Lotus field in China - World's largest field
The largest lotus field is 1.08 km² and was achieved by Guangchang County CPC Committee and Guangchang County People's Government (both China) in Guangchang, Jiangxi, China on 9 July 2016.
• The total area of lotus plantation is more than 60 km² in Guangchang. The total output is about 8 million kg per year.
• Official Guinness World Records adjudicator Maggie Luo presented a certificate to Guangchang County CPC Committee and Guangchang County People's Government earlier this month.
• The people of Guangchang applied for this record because they wanted to promote their planting products and attract tourists to the area.
• Agriculture is a vital industry in China, employing over 300 million farmers.
• China ranks first in worldwide farm output, primarily producing rice, wheat, potatoes, tomato, sorghum, peanuts, tea, millet, barley, cotton, oilseed and soybeans.
• Although accounting for only 10 percent of arable land worldwide, it produces food for 20 percent of the world's population.
सबसे बड़ा कमल के फूल का क्षेत्र 1.08 वर्ग किमी है जो गुंग्चंग काउंटी सीपीसी समिति और गुन्ग्चंग काउंटी के लोगों के सरकार द्वारा गुन्ग्चंग, जिंग्क्सी, चाइना में 9 जुलाई 2016 बनाया गया ।
• कमल वृक्षारोपण का कुल क्षेत्रफल गुंग्चाग में 60 वर्ग किमी से भी अधिक है । इसका कुल उत्पादन प्रति वर्ष लगभग 8 लाख किलोग्राम है।
• गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड्स के अधिनिर्णायक मैगी लुओ ने इस महीने गुंग्चंग काउंटी सीपीसी समिति गुंग्चंग काउंटी लोगों की सरकार को एक प्रमाण पत्र प्रस्तुत किया।
• गुंग्चंग के लोगों ने इस रिकॉर्ड के लिए आवेदन किया था क्योंकि वे अपने रोपण के उत्पादों को बढ़ावा देना चाहते थे और इस क्षेत्र में पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करना चाहते थे ।
• कृषि चीन में एक महत्वपूर्ण उद्योग है, ये 300 करोड़ किसानों को रोजगार देता है।
• चीन दुनिया भर में कृषि उत्पादन में पहले स्थान पर है, मुख्य रूप से चावल, गेहूं, आलू, टमाटर, बाजरा, मूंगफली, चाय, बाजरा, जौ, कपास, तिलहन और सोयाबीन के मामले में।
• दुनिया भर में कृषि योग्य भूमि का केवल 10 प्रतिशत हिस्सा ही चाइना के पास है लेकिन ये दुनिया भर की 20 प्रतिशत आबादी के लिए भोजन पैदा करता है।
