Pulkit Trivedi appointed as Industry Director of Facebook India
Pulkit Trivedi was on 12 December 2016 appointed as Industry Director of Facebook India for e-commerce, retail, travel and financial services verticals.
● Trivedi will lead in building and maintaining strategic relationships with clients in India.
● Recently, Pulkit held the position of Head of Industry and e-commerce at Google India.
● He has over 18 years of extensive industry experience covering sales, business development and partnerships in companies such as Google, Intel, Microsoft IBM and HCL.
● He had been in Google since April 2012 and was responsible for driving a large business for Google India.
● His first big break came in 2003 at IBM where he was given charge of a multi-million-dollar project.
● He also taught Consumer Behaviour at IIT Roorkee for four years.
● He is an MBA from BITS Mesra and was featured in the Hottest Young Business Leaders under 40 in India by Business Today in 2015.
फेसबुक ने 12 दिसम्बर 2016 को ई-वाणिज्य, खुदरा, यात्रा और वित्तीय सेवा खंडों के लिए पुलकित तिवारी को फेसबुक इंडिया का इंडस्ट्री निदेशक नियुक्त किया है.
● पुलकित कई बड़ी कंपनियों के लिए काम कर चुके हैं.
● फेसबुक के अनुसार अपनी नई भूमिका में त्रिवेदी देश में ग्राहकों के साथ रणनीतिक संबंधों को बनाए रखेंगे और उसे मजबूत बनाएंगे.
● पुलकित इससे पहले, गूगल, इंटेल, माइक्रोसॉफ्ट, आईबीएम और एचसीएल जैसी कंपनियों में विभिन्न पदों पर काम कर चुके हैं.
● उन्होंने सबसे पहले 2003 में आईबीएम में एक बड़े प्रोजेक्ट पर काम किया था.
● वे आईआईटी रुड़की में चार वर्षों तक उपभोक्ता व्यवहार पढ़ाते थे.
● उन्होंने बिट्स मेसरा से एमबीए किया तथा उन्हें 2015 में बिज़नस टुडे द्वारा 40 वर्ष से कम आयु वाले सबसे आकर्षक बिज़नस लीडरों की सूची में स्थान मिला.
