Lionel Messi has been named La Liga player award.

 Lionel Messi has been named La Liga player of the month for January. Interestingly he has won the recompense for the first time. Messi scored six times that month, nine times in March 2014 (counting continuous cap traps), five in October 2014, nine the next month, seven in February 2015 and four times last December.

The Barcelona forward was regarded at the 23rd time of asking subsequent to scoring six objectives in the same number of group diversions in January. The recompense has been given out following the start of the 2013-14 Primera Division season yet the five-times Ballon d'Or Award had not won it as of not long ago. Cristiano Ronaldo has won the recompense twice since it started in September 2013, as have the Atlético pair Diego Godín and Antoine Griezmann and the Real Sociedad striker Carlos Vela.
