बैंक ने नाबालिग बच्चों के लिए ' भविष्‍या' बचत खाता लॉन्च किया

• फिनो पेमेंट्स बैंक लिमिटेड (FPBL) ने 7 जुलाई 2020 को 10 से 18 वर्ष के नाबालिग बच्चों के लिए एक बचत बैंक खाता ’भविष्‍या’ शुरू किया है, जिससे वे कम उम्र से बच्चों को बैंकिंग के लिए तैयार कर सकें और उनमें बचत की आदत डाल सकें।

• भाविष्य एक वार्षिक सदस्यता-आधारित बचत खाता है, जिसे केवल रु 349 (जीएसटी को मिलाकर) से खोला जा सकता है।

• प्रारंभ में, बैंक उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार और मध्य प्रदेश में भाविष्य बचत खाता शुरू कर रहा है और धीरे-धीरे यह अन्य राज्यों में लॉन्च होगा।

माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने युवाओं को डिजिटल कौशल प्रदान करने के लिए NSDC के साथ की साझेदार

माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने C-19 संकट के बीच अगले 12 महीनों में देश के युवाओं को डिजिटल कौशल प्रदान करने के लिए राष्ट्रीय कौशल विकास निगम (National Skill Development Corporation) के साथ साझेदारी की है। माइक्रोसॉफ्ट, NSDC के eSkill India पोर्टल से मिलकर शिक्षण संसाधनों तक मुफ्त पहुँच प्रदान करने के साथ-साथ डिजिटल स्किलिंग जागरूकता अभियान भी चलाएगा। यह साझेदारी एक डिजिटल कौशल पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र तैयार करने में मदद करेगी जो भविष्य की नौकरियों के लिए भारत के श्रमिकों को तैयार करेगी।

इस साझेदारी के अंतर्गत, माइक्रोसॉफ्ट के लर्निंग संसाधन केंद्र "Microsoft Learn" को eSkill India digital platform के साथ एकीकृत किया जाएगा और जो मौजूदा अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए जरुरी व्यक्तिगत शिक्षण राह और संसाधनों तक पहुँच प्रदान करेगा और भविष्य में इसे जारी रखने की उम्मीद है। एनएसडीसी के कौशल प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों के तहत पंजीकृत छात्रों, प्रशिक्षण भागीदारों और उच्च-शिक्षा प्रशिक्षुओं की मदद करने के लिए ई-स्किल इवेंट, वेबिनार और वर्चुअल सत्र ईस्किल इंडिया और माइक्रोसॉफ्ट द्वारा पूरे देश में मिलकर-होस्ट किए जाएंगे।

UKIBC ने जयंत कृष्णा को बनाया ग्रुप का नया CEO

यूके इंडिया बिजनेस काउंसिल (UKIBC) ने जयंत कृष्णा को ग्रुप का मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (Chief Exeutive Officer) नियुक्त किया है। जयंत वर्तमान ग्रुप के CEO रिचर्ड हेडल की जगह लेंगे। इससे पहले, जयंत कृष्णा ने प्रधान मंत्री कौशल भारत मिशन के CEO के साथ-साथ राष्ट्रीय कौशल विकास निगम (NSDC) के कार्यकारी निदेशक और मुख्य परिचालन अधिकारी के रूप में भी कार्य किया है।

जयंत कृष्णा भारत स्थित UKIBC ग्रुप के पहले सीईओ होंगे। UKIBC को ब्रिटेन और भारत के बीच व्यापार और व्यापारिक संबंधों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए स्थापित किया गया था।
