Vidya Balan awarded with “Pride of Kerala”.

 The 38-year-old Bollywood on-screen character Vidya Balan has been honored with the 'Pride of Kerala' grant by the World Malayalee Council and Kairali TV.

The National honor winning on-screen character has featured in movies such as "Parineeta", "Paa", "Nobody Killed Jessica", "The Dirty Picture" and "Kahaani". 

Recompenses:

National Film Award for Best Actress for The Dirty Picture (2011).

Five Filmfare Awards: Best Female Debut for Parineeta (2005) Best Actress for Paa (2009), The Dirty Picture (2011) and Kahaani (2012) and Critics Award for Best Actress for Ishqiya (2010).

Padma Shri Award in 2014.
