Raisina Dialogue Conducted
The first Raisina-Dialogue 2017, a flagship conference on Geopolitics and Geo-economics began in New Delhi.
● The three day conference is joint initiative of Union Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Observer Research Foundation (ORF), an independent think tank based in India.
● The geo-political conference was attended by over 250 delegates from 65 countries.
● The theme of Raisina-Dialogue 2017 is “The New Normal: Multilateralism in a multipolar world”.
● It will enable the MEA to reach out to a wider international multi-disciplinary audience.
● It will focus on Asia’s economic, physical, human and digital connectivity and shall attempt to discover challenges and opportunities for the region to manage its common spaces.
● It will provide platform to explore prospects and opportunities for Asian integration as well as Asia’s Integration with the whole world.
विदेश मंत्रालय द्वारा नई दिल्ली में आयोजित तीन दिवसीय कार्यक्रम रायसीना डॉयलॉग का प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 17 जनवरी 2017 को उद्घाटन किया. इस वर्ष का विषय था, “नवीन सामान्य: एक बहुध्रुवीय विश्व में बहुपक्षवाद”.
● इस भौगोलिक-राजनैतिक सम्मेलन में 65 देशों के 250 प्रतिनिधि भाग लिया.
● विदेश सचिव एस जयशंकर ने पाकिस्तान का नाम लिए बिना कहा कि सार्क देशों के गठबंधन में एक देश के कारण पूरा गठबंधन असुरक्षित महसूस करता है.
● उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले दो वर्षों में भारत और रूस के मध्य संबंध पहले की अपेक्षा और मजबूत हुए हैं.
● विदेश सचिव ने कहा कि वे अमेरिका के नवनिर्वाचित राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प एवं उनकी टीम से लगातार संपर्क में हैं तथा बेहतर संबंधों की कल्पना करते हैं.
● वर्ष 2008 से अब तक भारत ने अमेरिका में तकनीक और व्यापार के क्षेत्र में अभूतपूर्व तरीके से निवेश किया है.
