NMDC Signs MoU with MP
The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) Limited signed a tripartite MoU with Madhya Pradesh government and Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation Limited (MPSMCL) in Bhopal.
● The MoU was signed by Manohar Dubey, secretary, Mineral Resources Department & MD, MPSMCL on behalf of MPSMCL, PK Satpathy, Director (Production) on behalf of NMDC Limited and V Austin on behalf of Directorate of Geology and Mines, MP in presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
● The MoU is for geological & geophysical exploration of various minerals in Madhya Pradesh, NMDC made intentions to invest during the Global Investors Summit held in October for exploration for different minerals in Madhya Pradesh over an area of 7200 square kilometers.
● As per the MOU, on successful establishment of mineral blocks through this proposed exploration, NMDC would be forming a JV with MPSMCL with equity 51:49 (NMDC- MPSMCL) for mining of such blocks.
राष्ट्रीय खनिज विकास निगम (एनएमडीसी) ने मध्य प्रदेश सरकार और भोपाल में स्टेट माइनिंग कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड के साथ एक त्रिपक्षीय समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
● समझौता ज्ञापन पर मनोहर दुबे, सचिव, खनिज साधन विभाग एवं प्रबंध निदेशक, पीके सत्पथी, निदेशक एनएमडीसी लिमिटेड और वी ऑस्टिन भूविज्ञान और खान डायरेक्टरेट द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान की उपस्थिति में हस्ताक्षर किया गया।
● ये समझौता ज्ञापन पर मध्य प्रदेश में विभिन्न खनिजों के भूवैज्ञानिक और भूभौतिकीय अन्वेषण के लिए, एनएमडीसी ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टर्स समिट में 7200 वर्ग किलोमीटर के एक क्षेत्र में मध्य प्रदेश में विभिन्न खनिजों के अन्वेषण के इरादे से बनाया है।
● समझौता ज्ञापन के अनुसार, इस प्रस्तावित अन्वेषण के माध्यम से खनिज ब्लॉकों के सफल स्थापना पर, एनएमडीसी ऐसे ब्लॉक के खनन के लिए इक्विटी 51:49 (एनएमडीसी- एमपीएसएमसीएल) के साथ एक संयुक्त उद्यम के गठन के साथ किया जाएगा।
