Right to health is a human right: Himachal High Court

Himachal Pradesh has given a landmark decision by directing central government to provide full medical benefits, including reimbursements of medical emergencies, to employees post-retirement. The court ruled that right to health is a human right and questioned as how could the government, a principal employer, abdicate the responsibility of taking care of the health of its retired employees. And if not taken care then it will be the violation of Article 14,16 and 21.
