Technocrat D Rajkumar was appointed as the CMD of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd

Technocrat D Rajkumar was appointed as the new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL).
•   He will succeed BPCL’s current chief S Varadarajan who is retiring on September 2016.He has been appointed to the post for five-year term.
•   Presently, D Rajkumar is working as Managing Director of Bharat Petro Resources Ltd, a unit of BPCL focused on exploration and production.
•   Apart from him, Utpal Bora was been appointed as the new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Oil India Limited (OIL).
•   Bora was selected on the recommendation of a three-member search-cum-selection Committee headed by Cabinet Secretary P K Sinha.
•   Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited is an Indian state-controlled oil and gas company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The Corporation operates two large refineries of the country located at Mumbai and Kochi.

टेक्नोक्रेट डी राजकुमार को भारत पेट्रोलियम कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (बीपीसीएल) के प्रबंधक निदेशक (सीएमडी) नियुक्त

तकनीकी विशेषज्ञ डी राजकुमार भारत पेट्रोलियम कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड(बीपीसीएल) के अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक बनाए गए हैं।
•   राजकुमार बीपीसीएल के मौजूदा प्रमुख एस वरदराजन की जगह लेंगे जो सितम्बर 2016 में सेवानिवृत हो रहे हैं. उन्हें 5 सा के लिए नियुक्त किया गया था ।
•   राजकुमार फिलहाल भारत पेट्रो रिसोर्सेज लिमिटेड में प्रबंध निदेशक हैं जो बीपीसीएल की ही इकाई है और उत्खनन एवं उत्पादन का काम देखती है।
•   उनके अलावा उत्पल बोरा को आयल इंडिया लिमिटेड के नए निदेशक और प्रबंधन निदेशक के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है
•   बोरा का चयन 3 सदस्यीय समिति के द्वारा किया गया जिसके मुखिया थे कैबिनेट सेक्रेटरी पी.के.सिन्हा
•   बीपीसीएल सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की रिफाइनिंग और खुदरा कारोबार करने वाली कंपनी है जिसका मुख्यालय मुंबई, महाराष्ट्रा में है । ये कारपोरेशन मुंबई और कोच्ची में 2 रिफाइनरी चलाती है
