Indians in The Forbes 2015 list of u201cCelebrity 100u201d.

Bollywood stalwarts Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni are among the world’s 100 highest paid celebrities, according to the Forbe's  annual list which is topped by American boxer Floyd Mayweather . The Forbes 2015 list of ‘Celebrity 100’. The World’s Top-Paid entertainers 2015’ has been topped by Floyd Mayweather with earnings of 300 million dollars. Breaking into the elite global club, Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan are tied for the 71st rank with earnings of 33.5 million dollars each. Akshay Kumar is at 76th  spot (U.S.D 32.5 million dollars). Dhoni is ranked 82nd (U.S.D 31 million dollars).

Adani Group Signed Agreement with G.F.H Financial

Bahrain-based G.F.H Financial Group signed an agreement with Indian conglomerate Adani Group for developing a Mumbai Economic Development Zone (M.E.D.Z). Under the agreement, the G.F.H's unit Energy City Navi Mumbai (E.C.N.M) and Adani Group will work together in creating the master plan for the lands of Phases II and III of the project, which will offer world class business infrastructure for local and international services including IT companies.

India Shines in Canada Open Gran Prix Women's Doubles Title.

Indian shuttlers Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa won the Canada Open Grand Prix women's doubles title after upstaging the top-seeded Dutch pair of Eefje Muskens and Selena Piek in the summit clash. The third-seeded Indian pair triumphed 21-19 21-16 in the contest. This was Jwala and Ashwini's first title since their reunion after the 2012 London Olympics.

India Placed Top among 110 Countires.

In the Baseline Profitability Index (B.P.I), a ranking of destinations for attractiveness to foreign investors has placed India at the top among 110 countries. In the rankings India has left behind US and China. China has secured the 65th position and the U.S. is at the 50th. In the 2014 index, India was at the sixth position and Hong Kong was number one.

Indian Railway is the 8th Largest employer in the world.

According to the data released by the World Economic Forum (W.E.F) Indian Railways is the 8th largest employer in the world with 1.4 million employees. It is followed by the Indian armed forces (9th)  which  employs 1.3 million people. According to the report the U.S. Department of Defense is world’s largest employer with around 3.2 million employees on its roll. It is followed by People’s Liberation Army (the Chinese military) with 2.3 million. America's retail giant Walmart (2.1 million) is on the 3rd place.

India and Thailand Signed important agreements.

India and Thailand signed a number of important agreements, including the double taxation avoidance treaty, and exchanged instruments of ratification on the extradition treaty inked in 2013, which provides for the legal framework for seeking extradition of fugitive offenders on the last day of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's three-day visit to Thailand. The two sides also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the establishment of Nalanda University.

Bihar Received The First National University for Skill Development.

Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) Rajiv Pratap Rudy announced that independent universities with the name of National University of Skill Education (N.U.S.E) will be established across the country. The first national university for skill development will be set up in Bihar. Work in coordination with Government of India's 24 ministries for skill development is under process and around 6500 crore rupees will be spent for this work.
