Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Nalanda to Celebrate its Glorious 65th Foundation Anniversary On 20th November
Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Nalanda Deemed University, Nalanda is going to celebrate its glorious 65th foundation Anniversary on 20th November, in which Shri Ramnath Kovind, the Governor of Bihar would be the Chief Guest.
● Prof. Lokesh Chandra, a renowned scholar of Indology and Buddhism and the President of Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi will be the Guest of Honour, who will deliver the Special lecture on “Genesis of Nalanda Mahavihara (University)”.
● The Vice Chancellor Shri M. L. Srivastava will distribute certificates of excellence to the students for achieving ranks in the various events of the university like sports, speech completions and regular examinations.
● On this occasion two books one, written by Dr. Shriknat Singh, titled “Interface Between Buddhism & English Literature” and two, Dr. H.K. Tiwari, titled “NaiKavita : VividhParidrishya ” will be released by the Governor of Bihar.
● Inaugural programme will be followed by a cultural programme to be performed by the students of the Mahavihara.
नालंदा का नव नालंदा महाविहार, नालंदा डीम्ड विश्वविद्यालय 20 नवम्बर को अपना 65वां गौरवशाली स्थापना वार्षिकोत्सव मनाने जा रहा है।
● इस अवसर पर बिहार के राज्यपाल श्री रामनाथ कोविंद मुख्य अतिथि होंगे।
● इंडोलॉजी और बौद्ध धर्म के प्रख्यात विद्वान और नई दिल्ली की भारतीय सांस्कृतिक संबंध परिषद (आईसीसीआर) के अध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर लोकेश चंद्रा सम्मानित अतिथि होंगे।
● कार्यक्रम में प्रोफेसर चंद्रा "नालंदा महाविहार (विश्वविद्यालय) की उत्पत्ति" पर विशेष व्याख्यान देंगे।
● कुलपति श्री एम एल श्रीवास्तव विश्वविद्यालय की विभिन्न प्रतिस्पर्धाओं जैसे खेल, भाषण और नियमित परीक्षाओं में विशेष स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले छात्रों को उत्कृष्टता के प्रमाण पत्र वितरित करेंगे।
● इस अवसर पर बिहार के राज्यपाल द्वारा दो पुस्तकों को विमोचन भी किया जाएगा।
● इनमें से एक डॉ श्रीकांत सिंह द्वारा लिखित "इंटरफेस बिटवीन बुद्धिज्म एंड इंग्लिश लिटरेचर" और डॉ एच.के तिवारी की "नई कविता: विविध परिदृश्य" है।
● इस मौके पर, महाविहार के छात्रों द्वारा एक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम का भी प्रदर्शन किया जाएगा।
