Noted Malayalam author and short story writer Akbar Kakkattil passed away. He was 62.
About Akbar Kakkattil:
* He has 54 books shockingly which incorporates, four books, 27 short stories, six accumulations of expositions, seven novelettes, a play, among others.
* He was the Vice-President of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi and Member of Malayalam Advisory Panel of National Book Trust and Malayalam Advisory Board of Kerala Government.
* He had filled in as an individual from the representing group of South Zone Cultural Center of the Union government and Kerala State Institute of Children's writing.
* He was likewise an individual from Malayalam Advisory Board of Kendra Sahitya Akademi and Convener of Publication Committee, Kerala Sahitya Akademi.
