The Marine Museum at the Marine Aquarium and Regional Centre (M.A.R.C.) of Zoological Survey of India (Z.S.I.), Digha was thrown open to the public.
The Marine Museum was inaugurated at the Marine Aquarium and Regional Center (MARC) of Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) in Digha, West Bengal. It was introduced alongside one day National Seminar on Coastal Zone Management and Marine Biodiversity at East Medinipur locale of West Bengal.
Components of the Marine Museum:
• The recently developed historical center that is tossed open to general society contains Fish exhibition, Coral display, and Molluscan display with more than 500 marine species show.
• The species incorporate fishes, ocean snakes, molluscs, corals, crabs, prawns, lobsters, echinoderms, horse-shoe crabs and so forth.
