World Heritage site Mahabodhi Temple is now cashless
The world heritage site, Mahabodhi temple, a Buddhist temple in Gaya district of Bihar which has became completely cashless.
● The new cashless system became fully operational from Saturday.
● After the new cashless system became operational, devotes both domestic and foreign would be able to donate money for the temple using their debit or credit cards.
● The new cashless system was inaugurated by the Gaya District Magistrate Ravi Kumar.
● The Mahabodhi temple management has installed several swipe machine at all the cash counters in the temple to facilitate devotees.
● Once the cashless system started to function, Buddhist monks donated Rs 500 to the temple using the credit card.
सरकार द्वारा नोटबंदी के नियम के बाद अब कैशलेस ट्रांजैक्शन पर ध्यान दिया जा रहा है।
● इसके लिए सरकार कई तरह के प्रयास करने में लगी है। तो दूसरी ओर कई मंदिरों में कैशलेस की व्यवस्था अपनाई जा रही है।
● प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अपील का असर विश्व प्रसिद्ध महाबोधि मंदिर में भी देखने को मिला है।
● दरअसल यहां पर डेबिट कार्ड और क्रेडिट कार्ड का उपयोग किया जा सकेगा। जिसके तहत दान-दक्षिणा भी इसी के जरिए की जा सकेगी।
● बौद्ध भिक्षु ने इस योजना का शुभारंभ किया। जिसके तहत उन्होंने 500 रूपए मंदिर ट्रस्ट को दिए।
● अधिकारियों ने महाबोधि मंदिर में स्वाईप मशीन लगाने की जानकारी भी दी। गौरतलब है कि विश्वभर से इस मंदिर में दर्शनों के लिए लोग यहां पहुंचते हैं।
● महाबोधि मंदिर में कैशलेस ट्रांजिक्शन की सुविधा की शुरूआत दीपप्रज्जवलन के साथ हुई इस मौके पर जिले के कलेक्टर आदि उपस्थित थे।
