World's Highest Glass Skywalk Opens in China

Said to be the world's longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge, a 430-metre-long and 300-metre-high skywalk opened in China on Saturday.
•   The skywalk, made of 99 glass panels connecting two mountain cliffs, is located at Zhangjiajie Park.
•   The mountain cliffs in the area are said to have inspired the 'floating peaks' in the movie 'Avatar'.
•   Glass bridges in China have been a popular craze for the daring photo opportunities they provide.
•   Events like mass yoga displays and even weddings have been staged on several such bridges.
•   Park officials have said a maximum of 8,000 visitors will be allowed on the bridge each day.
•   So those wanting to add another thrill to their bucket list are strongly encouraged to book their slots in advance.

दुनिया की सबसे लंबी और सबसे ज्यादा गिलास तली पुल जो 430 मीटर लंबी और 300 मीटर ऊंची है, को शनिवार को चीन में खोला गया।
•   स्काईवाक , 99 गिलास पैनल से बना है जो दो पहाड़ की चट्टानों को जोड़ता है और ज्हंग्जियाजिए पार्क में स्थित है ।
• फिल्म 'अवतार ' में ' तैरने वाले पहाड़ों ' को इस क्षेत्र के पहाड़ की चट्टानों को अवतार ' में से प्रेरित माना जाता है ।
•   चीन में कांच के पुलों पर चलने का एक क्रेज है इसीलिए इस तरह के पूल भी ज्यादा बनाए जाने लगे हैं ।
•   बड़े पैमाने पर योग यहाँ तक की शादियां भी इस तरह के पुलों पर रचाई गयी हैं ।
•   पार्क के अधिकारियों के अनुसार 8,000 आगंतुकों को अधिकतम प्रत्येक दिन पुल पर जाने की अनुमति दी जाएगी।
