Wipro buys US-based HealthPlan Services for $460 million.

 Wipro signed an agreement to acquire the US-based Health Plan Services from Water Street Healthcare Partners for $460 million. This is Wipro’s fourth acquisition in the last six months

By partnering with HealthPlan Services, Wipro gains the competitive, first-mover advantage in the high growth public and private exchange space for individual, group and ancillary markets.

The Health Plan acquisition is Wipro’s largest since it bought Infocrossing in 2007 for $600 million Wipro consented to an arrangement to obtain the US-based Health Plan Services from Water Street Healthcare Partners for $460 million. This is Wipro's fourth securing in the most recent six months

•     By cooperating with HealthPlan Services, Wipro picks up the focused, first-mover favorable position in the high development open and private trade space for individual, bunch and auxiliary markets.

•     The Health Plan securing is Wipro's biggest since it purchased Infocrossing in 2007 for $600 million.
