GoI and AIIB sign MoU for $500 million for Mumbai Urban Transport Project-III

• The Government of India, the Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has signed a loan agreement for a $500 million Mumbai Urban Transport Project-III.

• The aim of the project is to improve the network capacity, service quality and safety of the suburban railway system in Mumbai.

20-year old Indian wins ‘World's Fastest Human Calculator' title

• India’s Neelakanta Bhanu Prakash has won the ‘World's Fastest Human Calculator' title. The 20-year-old won the first-ever gold for India in Mental Calculation World Championship at Mind Sports Olympiad (MSO) held in London recently.

• Neelakanta Bhanu Prakash belongs to Hyderabad and he is currently pursuing Mathematics (Hons.) at Delhi University's St Stephen College. He is the proud owner of four world records and 50 Limca records for being the fastest human calculator in the world.

• Prakash’s brain can reportedly calculate quicker than the speed of a calculator. He has broked the records once held by Math maestros like Scott Flansburg and Shakuntala Devi.

Kerala’s 1st-ever Dragonfly Festival

• WWF-India Kerala State Office is joining hands with the Society for Odonate Studies (SOS) and Thumbipuranam for the first-ever state “Dragonfly Festival” in Kerala, christened ‘Thumbimahotsavam 2020’.

• Dragonfly Festival, a series of events will be rolled out in the coming months to reach out to various sections of the society.

• This is part of the National Dragonfly Festival organised by WWF India, Bombay Natural History Society and Indian Dragonfly Society in association with National Biodiversity Board, UN Environmental Programme, UN Development Programme and IUCN-CEC.

ICICI Bank uses satellite data to assess creditworthiness of farmers

• Private lender ICICI Bank makes use of satellite data, imagery from Earth observation satellites, to assess credit worthiness of farmers.

• ICICI Bank has become the 1st bank in India to use such a technique to measure an array of parameters related to the land, irrigation and crop patterns and use it in combination with demographic and financial parameters to make quick lending decisions for farmers.

Rs.8,594 cr to be disbursed to stressed NBFCs and HFCs

• The Finance Ministry said 24 proposals by stressed non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) and housing finance companies (HFCs) worth ₹8,594 crore have been sanctioned under the special liquidity scheme.

• The scheme was announced in July, as part of the ₹20.97 lakh crore ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ package.

Centre announces Tax exemptions for businesses with annual turnover of up to Rs 40 lakh

• The Ministry of Finance has announced that the businesses with an annual turnover of up to Rs 40 lakh are now GST exempt. Earlier, this limit was Rs 20 lakh.

• The Ministry has also informed that those businesses with an annual turnover up to Rs 1.5 crore can opt for the Composition Scheme and pay only 1 percent tax.

Tomyas Award for Reshma Mohandas

• Reshma Mohandas, a nurse with the Government Medical College (MCH), Kottayam, has been selected for the Tomyas Award worth ₹1 lakh for the best nurse in Kerala.

• The award was instituted in memory of Treesa Ignatius, mother of Thomas Pavaratti, owner of Thrissur-based Tomyas Advertising Agency.

• The Award will be presented by Bobby Paul and Antio Paul, directors of Star Plastics, at Tomyas Garden, Peramangalam, on October 2.

CCI approves Siemens’ acquisition of C&S Electric

• Fair trade regulator Competition Commission of India (CCI) said it approved the proposed acquisition of C&S Electric by Siemens.

• As per a statement issued by Siemens in January, it had inked an agreement to acquire 99 per cent equity in New Delhi-based C&S Electric for around Rs 2,100 crore.

Indian Satellite ‘AstroSat’ Detects UV Light From Galaxy 9 Billion Light Years Away

• India’s first multi-wavelength satellite, AstroSat, has detected an extreme ultraviolet (UV) light from a galaxy, called AUDFs01.This galaxy is 9.3 billion light-years away from Earth, in the Hubble Extreme Deep field.

• AstroSat is India’s first multi-wavelength satellite, which has five unique X-ray and ultraviolet telescopes working in tandem.The discovery was made by an international team of astronomers led by Dr Kanak Saha, associate professor of astronomy at the Pune-based Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA).

• This research was published on August 24, 2020, by Nature Astronomy.

• Former President of the Republic of Congo, Pascal Lissouba passed away. He became the minister of agriculture in 1960 after Congo became an independent country.

• He served as the president from 1992 to 1997. He served as the Prime minister under the Presidency of Alphonse Massamba Debat.

• Renowned Indian scientist, G Satheesh Reddy was given a two-year extension as the chairman of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

• भारत के नीलकांत भानु प्रकाश ने विश्व का सबसे तेज मानव कैलकुलेटर ’खिताब जीता है। 20 वर्षीय ने हाल ही में लंदन में आयोजित माइंड स्पोर्ट्स ओलंपियाड (MSO) में मानसिक गणना विश्व चैम्पियनशिप में भारत के लिए पहला स्वर्ण पदक जीता।

• नीलकंठ भानु प्रकाश हैदराबाद से हैं और वह वर्तमान में दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के सेंट स्टीफन कॉलेज में गणित (ऑनर्स) कर रहे हैं। वह दुनिया में सबसे तेज मानव कैलकुलेटर होने के लिए चार विश्व रिकॉर्ड और 50 लिम्का रिकॉर्ड का गौरवशाली प्राप्‍त कर चुके है।

• प्रकाश का मस्तिष्क कैलकुलेटर की गति की तुलना में तेज गणना कर सकता है। उन्होंने स्कॉट मैन्सबर्ग और शकुंतला देवी जैसे मठ के महारथियों का एक बार रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है।

केरल में पहली बार "ड्रैगनफ्लाई फेस्टिवल"

• डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूएफ-इंडिया केरल स्टेट ऑफिस सोसाइटी फॉर ओडोनेट स्टडीज (एसओएस) और थुंबिपुरनम के साथ केरल में पहली बार "ड्रैगनफ्लाई फेस्टिवल" के लिए हाथ मिला रहा है, जिसका नाम 'थुंबिमहोत्सवम 2020' है।

• ड्रैगनफ्लाई फेस्टिवल, आने वाले महीनों में समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों तक पहुंचने के लिए घटनाओं की एक श्रृंखला शुरू की जाएगी।

• यह राष्ट्रीय जैव विविधता बोर्ड, संयुक्त राष्ट्र पर्यावरण कार्यक्रम, संयुक्त राष्ट्र विकास कार्यक्रम और आईयूसीएन-सीईसी के सहयोग से डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूएफ इंडिया, बॉम्बे नेचुरल हिस्ट्री सोसाइटी और इंडियन ड्रैगनफ्लाई सोसाइटी द्वारा आयोजित राष्ट्रीय ड्रैगनफली महोत्सव का हिस्सा है।

कर्ज देने में सैटेलाइट का इस्तेमाल: किसानों को लोन देने के लिए ICICI बैंक ने शुरू की पहल

• प्राइवेट सेक्टर के ICICI बैंक ने एक अनोखी पहल शुरू की है। बैंक अब सैटेलाइट डेटा की मदद से किसानों को कर्ज देने के फैसले लेगा। ICICI बैंक ने कहा है कि वह सैटेलाइट डेटा की मदद से किसानों की ऋण पात्रता का आकलन करेगा और फिर उन्हें लोन देगा। भारत में इस तरह की पहल करने वाला ICICI बैंक पहला बैंक है। वैश्विक स्तर पर भी कुछ ही बैंक किसानों को लोन देने के फैसले लेने के लिए इस तरह की सुविधा का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं।

• ICICI बैंक ने बयान में कहा कि किसानों की ऋण पात्रता का आकलन करने के लिए बैंक अर्थ ऑब्जर्वेशन सैटेलाइट्स की मदद से सैटेलाइट डेटा इमेजरी का इस्तेमाल करेगा। इस डेटा से भूमि, सिंचाई, फसल पद्धति से जुड़े पैरामीटर्स का आकलन किया जा सकेगा। साथ ही किसानों को लोन देने के फैसले जल्द करने के लिए डेमोग्राफिक व फाइनेंशियल पैरामीटर्स के कॉम्बिनेशन में इस्तेमाल किया जा सकेगा।

एसएलएस के तहत एनबीएफसी, एचएफसी के 8,594 करोड़ रुपये के 24 प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी

• वित्त मंत्रालय ने दबाव वाली गैर-बैंकिंग वित्तीय कंपनियों (एनबीएफसी) और आवास वित्त कंपनियों (एचएफसी) के 8,594 करोड़ रुपये के कर्ज सहायाता के 24 प्रस्तावों को विशेष तरलता योजना के तहत मंजूरी दी गई है। इस योजना की घोषणा 20.97 लाख करोड़ रुपये के ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत’ पैकेज के तहत की गई थी। इस योजना की शुरुआत एक जुलाई को हुई हैं। इसके तहत प्राथमिक और द्वितीयक दोनों बाजारों में ऋण या बांड की खरीद की अनुमति है। यह योजना एनबीएफसी और एचएफसी के लघु अवधि की नकदी की जरूरतों को पूरा करने के बारे में है।

• वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने 30,000 करोड़ रुपये की विशेष तरलता योजना (एसएलएस) के क्रियान्वयन की स्थिति का ब्योरा साझा करते हुए शनिवार को ट्वीट किया कि 21 अगस्त तक 8,594 करोड़ रुपये के 24 प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दी गई है। वहीं 3,684.5 करोड़ रुपये के 17 अन्य प्रस्ताव अभी विचार किया जा रहा है। सीतारमण ने ट्वीट में कहा, ‘‘21 अगस्त तक कुल 3,279 करोड़ रुपये की राशि वितरित की गई है। सात अगस्त, 2020 की तुलना में मंजूर राशि में 2,195 करोड़ रुपये की बढ़ोतरी हुई है, जबकि वितरित की गई राशि में 2,279 करोड़ रुपये की वृद्धि हुई है।

• सितंबर, 2018 में आईएलएंडएफएस समूह की कंपनियों द्वारा एक के बाद एक कई बार भुगतान में चूक किए जाने से एनबीएफसी और एचएफसी दबाव में हैं। सूक्ष्म वित्त संस्थानों सहित आरबीआई कानून, 1934 के तहत पंजीकृत एनबीएफसी (मुख्य निवेश कंपनी के रूप में पंजीकृत को छोड़कर) और राष्ट्रीय आवास बैंक कानून, 1987 के तहत पंजीकृत एचएफसी इस सुविधा के तहत धन जुटा सकती हैं।

40 लाख रुपये के वार्षिक कारोबार के साथ कारोबारियों के लिए कोई जीएसटी नहीं

• महामारी के कारण संघर्ष कर रहे व्यवसायों को एक बड़ी राहत देते हुए, वित्त मंत्रालय ने सोमवार को घोषणा की कि 40 लाख रुपये के सालाना कारोबार वाले माल और सेवा कर (जीएसटी) से छूट दी गई है। पहले जीएसटी छूट की सीमा पहले 20 लाख रुपये थी।

• इसके अलावा, 1.5 करोड़ रुपये तक के टर्नओवर वाले व्यवसाय अब कंपोजिशन स्कीम का विकल्प चुन सकते हैं और केवल एक प्रतिशत कर का भुगतान कर सकते हैं।

• “अब, 40 लाख रुपये तक के सालाना कारोबार वाले कारोबारियों को जीएसटी से छूट है। शुरुआत में, यह सीमा 20 लाख रुपये थी। इसके अलावा, 1.5 करोड़ रुपये तक के टर्नओवर वाले लोग कंपोजिशन स्कीम का विकल्प चुन सकते हैं और केवल 1% कर का भुगतान कर सकते हैं। , “वित्त मंत्रालय के एक ट्वीट ने कहा। कई अन्य महत्वपूर्ण राहतें विभिन्न क्षेत्रों को प्रदान की गई हैं जैसे कि निर्माण जिसमें आवास क्षेत्र को 5 प्रतिशत कर की दर पर रखा गया है।

CCI ने सीमेंस लिमिटेड द्वारा C&S इलेक्ट्रिक लिमिटेड के 100% प्रस्तावित अधिग्रहण को मंजूरी दी

• भारतीय प्रतिस्पर्धा आयोग (CCI) ने सीमेंस लिमिटेड द्वारा C & S इलेक्ट्रिक लिमिटेड (C & S) के भारतीय परिचालन की शेयर पूंजी के 100% प्रस्तावित अधिग्रहण को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस उद्देश्य के लिए, सीमेंस लिमिटेड ने जनवरी 2020 में C & S के साथ एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।

• सीमेंस इंडिया निम्नलिखित क्षेत्रों, अर्थात् बिजली उत्पादन और वितरण, इमारतों के लिए बुद्धिमान बुनियादी ढांचे और दूसरों के बीच ऊर्जा प्रणालियों को वितरित करने पर केंद्रित है।

• यह स्मार्ट शहरों के लिए रेल और सड़क परिवहन और बुनियादी ढांचे के समाधान के लिए स्मार्ट गतिशीलता समाधानों की आपूर्ति करता है।

• अंतरिक्ष में दुनिया भर के उन्नत टेलीस्कोप (Telescope) और अंतरिक्षयान (Space craft) अब बहुत दूर के पिंडों (objtcts) की जानकारी हासिल करने लगे हैं।ऐसे में भारत भी पीछे नहीं हैं। भारत के एस्ट्रोसैट (AstroSat) नाम के पहले मल्टी तरंगीय सैटेलाइट (Multi wavelength Satellite) ने पृथ्वी से 9.3 अरब प्रकाश वर्ष दूर स्थित गैलेक्सी से आती हुई पराबैंगनी किरणों को पकड़ा है। इस अध्ययन में दुनिया भर के वैज्ञानिक शामिल थे।

• इस बात की जानकारी भारत में पुणे स्थित इंटर यूनिवर्सिटी सेंटर फॉर एस्ट्रोनॉमी एंड एस्ट्रोफिजिक्स (IUCAA) ने दी। यूनिवर्सिटी की ओर से जारी बयान में कहा गया कि कि IUCAA वैज्ञानिकों की एक वैश्विक टीम यह बड़ी खोज करने में सफल हुई है जिसमें उन्होंने भारतीय उपग्रह एस्ट्रोसैट की मदद ली।

• एस्ट्रोसैट नाम का भारत का पहला मल्टी वेवलेंथ सैटेलाइट जिसमें पांच खास तरह के एक्स रे और अल्ट्रावायलेट टेलीस्कोप एक साथ काम करते हैं, ने 9.3 अरब प्रकाशवर्ष दूर स्थित AUDFs01 नाम के गैलेक्सी से पराबैंगनी किरणों को पकड़ा है।

कांगो के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति पास्कल लिसौबा का निधन

• कांगो गणराज्य के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति पास्कल लिसौबा का निधन हो गया। 1960 में कांगो के स्वतंत्र देश बनने के बाद वे कृषि मंत्री बने थे।

• उन्होंने 1992 से 1997 तक राष्ट्रपति के रूप में कार्य किया। उन्होंने प्रधान मंत्री के रूप में अल्फोंस मासम्बा डिबेट की अध्यक्षता में कार्य किया था।

दो साल बढ़ाया गया DRDO प्रमुख जी सतीश रेड्डी का कार्यकाल

• प्रसिद्ध भारतीय वैज्ञानिक जी सतेश रेड्डी का रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (DRDO) के अध्यक्ष के रूप में कार्यकाल को दो साल बढ़ा दिया गया है। उन्हें दो साल के लिए अगस्त 2018 में इस पद पर नियुक्त किया गया था।

• कैबिनेट की नियुक्ति समिति ने डीआरडीओ अध्यक्ष के रूप में रेड्डी के कार्यकाल के विस्तार को अपनी मंजूरी दी है, इसके अवाला वह 26 अगस्त के बाद दो वर्षों के लिए वह रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास विभाग (डीओडीआरडी) के सचिव भी होंगे।

• यह दिन अमेरिकी संविधान के 19 वें संशोधन के पारित होने की याद दिलाता है जिसने महिलाओं को मतदान का अधिकार दिया था। 1971 में, अमेरिकी कांग्रेस ने आधिकारिक तौर पर 26 अगस्त को महिला समानता दिवस के रूप में मान्यता दी।

UNICEF India Partners with FICCI to launch #Reimagine Campaign

• The UNICEF INDIA has entered into partnership with the Socio Economic Development Foundation (SEDF) of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), to co-develop #Reimagine Campaign.

• The #Reimagine Campaign of UNICEF aims to support the most vulnerable populations and children during the C-19 response and its after-math in India.

IIT Kanpur develops UV sanitizing device ‘SHUDH’ to disinfect room in 15 mins

• A team of engineers at IIT Kanpur has developed an Ultraviolet (UV) sanitizing product named SHUDH, which is capable to disinfect a 10 sqft room in about 15 minutes.

• SHUDH stands for Smartphone operated Handy Ultraviolet Disinfection Helper. It has been jointly developed by J. Ramkumar, Amandeep Singh and ShivamSachan.

• SHUDH has six UV lights of 15 Watts each that can be individually monitored from a distance and can be rotated up to 360 degrees. Users can use the number of lights based upon the size of the room.

India launches World’s Most Affordable C-19 kit “COROSURE”

• The Union Minister of Human Resource and Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishnak launched world’s most affordable C-19 kit. The kit was developed by IIT Delhi.

• The test called “COROSURE” has been billed as the world’s most affordable RT-PCR based C-19 diagnostic kit. The base price of the kit is Rs 399.

DCGI approves India’s 1st homemade Pneumonia vaccine

• India’s first fully indigenously developed Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Conjugate Vaccine (Pneumonia vaccine) has received the approval from Drug Controller General of India (DCGI).

• It will be utilized for active immunization against invasive disease and pneumonia caused by “Streptococcus pneumonia” among infants.

Maharashtra’s first woman Election Commissioner, Neela Satyanarayan, passes away

• Former 1972 batch IAS officer and Maharashtra’s first woman State Election Commissioner (SEC) Neela Satyanarayan has passed away after she was diagnosed with C-19. She was 72.

• She was made the state election commissioner in 2009, and retired on July 5, 2014.

India ranks among top ten nations in intellectual property filings

• India has emerged as the top tenth nation in the ranking of the total (resident and abroad) Intellectual Property (IP) filing activity, as per World Intellectual Property Indicators-2019 Report.

• The overall ranking has been topped by Chinawas followed by United States, Germany, Japan, and Republic of Korea as the top five nations in the list.

• The report released by Geneva-based World Intellectual Property Organization analyzes IP activity around the globe.

यूनिसेफ इंडिया ने #Reimagine कैंपेन के लिए फिक्की के साथ की साझेदारी

यूनिसेफ इंडिया ने फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन चैंबर्स ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री (फिक्की), सोसिओ-इकनोमिक डेवलपमेंट फाउंडेशन (SEDF) के साथ संयुक्त रूप से यूनिसेफ के #Reimagine अभियान को तैयार करने के लिए समझौता किया है। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य भारत में C-19 प्रतिक्रिया और उसके बाद की परिस्थिति के दौरान सबसे कमजोर वर्ग और बच्चों की मदद करना है। साथ ही यह व्यापार के संचालन के साथ-साथ रोजगार व्यवस्था को संभावित दीर्घकालिक नुकसान से बचने में भी मदद करेगा।

FICCI और SEDF, यूनिसेफ इंडिया अभियान में सहयोग देने के लिए C-19 व्यवधान के कारण प्रभावित सबसे कमजोर आबादी के लिए सहायता करने के लिए धन जुटाने के लिए नकदी और कोर संपत्ति जैसे अपने संसाधनों का लाभ उठाएगा। इसके अलावा यह अभियान के लिए समर्थन जुटाने के लिए अपने सदस्यता बेस का भी इस्तेमाल करेगा।

IIT कानपुर ने स्मार्टफ़ोन ऑपरेटेड हैंडी अल्ट्रावॉयलेट कीटाणुशोधन हेल्पर (SHUDH) नामक एक अल्ट्रावायलेट (यूवी) सैनिटाइजिंग डिवाइस विकसित किया है। इस डिवाइस में 15 वाट की 6 यूवी लाइट्स हैं जिन्हें दूर से ही व्यक्तिगत रूप से मॉनिटर किया जा सकता है। इसके प्रारंभिक परीक्षण के दौरान सामने आया है कि इस डिवाइस का एक बार पूरी तरह से संचालन करने पर लगभग 15 मिनट में 10x10 वर्ग फुट के कमरे को कीटाणुरहित किया जा सकता है।

SHUDH को अस्पतालों, होटलों, मॉल, कार्यालयों और स्कूलों जैसे सबसे ज्यादा जोखिम भरे स्थानों पर c-19 के प्रसार को रोकने में सहायक हो सकता है। उपलब्ध स्मार्टफोन पर इसकी एंड्रॉइड एप्लिकेशन इंस्टॉल करके इसे ऑन / ऑफ, गति और स्थान को दूर रहकर नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है।

भारत ने लॉन्च की विश्व की सबसे किफायती C-19 किट “COROSURE”

केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन और विकास मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक ने दुनिया की सबसे सस्ती C-19 किट लॉन्च की। इस किट को आईआईटी दिल्ली द्वारा विकसित किया गया है।

“COROSURE” नामक टेस्ट को दुनिया की सबसे सस्ती RT-PCR आधारित C-19 नैदानिक किट के रूप में प्रस्तुत किया गया है। इस किट का आधार मूल्य 399 रुपये है।

किट बनाने के लिए करीब 10 कंपनियों को लाइसेंस दिए गए हैं। किट तैयार करने की तकनीक आईआईटी दिल्ली द्वारा कंपनियों को हस्तांतरित की जाएगी।

इंडियन काउंसिल ऑफ मेडिकल रिसर्च के अनुसार, किट के साथ भारत की परीक्षण क्षमता प्रति दिन 20 लाख तक जाने की सम्भावना है। वर्तमान में भारत प्रति दिन 3 लाख परीक्षण कर रहा है।

इस विधि की परीक्षण लागत बहुत कम है क्योंकि किट परीक्षण का संचालन करने के लिए एक जांच-मुक्त विधि का उपयोग करती है।

इस किट से भारत को अपने आत्म निर्भर भारत अभियान को प्राप्त करने में भी मदद मिलेगी क्योंकि किट को स्वदेशी रूप से विकसित किया जाना है।

भारत में बनी पहली न्यूमोनिया की पूरी तरह स्वदेशी वैक्सीन को मिली DCGI की हरी झंडी

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के अनुसार Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) ने न्यूमोनिया के लिए भारत में बने पहले पूरी तरह से स्वदेशी टीके यानी वैक्सीन को अपनी मंजूरी दे दी है। रेगुलेटरी बोर्ड ने Special Expert Committee (SEC) के साथ मिलकर Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Conjugate वैक्सीन के पहले, दूसरे और तीसरे चरण के क्लीनिकल ट्रायल में सामने आए डेटा की समीक्षा की, जिसके बाद इसे बाजार में लाने की मंजूरी दी गई है। इस वैक्सीन को पुणे की फर्म Serum Institute of India ने बनाया है। यह टीका इंट्रामस्कुलर यानी पेशियों में लगाए जाने वाला है।

मंत्रालय ने बताया कि वैक्सीन को न्यूमोनिया और नवजात शिशुओं में Streptococcus pneumonia के चलते होने वाले न्यूमोनिया में इसका इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा।

एयरोस्पेस एवं रक्षा विनिर्माण प्रौद्योगिकी सम्मेलन के 5वें संस्करण का हुआ आयोजन

रक्षा राज्य मंत्री श्रीपद येसो नाइक ने "एयरोस्पेस एवं रक्षा विनिर्माण प्रौद्योगिकी" सम्मेलन के 5वें संस्करण का उद्घाटन किया। इस सम्मेलन को ‘आत्म निर्भरत भारत मिशन’ के साथ भारत को सशक्त बनाने के विषय पर आयोजित किया गया था। इसे तमिलनाडु डेवलपमेंट एंड प्रमोशन सेंटर (TNTDPC), सोसायटी ऑफ इंडियन डिफेंस मैन्युफैक्चरर्स (SIDM) और भारतीय उद्योग परिसंघ (CII) द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से आयोजित किया गया।

रक्षा राज्य मंत्री श्री श्रीपद येस्सो नाइक ने सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि “भारत के एयरोस्पेस और रक्षा बाजार में विकास की खासी संभावनाएं हैं और वैश्विक स्तर पर प्रतिस्पर्धी तथा अग्रणी हब के रूप में विकसित होने, डिजाइन विनिर्माण, इंजीनियरिंग, प्रौद्योगिकी विकास वसेवाओं के सकल निर्यातक बनने के लिए इसके मूलभूत तत्व खासे मजबूत हैं।” भारत में एयरोस्पेस और रक्षा उद्योग 2030 तक 70 अरब डॉलर तक पहुंचने का अनुमान है।

NITI Aayog to launch project “Decarbonising Transport in India”

• NITI Aayog has collaborated with International Transport Forum (ITF) for “Decarbonising Transport in India” project, with the aim to develop a pathway towards a low-carbon transport system for India.

• The project will be launched online on 24 June, 2020, at YouTube livestream, which can be accessed at https://youtu.be/l2G5x5RdBUM.The “Decarbonising Transport in India” project will provide the government with a detailed understanding of current and future transport activity and the related CO2 emissions as a basis for their decision-making.

• ITFis Paris, France based intergovernmental organisation for transport policy. France commits 200 million Euros loan for India to scale up Government’s existing response

• France has signed a loan agreement of 200-million-euros with India to boost India’s C-19 response. With the loan agreement, France aims to increase the state and central governments’ capacities to support India’s most vulnerable people in the wake of the C-19 crisis.

• World Bank has developed the programme design in collaboration with the Indian authorities to optimize and expand the existing social protection measures taken by India.

• The legendary first-class cricketer player, Rajinder Goel, who holds the record for most wickets in the history of Ranji Trophy, has passed away due to age related issues. He was 77.

• In all, the left-arm spinner took 750 wickets, in 157 first-class matches which he played.

Major General (Retd) Lachhman Singh Lehl passes away

• Major General (Retd) Lachhman Singh Lehl passed away. He was one of India’s finest military brains and one of its last surviving officers to have taken part in both the 1948 and 1971 wars.

• He was commissioned in the Regiment of Artillery in 1943.

India becomes 12th largest US govt securities holder

• India has become the 12th largest holder of US government securities at the end of April 2020 with a holding worth USD 157.4 billion. The US Treasury Department data showed that after significantly reducing the exposure in March to USD 156.5 billion, India marginally hiked the holding by USD 0.9 billion to USD 157.4 billion the next month.

• While India’s holding touched a record high of USD 177.5 billion in February, the same was drastically reduced in March. The exposure had stood at USD 164.3 billion in January. At the end of April, Japan remained the country with the maximum exposure at USD 1.27 trillion, followed by China at USD 1.1 trillion and the UK at USD 368.5 billion.

भारत के पास अप्रैल के अंत में 157.4 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर की अमेरिकी सरकारी प्रतिभूतियों थीं, जिसके साथ वह इन प्रतिभूतियों का 12वां सबसे बड़ा धारक बन गया। अमेरिकी वित्त विभाग के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक भारत के पास ये प्रतिभूतियां मार्च में घटकर 156.5 अरब डालर रह गईं थीं, लेकिन अप्रैल में यह 0.9 अरब डॉलर बढ़कर 157.4 अरब डॉलर हो गईं। वायरस महामारी के चलते वैश्विक आर्थिक अनिश्चितता के बीच भारत द्वारा इस साल अमेरिकी प्रतिभूतियों की खरीद-फरोख्त में कोई खास रुझान देखने को नहीं मिला है। भारत के पास प्रतिभूतियों का अधिकतम स्तर फरवरी में जब रिजर्व बैंक के पास अमेरिका की 177.5 अरब डॉलर की सरकारी प्रतिभूतियां जमा हो गयी थीं। जनवरी में यह आंकड़ा 164.3 अरब डॉलर था। आंकड़ों के मुताबिक अप्रैल के अंत में जापान के पास सबसे अधिक 1266 अरब डॉलर की अमेरिकी प्रतिभूतियां थीं, जिसके बाद 1,073 अरब डॉलर के साथ चीन और 368.5 अरब डॉलर के साथ ब्रिटेन का स्थान था।

• The Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has reached $150-billion mark in term of market capitalisation. Hence, the Mukesh Ambani-helmed RIL has become India’s first $150-billion company in terms of market capitalisation.

• RIL achieved this milestone when its share price had gained 6.23% to close at Rs 1,759, taking its market capitalisation to Rs 11.15 lakh crore i.e. around $150 billion.

• With this achievement, the market capitalisation of Reliance Industries Limited is more than that of Total SA, Royal Dutch Shell and BP among the top global energy players.

• पीएम मोदी ने छठे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस पर अपने संदेश में कहा कि योग एकता के बल के रूप में उभरा है और यह मानवता के बंधन को भी गहरा करता है। यह भेदभाव नहीं करता है और रंग, नस्ल, विश्वास, लिंग और राष्ट्रों से परे है।

• यह पहली बार था कि योग दिवस समारोह वस्तुतः आयोजित किया गया था, जब से इसे 2015 में स्थापित किया गया था। यह दिन हर साल 21 जून को मनाया जाता है। 21 जून की तारीख को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सुझाया था।

केंद्रीय मंत्री ने R&D पोर्टल "SATYABHAMA" लॉन्च किया

केंद्रीय कोयला, खान और संसदीय मामलों के मंत्री, प्रहलाद जोशी ने R & D पोर्टल "Science and Technology Yojana for Aatmanirbhar Bharat in Mining Advancement (SATYABHAMA)" शुरू किया है। पोर्टल को खान मंत्रालय के विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी कार्यक्रम योजना के लिए लॉन्च किया गया है। नए लॉन्च किए गए पोर्टल से योजना के क्रियान्वयन में दक्षता बढ़ेगी और साथ ही यह परियोजनाओं की ऑनलाइन निगरानी और धन / अनुदान के उपयोग के साथ परियोजना प्रस्तावों को ऑनलाइन जमा करने की अनुमति देगा।

R & D पोर्टल SATYABHAMA को राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान केंद्र (NIC), माइन्स इंफोर्मेशन डिवीजन द्वारा डिजाइन, विकसित और कार्यान्वित किया गया है। इसे NITI Aayog के NGO Darpan पोर्टल के साथ एकीकृत किया गया है। यह इलेक्ट्रॉनिक प्रारूप में शोधकर्ताओं की प्रगति रिपोर्ट और परियोजनाओं की अंतिम तकनीकी रिपोर्ट को भी स्वीकार करता है।

रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड (आरआईएल) मार्केट कैपिटलाइजेशन की अवधि में $ 150 बिलियन डॉलर तक पहुंच गया है। मुकेश अंबानी ने आरआईएल को बाजार पूंजीकरण के मामले में भारत की पहली $ 150 बिलियन की कंपनी बना दिया है।आरआईएल ने इस उपलब्धि को हासिल किया जब इसकी शेयर की कीमत 6.23% बढ़कर 1,759 रुपये पर बंद हुई, जिससे इसका बाजार पूंजीकरण(market capitalisation) 11.15 लाख करोड़ रुपये यानि लगभग 150 बिलियन डॉलर हो गया।

उर्जित पटेल को नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पब्लिक फाइनेंस एंड पॉलिसी (NIPFP) के अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। यह एक economic think tank है जो नई दिल्ली, भारत में स्थित है। उर्जित पटेल की नियुक्ति चार साल की अवधि के लिए की गई है। वह वर्तमान अध्यक्ष विजय केलकर की जगह लेंगे।

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launches ‘Sahakar Mitra’

• The Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Shri Narendra Singh Tomar launched Sahakar Mitra: Scheme on Internship Programme (SIP) to provide paid internship to youth and ensure availability of assured project loans to young cooperators.

• This scheme is an initiative by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare.

• Sahakar Mitra: SIP scheme will provide an opportunity to the young professionals to get practical exposure and learning from the working of NCDC and cooperatives as a paid intern. Under the scheme, each intern will get financial support over a 4 months internship period.

Odisha becomes 1st state to get ISO for tribal hostels

• Odisha has become the first state in the country to receive ISO certification for hostels meant for tribal students. The ST & SC Welfare Department has launched the ‘Mission Suvidya’ project to provide all the tribal hostels of the state uniform standards of infrastructure, amenities and human resources.

• Mission Suvidya has launched in December 2019, it aims to improve the quality of basic facilities in the SC (Scheduled Castes) and ST (Scheduled Tribes) hostels like safe building, functional toilets, safe drinking water, proper kitchen and dining, safety, security, health, hygiene and food provisions for students.

UK’s economy shrinks by record 20.4 percent in April

• The United Kingdom’s economy shrank by record 20.4 percent in April, amid strict , revealed official data on June 12, 2020.

• The record slump in the economy is likely to be the low point before a long and slow recovery, as Britain readies to open up its economy.

• The Office of National Statistics stated that the gross domestic product of Britain contracted by 10.4 percent in the three-month period till April in comparison to the previous three-month period.

• The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has constituted a five-member Internal Working Group (IWG) to review the extant guidelines related to ownership, governance and corporate structure of private sector banks.

• The committee will be headed by Dr. Prasanna Kumar Mohanty, Director, Central Board of RBI. It will submit its report by 30 September, 2020.

केंद्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने राष्ट्रीय सहकारिता विकास निगम (National Cooperative Development Cooperation) की विशेष पहल 'सहकार मित्र: इंटर्नशिप कार्यक्रम (SIP) पर योजना' का शुभारंभ किया है।

एनसीडीसी सहकारी क्षेत्र के लिए अभिनव समाधान प्रदान करने में हमेश ही सक्रिय रहा है। इस योजना युवा प्रोफेशनलों को सवेतन इंटर्न के रूप में एनसीडीसी और सहकारी समितियों के कामकाज से व्यावहारिक अनुभव प्राप्‍त करने एवं सीखने का अवसर मिलेगा। सहकार मित्र अकादमिक संस्थानों के प्रोफेशनलों को किसान उत्पादक संगठनों (Farmers Producers Organizations) के रूप में सहकारी समितियों के माध्यम से नेतृत्व और उद्यमशीलता की भूमिकाओं को विकसित करने का भी अवसर प्रदान करेगा।

ओडिशा छात्रावासों के लिए ISO प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त करने बना देश का पहला राज्य

ओडिशा जनजातीय छात्रों के छात्रावासों के लिए ISO प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त करने वाला देश का पहला राज्य बन गया है। एसटी एंड एससी कल्याण विभाग ने राज्य के सभी आदिवासी छात्रावासों के बुनियादी ढांचे, सुविधाओं और मानव संसाधनों को समान मानक प्रदान करने के लिए 'मिशन सुविधा' परियोजना शुरू की है।

इस पहले चरण में, क्योंझर और संबलपुर जिलों के छात्रावासों का आकलन किया गया। क्योंझर के 156 छात्रावासों में से 60 को गहन हस्तक्षेप के लिए चिन्हित किया गया । मार्च में, प्रमाण देने वाली ऑडिट टीम ने अंतिम मूल्यांकन के लिए कोनझार के 32 छात्रावास और संबलपुर के 12 छात्रों का दौरा किया था। इन सभी 44 छात्रावासों ने मूल्यांकन मापदंडों को पूरा किया है, जिसके बाद इन्हें ISO प्रमाणित किया गया।

ब्रिटेन के जीडीपी मे अप्रैल में 20.4 प्रतिशत की गिरावट

ब्रिटेन की अर्थव्यवस्था में महामारी की रोकथाम के दौरान अप्रैल में रिकॉर्ड 20.4 प्रतिशत की गिरावट आयी। यह ब्रिटेनेकी अर्थव्यवस्था में अब तक की सबसे बड़ी मासिक गिरावट है। हालांकि सरकार का कहना है कि अर्थव्यवस्था जल्दी ही खड़ी हो जाएगी। ब्रिटेन के राष्ट्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालय (ओएनएस) के द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों में सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) में रिकॉर्ड गिरावट का पता चला है। आंकड़ों के अनुसार, ब्रिटेन की अर्थव्यवस्था को कोई भी हिस्सा महामारी से अप्रभावित नहीं बच पाया है। ओएनएस के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, अप्रैल माह के दौरान ब्रिटेन के जीडीपी में 20.4 प्रतिशत की अब तक की सबसे बड़ी मासिक गिरावट दर्ज की गयी। यह 2008-09 के आर्थिक संकट के दौरान आयी गिरावट का करीब तीन गुना है। ब्रिटेन के वित्त मंत्री ऋषि सुनक ने इस बारे में शुक्रवार को कहा कि देश की अर्थव्यवस्था जल्दी वापसी करने को लेकर अच्छी स्थिति में है। उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘दुनिया भर में कई अन्य अर्थव्यवस्थाओं की तरह ही वायरस हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था पर भी गंभीर प्रभाव डाल रहा है।’’ उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘हमने रोजगार सुरक्षा योजना, अनुदानों, ऋण और कर राहतों से हजारों व्यवसायों तथा लाखों नौकरियों को बचाकर अर्थव्यवस्था को सहारा दिया है। इसने हमें अर्थव्यवस्था के खुलने के बाद शीघ्र उबरने के लिये तैयार किया है।’’ सुनक ने कहा, ‘‘हमने धीरे-धीरे और सुरक्षित रूप से अर्थव्यवस्था को फिर से खोलने के लिये अपनी योजना निर्धारित की है। अगले हफ्ते, बाजारों में दुकानें फिर से खुलने में सक्षम होंगी, क्योंकि हम अपने जीवन को सामान्य स्थिति के थोड़ा और करीब लाने में लगे हुए हैं।’’ ओएनएस ने फरवरी से अप्रैल तक के तीन महीनों के आंकड़े भी जारी किया है। इसके अनुसार, कार निर्माता और घर निर्माता सबसे बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुए हैं। इन तीन महीनों के दौरान जीडीपी में 10.4 प्रतिशत की गिरावट आयी है। ओएनएस में उप राष्ट्रीय सांख्यिकीविद् (आर्थिक सांख्यिकी) जोनाथन एथोव ने कहा, "जीडीपी में अप्रैल की गिरावट ब्रिटेन की अब तक की सबसे बड़ी गिरावट है, जो पिछले महीने की तुलना में तीन गुना और महामारी से पहले की गिरावट की तुलना में लगभग 10 गुना बड़ी है।"

RBI ने प्रावि सेक्टर बैंकों की संरचना की समीक्षा करने के लिए आंतरिक कार्यदल का गठन किया

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने निजी क्षेत्र के बैंकों के स्वामित्व, शासन और कॉर्पोरेट संरचना से संबंधित दिशानिर्देशों की समीक्षा के लिए एक पाँच सदस्यीय आंतरिक कार्यदल का गठन किया है।

RBI ने बताया कि RBI सेंट्रल बोर्ड के निदेशक पी। के। मोहंती समिति का मुखिया होगा, जो 30 सितंबर, 2020 तक अपनी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करेगा।
पैनल को बैंकिंग लाइसेंस के लिए आवेदन करने और सभी संबंधित मुद्दों पर सिफारिश करने के लिए व्यक्तियों या संस्थाओं के लिए पात्रता मानदंडों की जांच और समीक्षा करने के लिए भी कहा गया है।

मैनचेस्टर यूनाइटेड के महान खिलाड़ी टोनी ड्यून का निधन

मैनचेस्टर यूनाइटेड के महान खिलाड़ी टोनी ड्यून का 78 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया है। क्लब ने इस बात की पुष्टि ट्विटर के जरिये की। 1960 में आयरलैंड के क्लब शेलबोर्न से मैनचेस्टर यूनाइटेड में शामिल हुए ड्यून ने यूनाइटेड के लिए 535 मुकाबले खेले थे और उन्होंने 1968 में क्लब की यूरोपीय कप जीत में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका भी निभाई थी।

Union Cabinet clears ordinance to create ‘One India, One Agriculture Market’

• The union cabinet chaired by PM Narendra Modi has approved an ordinance on June 3, 2020, that will pave the way for the creation of ‘One India, One Agriculture Market’.

• The ordinance aims at setting up an ecosystem where farmers and traders will have the freedom of choice of sale and purchase of the agricultural produce.

• The Cabinet decision was announced by Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar.

GoI launches “The Urban Learning Internship Program (TULIP)”

• Government of India has launched “The Urban Learning Internship Program (TULIP)”. This programme is an initiative of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, and Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.

• TULIP programme aims to provide internship opportunities to fresh graduates in all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) as well as Smart Cities across the nation.

World food price index hits 17-month low in May 2020: UN

• The United Nations food agency announced on June 4, 2020 that the world food prices fell for the fourth consecutive month in May 2020, hitting a 17-month low.

• The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) food price index averaged 162.5 points in May, the lowest monthly reading since December 2018. The index measures monthly changes in the prices of cereals, dairy products, oilseeds, meat and sugar.

• The dairy price index also dropped by 7.3%, led by sharp falls in prices of butter and cheese, partly because of lower import demand.

• The cereal price index also fell by 1% as coarse grain prices continued to fall with US maize prices falling and wheat export prices falling, amid expectations of ample global supplies. However, international rice prices have edged higher during this period. Rice production reached an all-time high of 508.7 million tonnes in 2020, up by 1.6% from 2019.

• The meat index also slipped 0.8%, as poultry and pig meat prices continued to fall, reflecting high export availabilities and despite an increase in import demand in East Asia.

• संयुक्त राष्ट्र की खाद्य एजेंसी ने 4 जून, 2020 को घोषणा की कि दुनिया की खाद्य कीमतें मई 2020 में लगातार चौथे महीने गिर गईं, 17 महीने के निचले स्तर पर पहुंच गई।

खाद्य और कृषि संगठन (एफएओ) खाद्य मूल्य सूचकांक मई में 162.5 अंक औसतन, दिसंबर 2018 के बाद से सबसे कम मासिक रीडिंग है। सूचकांक अनाज, डेयरी उत्पादों, तिलहन, मांस और चीनी की कीमतों में मासिक बदलाव को मापता है।

• मक्खन और पनीर की कीमतों में तेज गिरावट के कारण डेयरी मूल्य सूचकांक में 7.3% की गिरावट आई, आंशिक रूप से आयात की मांग कम होने के कारण।

अनाज की कीमतों में भी 1% की गिरावट आई क्योंकि मोटे अनाज की कीमतों में अमेरिकी मक्का की कीमतों में गिरावट और गेहूं के निर्यात की कीमतों में गिरावट के साथ गिरावट जारी रही, पर्याप्त वैश्विक आपूर्ति की उम्मीदों के बीच। हालांकि, इस अवधि के दौरान अंतरराष्ट्रीय चावल की कीमतें अधिक हो गई हैं। चावल का उत्पादन 2020 में 508.7 मिलियन टन के उच्च स्तर पर पहुंच गया।

महान फिल्मकार और राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार से सम्मानित बासु चटर्जी का निधन। उन्हें "छोटी सी बात" और "रजनीगंधा" जैसी फिल्मों के लिए जाना जाता था। इसके अलावा उन्होंने दो प्रसिद्ध टीवी धारावाहिकों "ब्योमकेश बख्शी" और "रजनी" का भी निर्देशन किया था।

बासु चटर्जी ने हिंदी फिल्म जगत के साथ-साथ बंगाली सिनेमा में भी काम किया और उनकी कुछ जानी-मानी कृतियों में "खट्टा मीठा", "उस पार", "चितचोर", "बातों बातों में" और "पिया का घर" शामिल हैं। 1992 में उनकी फिल्म दुर्गा के लिए उन्हें परिवार कल्याण के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ फिल्म का राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार मिला था।

प्रख्यात गीतकार अनवर सागर का निधन

दिग्गज गीतकार और इंडियन परफॉर्मिंग राइट सोसाइटी लिमिटेड (IPRS) के सदस्य, अनवर सागर का निधन। वे 1992 की अक्षय कुमार-अभिनय वाली खिलाड़ी फिल्म के हिट ट्रैक वादा रहा सनम के लिए सबसे ज्यादा प्रसिद्ध थे।

इसके अलावा उन्होंने याराना, सलामी, आ गले लग जा और विजयपथ जैसी फिल्मों के भी गीत लिखे हैं। अनवर सागर ने नदीम-श्रवण, राजेश रोशन, जतिन-ललित और अनु मलिक जैसे संगीत निर्देशकों के साथ भी काम किया है।

विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस 2020: मई में वैश्विक CO2 उत्सर्जन रिकॉर्ड उच्च स्तर पर पहुंच गया

प्रत्‍येक वर्ष 5 जून को विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस मनाया जाता है। विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस को मनाए जाने के पीछे उद्देश्य है पर्यावरण के प्रति लोगों में जागरुकता फैलाना। पहली बार संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ द्वारा सन 1972 में विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस मनाया गया। 5 जून 1974 को पहला विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस मनाया गया। विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस मनाने की शुरुआत स्वीडन की राजधानी स्टॉकहोम में हुई। यहां 1972 में पहली बार पर्यावरण सम्मेलन आयोजित किया गया था जिसमें 119 देशों ने भाग लिया था।

पर्यावरण को सुधारने हेतु यह दिवस महत्वपूर्ण है जिसमें पूरा विश्व रास्ते में खड़ी चुनौतियों को हल करने का रास्ता निकालता हैं। लोगों में पर्यावरण जागरूकता को जगाने के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा संचालित विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा वार्षिक आयोजन है। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य हमारी प्रकृति की रक्षा के लिए जागरूकता बढ़ाना और दिन-प्रतिदिन बढ़ रहे विभिन्न पर्यावरणीय मुद्दों को देखना है।

India starts “Mission Sagar” to assist island nations in EIO

The Government of India has launched Mission Sagar on 10 May 2020 as part of it’s outreach initiative towards assisting five Island nations in the Indian Ocean amidst the ongoing current situation.
Under the mission, Indian Naval Ship (INS) Kesari has been deployed, carrying on board two medical assistance teams, essential Food Items and Medicines and Special Ayurvedic Medicines five to Island countries in the Indian Ocean. The five countries are Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar and Comoros.
The mission is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of SAGAR (Security and Growth for All in the Region) and is in line with India’s role as the first responder in the region.

Government hikes its market borrowing to Rs 12 lakh crore from Rs 7.80 lakh crore for FY 21

The Finance Ministry has informed that Government has hiked its estimated gross market borrowing to Rs 12 lakh crore(additional Rs 4.2 lakh crore) from Rs 7.80 lakh crore for Financial Year(FY) 2020-21 as per the Budget Estimates(BE) so as to tackle the expected shortfall in revenue.
The borrowing happens by issuing dated securities and treasury bills, the purchase and sale of which is conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

भारत ने EIO में द्वीप देशों की सहायता के लिए "मिशन सागर" शुरू किया

भारत सरकार ने चल रही महामारी के बीच हिंद महासागर में पांच द्वीप देशों की सहायता करने की दिशा में 10 मई 2020 को मिशन सागर शुरू किया है।
मिशन के तहत, भारतीय नौसेना जहाज (INS) केसरी को तैनात किया गया है, जो दो चिकित्सा सहायता टीमों, आवश्यक खाद्य पदार्थों और संबंधित दवाओं एवं विशेष आयुर्वेदिक दवाओं को हिंद महासागर में पाँच द्वीप देशों तक ले जा रहा है। पांच देश मालदीव, मॉरीशस, सेशेल्स, मेडागास्कर और कोमोरोस हैं।
यह मिशन प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के एसएजीएआर (क्षेत्र में सभी के लिए सुरक्षा और विकास) के दृष्टिकोण से प्रेरित है और इस क्षेत्र में भारत के पहले उत्तरदाता की भूमिका के अनुरूप है।

सरकार ने वित्त वर्ष 2021 के लिए अपने बाजार को 7.80 लाख करोड़ रुपये से 12 लाख करोड़ रुपये तक बढ़ाया

वित्त मंत्रालय ने सूचित किया है कि सरकार ने अपने अनुमानित सकल बाजार को बजट अनुमान (बीई) के अनुसार वित्तीय वर्ष (वित्त वर्ष) 2020-21 के लिए 7.80 लाख करोड़ रुपये से 12 लाख करोड़ रुपये राजस्व में अपेक्षित कमी से निपटने के लिए (अतिरिक्त 4.2 लाख करोड़ रुपये) तक बढ़ा दिया है।
उधार दिनांकित प्रतिभूतियों और ट्रेजरी बिल जारी करने से होता है, जिसकी खरीद और बिक्री भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) द्वारा की जाती है।

• Madhya Pradesh government has launched the “Jivan Shakti Yojana” for women and aims at providing home-based employment for women.

• Under this scheme, women entrepreneurs of urban areas in MP can start the construction of masks by registering themselves on a portal.

JioMart becomes live of WhatsApp

• Following the Facebook-Jio deal, Reliance Industries has now launched its e-commerce platform Jiomart on WhatsApp for retail of grocery items. The JioMart WhatsApp number is 8850008000.

• In order to place order through JioMart, customers need to add this number on their phones. As of now, the JioMart services will be available only in suburban areas of Mumbai

• JioMart, introduced in January 2020, is an Online-to-Offline (O2O) e-Commerce platform of Reliance that deals retail of groceries through local Kirana stores. JioMart is a joint venture between Reliance Retail and Reliance Jio Platforms.

RBI announces Rs 50,000 crore special liquidity support to mutual funds

• The Reserve Bank of India recently allocated Rs 50000 crore funds as a special liquidity facility for mutual funds to ease of the liquidity strains. The closure of some debt Mutual Funds has intensified the liquidity pressure on mutual funds.

• Banks can use the funds available under the SLF-MF for meeting the liquidity requirements of MFs by:

 extending loans, and

 undertaking outright purchase of and/or repos against the collateral of

o investment-grade corporate bonds,

o commercial papers (CPs),

o debentures and

o certificates of Deposit (CDs) held by MFs.

Ind-Ra cuts India's FY21 GDP growth further to 1.9%, lowest in 29 yrs

• India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) has predicted India’s GDP growth rate for 2020-21 (FY21) at 1.9%. Earlier this was 3.6%.

• According to Ind-Ra, India’s GDP growth rate has been in contraction (means negative) for 5 times. These 5 years are-> in 1957-58 was negative 0.4%, in 1965-66 it was negative 2.6%, in 1966-67 it was negative 0.1%, in 1972-73 it was negative 0.6%, and in 1979-80 it was negative 5.2%.

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope Completes 30 Years in Orbit

• The Hubble Space Telescope, built by the United States space agency NASA with contributions from the European Space Agency (ESA), has completed 30th year in orbit on 25 April 2020.

• The Hubble Space Telescope was deployed on 25 April 1990.

• This space telescope was named after American astronomer Edwin P Hubble, who confirmed that our universe was constantly expanding.

India third-largest military spender after US, China in 2019: SIPRI report

•India has become the third-largest military spender in the world after the United States and China, as per Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) report. India and China were for the first time among the top three military spenders.

•India’s military spending grew by 6.8 percent to $71.1 billion in 2019, as per the SIPRO report on “Trends in World Military Expenditure, 2019”. This was the highest expenditure on the military in South Asia.

•The total global military expenditure rose to $1,917 billion in 2019, an increase of 3.6 percent from 2018, the largest annual growth since 2010. The five largest military spenders, including Russia and Saudi Arabia, accounted for 62 percent of the global military expenditure in 2019.

महिलाओं को घर बैठे रोजगार, शिवराज ने लॉन्च की जीवन शक्ति योजना

नगरीय क्षेत्र की महिलाओं को घर बैठे रोजगार देने के लिए मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने 'जीवन शक्ति योजना' लांच की है। योजना के तहत महिलाएं घर में मास्क तैयार करेंगी और सरकार 11 रुपये की दर से सभी मास्क खरीदेगी। मुख्यमंत्री चौहान ने महिलाओं को मास्क की राशि का भुगतान तुरंत करने का भरोसा दिलाया है। योजना में पंजीयन करा चुकी महिलाओं से वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से उन्होंने बात भी की।

वहीं जनता को संक्रमण से बचाने के लिए सरकार को बड़े संख्या में मास्क की जरूरत भी है। इस स्थिति को देखते हुए सरकार ने घर-घर मास्क बनवाने की रणनीति बनाई है। मुख्यमंत्री चौहान ने कई दिन पहले फेसबुक लाइव के माध्यम से प्रदेश की जनता को संबोधित करते हुए इस योजना का जिक्र किया था।

JioMart ने WhatsApp number किया लाइव

तीन दिन पहले दिग्गज टेक कंपनी फेसबुक (Facebook) ने मुकेश अंबानी की रिलायंस जियो में 43,574 करोड़ रुपए के निवेश का बड़ा सौदा किया है। Jio Platforms,Reliance Retail और WhatsApp ने भी एक कर्मिशल पार्टनशिप एग्रीमेंट किया है। इससे आस पास के किराना दुकानदारों को इससे जोड़ा जाएगा। WhatsApp भी फेसबुक इंक के स्वामित्व वाली कंपनी है। भारत में वॉट्सऐप के 40 करोड़ यूजर हैं। फेसबुक और रिलायंस दोनों कपनियां चाहती हैं कि छोटे कारोबारी जियो मार्ट के जरिए अपने प्रोडक्ट की बिक्री करें। जियो मार्ट ने ये सुविधा मुंबई, नवी मुंबई, कल्याण और ठाणे में सर्विस शुरु कर चुकी है।

जियो मार्ट से ऑर्डर करने के लिए ग्राहको को जियो मार्ट के WhatsApp number 88500 08000 को अपने फोन पर जोड़ना होगा। जियोमार्ट ग्राहक के WhatsApp चैट विंडो पर एक लिंक भेजा जाता है। इसकी वैलिडिटी 30 मिनट तक है। लिंक पर ग्राहक को क्लिक करना होगा। इससे एक नया पेज खुलेगा। जिसमें आपको अपना फोन नंबर और पता दर्ज करना होगा। जिसके बाद ऑर्डर करने के लिए प्रोडक्ट्स की एक लंबी लिस्ट मुहैया कराई जाती है। इसमें रिलायंस रिटेल (Reliance Retail) के निजी लेबल के साथ-साथ दूसरे ब्रांड के प्रोडक्ट भी मौजूद हैं।

RBI ने म्यूचुअल फंड्स के लिए शुरू की विशेष ऋण सुविधा, उपलब्ध कराएगा 50000 करोड़ रुपए का लोन

इसकी वजह से फ्रैंकलीन टेम्पकलटन ने अपनी छह ऋण योजनाओं को बंद कर दिया है। जिसकी वजह से म्यूचुअल फंड निवेशकों में घबराहट है। इस घबराहट को कम करने के लिए भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक आगे आया है। केंद्रीय बैंक ने म्यूचुअल फंड्स के लिए एक विशेष ऋण योजना का ऐलान किया है, जिसके तहत उन्हें 50,000 करोड़ रुपए का लोन उपलब्धा कराया जाएगा, ताकि उद्योग में तरलता का संकट न खड़ा हो।

केंद्रीय बैंक ने जारी अपने एक बयान में कहा है कि कोरोना वायरस की वजह से पूंजी बाजारों में अत्यधिक अस्थिरता की वजह से म्यूचुअल फंड्स में तरलता संकट छा गया है। हालांकि इस समय यह संकट उच्च जोखिम वाले ऋण म्यू‍चुअल फंड्स में ही है, जबकि शेष उद्योग में तरलता बनी हुई है।

पहले 3.6 फीसदी था अनुमान

इंडरा के प्रधान अर्थशास्त्री और लोक वित्त के निदेशक सुनील कुमार सिन्हा ने एक रिपोर्ट में कहा कि, 'हमने वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) वृद्धि के अनुमानों की समीक्षा कर इसे 3.6 फीसदी से घटाकर 1.9 फीसदी कर दिया है।' इससे पहले इतनी कम वृद्धि वित्त वर्ष 1991-92 के दौरान थी जब कि जीडीपी केवल 1.1 फीसदी बढ़ा था।

नासा का हबल स्पेस टेलीस्कॉप ऑर्बिट में 30 साल पूरे

• संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका की अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी नासा द्वारा यूरोपीय अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी (ईएसए) के योगदान से निर्मित हबल स्पेस टेलीस्कोप ने 25 अप्रैल 2020 को कक्षा में 30 वां वर्ष पूरा किया है।

• हबल स्पेस टेलीस्कोप को 25 अप्रैल 1990 को तैनात किया गया था।

• इस अंतरिक्ष दूरबीन का नाम अमेरिकी खगोल विज्ञानी एडविन पी हबल के नाम पर रखा गया था, जिन्होंने पुष्टि की थी कि हमारा ब्रह्मांड लगातार विस्तार कर रहा है।

हथियारों पर खर्च करने के मामले में भारत और चीन पहुंचे टॉप पर

यहां तक की इन दोनों देशों ने सैन्य साजो सामान पर खर्च करने में रूस को भी पीछे छोड़ दिया है।ग्लोबल एजेंसी, सिपरी (स्टॉकहोम इंटरनेशनल पीस रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट) की ताजा रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, चीन और भारत हथियार और दूसरे सैन्य साजो सामान पर खर्च करने में अमेरिका के बाद दूसरे और तीसरे नंबर पर है। रूस चौथे और सऊदी अरब पांचवे नंबर पर है। रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, वर्ष 2019 में अमेरिका ने कुल 732 बिलियन डॉलर यानि करीब करीब 56 लाख करोड़ रूपये खर्च किए, जो वैश्विक मिलिट्री-खर्च का 38 प्रतिशत है।

चीन ने एक साल में 261 बिलियन डॉलर अपनी सेना और सैन्य साजो सामान पर खर्च किए, यानि करीब 19 लाख करोड़. वही भारत ने वर्ष 2019 में 71.1 बिलियन डॉलर यानि करीब साढ़े पांच लाख करोड़ रूपये खर्च किए जो पिछले साल यानि 2018 के मुकाबले में 6.8 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी थी। 2019 में भारत का ग्लोबल मिलिट्री-खर्च में 3.7 प्रतिशत की हिस्सेदारी थी, जबकि चीन की 14 प्रतिशत है। वहीं पांचवे नंबर पर पहुंच चुके रूस की हिस्सेदारी 3.4 प्रतिशत है।

Section 115BAC of IT Act, 1961

• Section 115BAC was recently inserted into the Income-tax Act, 1961, which states that an individual or a person belonging to an undivided family earning income other than the business or profession may opt to be taxed and furnish his or her Income Tax Return under sub-section (I) of Section 139 of IT Act.

• The Section 115BAC provides a concessional rate, if the total income is computed without any specified exemption or deduction.

UP becomes first state to geo-tag community kitchens

• Uttar Pradesh became the first state on April 19, 2020 to geo-tag community kitchens. The state geo-tagged around 7,368 community kitchens and community shelters located across 75 districts. The kitchens produce 12 lakh food packets per day.

• The state has also tied up with Google to 'Geo-map' the locations of all these community kitchens on the Google Maps app for ease of the beneficiaries. The state government mobilised state resources to set up the kitchens through the medium of religious organisations and non-government organisations.

China begins testing of digital currency – DC/EP

• People’s Bank of China (Central Bank of China) has started testing its digital currency named Digital Currency Electronic Payment, DC/EP.

• It is built with Blockchain and Cryptographic technology. The currency is pegged 1:1 to the Chinese National Currency – the RenMinBi (RMB).

• China’s official digital currency is undergoing testing and has not been officially released.

यूपी भू-टैग समुदाय रसोई का पहला राज्य बना-

• उत्तर प्रदेश 19 अप्रैल, 2020 को भू-टैग समुदाय रसोई के लिए पहला राज्य बना। राज्य ने 75 जिलों में स्थित लगभग 7,368 सामुदायिक रसोई और सामुदायिक आश्रयों को जियो-टैग किया। रसोई में प्रति दिन 12 लाख खाद्य पैकेट का उत्पादन होता है।

• राज्य ने लाभार्थियों की आसानी के लिए Google मैप्स ऐप पर इन सभी सामुदायिक रसोई के स्थानों को 'भू-मानचित्र' के साथ Google के साथ भी जोड़ा है। राज्य सरकार ने धार्मिक संगठनों और गैर-सरकारी संगठनों के माध्यम से रसोई स्थापित करने के लिए राज्य संसाधन जुटाए।

चीन के केंद्रीय बैंक ने अपनी आधिकारिक डिजिटल मुद्रा का परीक्षण शुरू कर दिया है, जिसके बाद एक आभासी मुद्रा भुगतान प्रणाली को रोल-आउट करने की योजना को आगे बढ़ाते हुए, फेसबुक समर्थित तुला ने वैश्विक मुद्रा बनने की अपनी महत्वाकांक्षाओं को वापस ले लिया। पीपुल्स बैंक ऑफ चाइना के डिजिटल मुद्रा अनुसंधान संस्थान (पीबीसी), चीन के केंद्रीय बैंक ने कहा कि डीसी/ ईपी के रूप में डब की गई चीन की आधिकारिक डिजिटल मुद्रा का अनुसंधान और विकास कार्य लगातार आगे बढ़ रहा है, और आंतरिक पायलट परीक्षण किए जाते हैं। चार शहरों में और बीजिंग में 2022 शीतकालीन ओलंपिक खेलों के परिदृश्य में किया जाएगा।

फिच सॉल्युशन ने भारत के GDP ग्रोथ अनुमान में भारी कटौती करते हुए इस वित्त वर्ष में महज 1.8 फीसदी बढ़त का अनुमान लगाया है।

सोमवार को वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 के लिए भारत की आर्थिक वृद्धि दर के पूर्वानुमानों में कटौती करते हुए फिच सॉल्युशन ने इसे 1.8 फीसदी कर दिया। फिच ने पहले जीडीपी में 4.6 फीसदी के बढ़त का अनुमान लगाया था।

कार कंपनी बीएमडब्ल्यू इंडिया के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ) रुद्रतेज सिंह का सोमवार सुबह दिल का दौरा पड़ने के बाद निधन हो गया। बीएमडब्ल्यू ग्रुप इंडिया ने कंपनीके मुख्य वित्त अधिकारी आरलिंदो टिक्जीरिया को सिंह की जगह कार्यवाहक अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है। कंपनी ने एक बयान में कहा, ‘‘ बीएमडब्ल्यू इंडिया को अपार पीड़ा के साथ अपने 46 वर्षीय अध्यक्ष और सीईओ रुद्रतेज सिंह का 20 अप्रैल 2020 को निधन होने का समार देना पड़ रहा है।’’ यद्यपि कंपनी ने सिंह की मृत्यु का कारण नहीं बताया है।

कार्मिक मंत्रालय के एक आदेश के अनुसार आईएएस अधिकारी कपिलदेव त्रिपाठी को सोमवार को राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद का सचिव नियुक्त किया गया है। असम-मेघालय कैडर के 1980 बैच के आईएएस (सेवानिवृत्त) अधिकारी त्रिपाठी इस समय लोक उद्यम चयन बोर्ड (पीईएसबी) के अध्यक्ष हैं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता वाली कैबिनेट की नियुक्ति समिति ने संविदा आधार पर त्रिपाठी को कोविंद का सचिव नियुक्त किया है। उनका कार्यकाल राष्ट्रपति के कार्यकाल के समान ही होगा।

India removes ban on export of Paracetamol formulations

• The Central Government recently removed the ban on the export of formulations that are made from Paracetamol. The information was shared in a notification released by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).

• The formulations including the fixed-dose combinations will now be made available with immediate effect for export purpose.

Banking and Economy

RBI cuts reverse repo rate by 25 bps to 3.75%, announces Rs 50,000 crore TLTRO 2.0

• On 17 April 2020, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das took several important decisions to ensure adequate liquidity in the system to ease the financial stress.

• RBI has decided to undertake targeted long-term repo operations (TLTRO-2.0) for total amount of Rs 50,000 crore to begin with in tranches of appropriate sizes. RBI might increase this amount in future as per requirement.

• The funds availed by banks under TLTRO-2.0 should be invested in grade bonds, Commercial Papers, Non-Convertible Debentures of NBFCs with at least 50% going to mid-sized NBFCs and MFIs.

• RBI has announced the allocation of Rs 50,000 crore as special refinance facilities to All India financial institutions (AIFIs) such as NABARD, SIDBI, NHB to enable them to meet sectoral credit needs. These advances to the above organizations will be charged as per the RBI policy repo rate of 4.40%.

• Out of total allocation of Rs 50,000 crore, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) will receive the amount of Rs 25,000 crore for the refinancing of Regional Rural Banks, cooperative banks and microfinance institutions.

• Out of total allocation of Rs 50,000 crore,Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) will receive Rs 15,000 crore or on-lending and refinancing to scheduled commercial banks, non-banks and microfinance institutions.

• The National Housing Bank will receive Rs 10,000 crore to support housing finance companies.

• RBI has also decided to reduce the reverse repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) by 25 basis points from 4% to 3.75% with immediate effect while the policy repo rate will remain unchanged at 4.4%, Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) rate and the Bank rate will remain unchanged at 4.65%.

• The RBI has increased the ways and means advances (WMA) limit of states by 60% over and above the level as on March 31, 2020. The increased limit will be available till September 30, 2020.

• In respect of all accounts for which lending institutions decide to grant moratorium or deferment, and which were standard as on March 1, 2020, it has been decided that the 90-day NPA norm shall exclude the moratorium period. It indicates that there would an asset classification standstill for all such accounts from March 1, 2020 to May 31, 2020.

• RBI decides to extend the period for resolution plan by 90-days, citing the challenges faced during the resolution of stressed assets in the current volatile environment.

• RBI has refrained the scheduled commercial banks and cooperative banks from making any further dividend payouts from profits pertaining to the financial year ended March 31, 2020 until the further instructions.

• To ease the liquidity position at the level of individual institutions, the RBI has brought down the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) requirement for Scheduled Commercial Banks from 100% to 80% with immediate effect.

NASA discovers habitable zone planet 300 light years away

• NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope has discovered an Earth-sized planet in a habitable zone around a star that could support liquid water. The exoplanet, named as Kepler-1649c, was discovered by a team of of transatlantic scientists.

• The findings are based on the data provided by Kepler as well as Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS).

सरकार ने पेरासिटामोल से तैयार फार्मूलेशंस के निर्यात से प्रतिबंध हटाया

विदेश व्यापार महानिदेशालय (डीजीएफटी) ने एक अधिसूचना में कहा, ‘‘पेरासिटामोल से बनने वाले फार्मूलेशंस (फिक्स्ड डोज मिश्रण) के निर्यात से प्रतिबंध हटा लिया गया है। हालांकि पेरासिटामोल बनाने में काम आने वाले माल के निर्यात पर रोक जारी रहेगी।’’ प्रतिबंध की श्रेणी के तहत आने वाली वस्तुओं के निर्यात के लिए निर्यातकों को डीजीएफटी से अनापत्ति प्रमाणपत्र या लाइसेंस की आवश्यकता होती है। सरकार ने पेरासिटामोल समेत 26 दवाओं के निर्यात पर तीन मार्च को प्रतिबंध लगा दिया था। बाद में छह अप्रैल को सरकार ने 24 दवाओं में प्रयुक्त होने वाले रसायनों और फार्मूलेशंस के निर्यात से रोक हटा ली थी। इसमें पेरासिटामोल को छोड़ दिया गया था। भारत ने अप्रैल-जनवरी 2019-20 के दौरान 5.41 अरब डॉलर के पेरासिटामोल फार्मूलेशंस का निर्यात किया था। जबकि 2018-19 में इसका कुल निर्यात 5.8 अरब डॉलर था। पेरासिटामोल का सामान्यत: उपयोग बुखार और बदनदर्द के इलाज में किया जाता है।

बैंकिंग और अर्थव्यवस्था

RBI ने रिवर्स रेपो रेट में की 0.25 फीसद की कटौती, लिक्विडिटी मैनेजमेंट के लिए देगा 50,000 करोड़ रुपये

इस दौरान उन्होंने कई बड़े एलान किए। केन्द्रीय बैंक ने रिवर्स रेपो रेट को 4 फीसद से घटाकर 3.75 फीसद कर दिया और रेपो रेट को बरकरार रखा। गवर्नर ने कहा कि वैश्विक मंदी के अनुमान के बीच भारत की विकास दर अब भी पॉजिटिव रहने का अनुमान है और IMF के मुताबिक यह 1.9 फीसद रहेगी। नाबार्ड, सिडबी और नेशनल हाउसिंग बैंक के लिए आरबीआई ने राहत की घोषणा की। नाबार्ड, सिडबी और नेशनल हाउसिंग बैंक को 50000 करोड़ की मदद का एलान किया गया। नाबार्ड को स्पेशल रिफाइनेंस के तहत 25,000 करोड़ रुपये मिलेंगे।

TLTRO के जरिए सिस्टयम में 50,000 करोड़ रुपये: आरबीआई TLTRO के जरिए सिस्टम में 50,000 करोड़ रुपये डालेगा। गवर्नर ने कहा कि ATM 91 फीसद क्षमता के साथ काम कर रहे हैं। सिस्टम में लिक्विडिटी बनाए रखने के लिए आरबीआई ने नए कदमों का एलान किया। बैंक क्रेडिट फ्लो में छूट के लिए नए प्रस्तावों पर विचार किया गया। 27 मार्च के बाद लिक्विडिटी में तेजी से बढ़ोत्तकरी हुई है। स्टिल अकाउंट्स पर बैंकों को 10 फीसदी की प्रोविजनिंग मेनटेन करना होगा।

भारत की जीडीपी ग्रोथ रेट 1.9 फीसद रहने की उम्मीद: दास ने कहा कि वैश्विक अर्थव्येवस्थाल भारी मंदी में जा सकती है। उन्होंने कहा कि 27 मार्च के बाद मैक्रोइकोनॉमिक गतिविधियों में कमी आई। गवर्नर ने भारत की जीडीपी ग्रोथ रेट 1.9 फीसद रहने की उम्मीद जताई। गौरतलब है कि मार्च में सर्विसेज पीएमआई में गिरावट दर्ज की गई। मार्च 2020 में निर्यात की स्थिति भी काफी ज्यादा खराब रही है। इसके अलावा बैंक और कोऑपरेटिव बैंक किसी डिविडेंड का भुगतान नहीं करेंगे। अगर किसी ऐसी वजह से रियल्टी प्रॉजेक्ट में देरी होती है जिसे कंट्रोल नहीं किया जा सकता तो NBFCs लोन को 1 साल के लिए बढ़ा सकते हैं।

वैज्ञानिकों ने सौरमंडल के बाहर पृथ्वी जैसे ग्रह का पता लगाया

नासा के वैज्ञानिकों के एक समूह ने पृथ्वी के आकार के एक गैर-सौरीय ग्रह की परिक्रमा की है. उन्होंने इस ग्रह का नाम केपलर-1658 बी रखा है। वैज्ञानिकों के मुताबिक यह ग्रह पृथ्वी से लगभग 300 प्रकाश वर्ष दूर मौजूद है। इसके आकार के साथ-साथ इसकी सतह के तापमान की तुलना भी पृथ्वी से की जा रही है। दावा किया जा रहा है कि यह पृथ्वी से 1.6 गुना बड़ा है, और इसे सूर्य से 75 प्रतिशत प्रकाश प्राप्त हो रहा है, जो दर्शाता है कि इसका ग्रह पर तापमान पृथ्वी से ज्यादा अलग नहीं होगा।

नासा के केपलर अंतरिक्ष टेलिस्कोप ने पहले ही इस गैर सौरीय ग्रह के सच में मौजूद होने की पुष्टि की थी। अमेरिका की यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ हवाई के अनुसंधानकर्ताओं ने केपलर-1658 बी के तौर पर पहचाने जाने वाले इस बाहरी ग्रह को बृहस्पति ग्रह के समान बताया था।
