Mann ki Baat kisoske to be set up in 8 cities
The government has announced plans to establish 'Mann Ki Baat' kiosks in eight cities across India this month to increase public participation in PM Narendra Modi’s radio programme.
• The kiosks, which will allow people make calls to PM Modi and give suggestions, will be set up in Haridwar, Gorakhpur, Indore, Puducherry, Dehradun, Udaipur, Bhilwara and Chennai in the initial phase.
• After a toll-free helpline and a website, the government is now scaling up the public participation effort in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat programme by setting up kiosks in cities to get people to call in.
• The PM's aides handling the programme told ET that much younger people and from a wider regional base are now calling in with their suggestions on the toll-free number.
• The PMO has now decided to upscale efforts of seeking such suggestions by setting up.
सरकार प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के रेडियो कार्यक्रम में जनता की भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए इसी महीने भारत भर में आठ शहरों में ' मन की बात' कियोस्क स्थापित करने के योजना की घोषणा की है ।
• कीओस्क का इस्तेमाल लोग मोदी को कॉल करने और सुझाव देने के लिए कर सकते हैं. प्रारंभिक चरण में इसे हरिद्वार, गोरखपुर, इंदौर , पुडुचेरी , देहरादून , उदयपुर, भीलवाड़ा और चेन्नई में स्थापित किया जाएगा ।
• एक टोल फ्री हेल्पलाइन और एक वेबसाइट के बाद सरकार ने अब तक प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के मन की बात कार्यक्रम में जनता की भागीदारी को बढाने के लिए लोगों को ये सुविधा देने की घोषणा की है जिससे लोग सीधे तौर पर प्रधानमन्त्री से जुड़ सकते हैं ।
• कार्यक्रम को सँभालने वाले और प्रधानमंत्री के सहयोगियों ने ईटी को बताया की अब ज्यादा युवा एक व्यापक क्षेत्रीय आधार से टोल फ्री नंबर पर अपने सुझाव देने के लिए आगे आ रहे हैं।
• पीएमओ अब की स्थापना करके इस तरह के सुझावों की मांग के upscale प्रयासों का फैसला किया है ।
