Reliance Comm Launches Unlimit to provide IoT Solutions
Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group on Tuesday launched UNLIMIT, an independent unit, which will provide Internet of Things (IoT) services.
● Reliance Group, including its mobile network, has partnered with Cisco Jasper for the launch of this venture.
● With this, Reliance becomes the first telco in India to have an independent IoT unit.
● Reliance Communication's mobile networks and cloud services along with Cisco Jasper 's IoT connectivity management platform aim to provide a fill suite of solutions for smart city initiatives throughout India, a statement said.
● The new IoT services aim to enable business transformation for companies in India and also play a key role in the Digital India project.
● Companies using the Cisco Jasper platform outside of India can expand their connected services into India on Reliance's network.
● RCom’s merger of MTS with itself and the ongoing merger of its wireless business with Aircel will make the new entity’s 2G and 3G network more powerful.
रिलायंस ग्रुप ने 15 नवंबर 2016 को इंटरनेट आफ थिंग्स (आईओटी) सेवा उद्यम ‘अनलिमिट’ आरम्भ करने का निर्णय लिया. अनिल अंबानी प्रवर्तित रिलायंस ग्रुप सिस्को जेसपर के साथ इंटरनेट आफ थिंग्स (आईओटी) सेवा उद्यम ‘अनलिमिट’ का शुभारम्भ करेगा.इस सम्बन्ध में रिलायंस ग्रुप ने रणनीतिक भागीदारी की घोषणा की है.
● इंटरनेट आफ थिंग्स (आईओटी) भारत में उद्यमी ग्राहकों हेतु सेवा उपलब्ध कराएगा.
● रिलायंस ग्रुप के समूह प्रबंध निदेशक अमिताभ झुनझुनवाला के अनुसार भारत में कनेक्टेड डिवाइसों की संख्या 2020 तक बढ़कर लगभग तीन अरब होने का अनुमान है. जो इस समय 20 करोड़ है.
● भारत में इंटरनेट आफ थिंग्स (आईओटी) सेवाओं हेतु बड़ी संभावनाएं हैं.
● अनुमान के अनुसार देश में आईओटी सेवाओं से कारोबार भी 5.6 अरब डालर से बढकर 2020 तक बढ़कर 15 अरब डालर होने की उम्मीद है.
● रिलायंस ग्रुप ने अनलिमिट का मुख्य कार्याधिकारी जुएरगन हेस को नियुक्त किया है.
● रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज़ लिमिटेड का मुख्यालय मुंबई, महाराष्ट्र में है.
● यह कंपनी पांच प्रमुख क्षेत्रों में कार्यरत है, जिनमे पेट्रोलियम अन्वेषण और उत्पादन, पेट्रोलियम शोधन और विपणन, पेट्रोकेमिकल्स, खुदरा तथा दूरसंचार है.
