LAMITYE 2016, a joint military exercise between India and Seychelles .
It will be a 2-week long practice till 28th February 2016 and directed at Seychelles Defense Academy (S.D.A.) in Victoria, Seychelles.
Elements of Exercise LAMITYE 2016:
* LAMITYE, which implies companionship in Creole tongue, will be led to the point of improving military participation and interoperability between the two nations with cooperation.
* LAMITYE 2016 is the seventh semiannual activity since its beginning in 2001.
* In 2016 activity, the Indian unforeseen will include an Infantry company and delegates from the Special Forces.
* The S.P.D.F. will be represented by 20 staff from Tazar (Special Forces Unit) and 32 from Seychelles Infantry.
* The closing period of the activity will join a strategic activity will be seen by senior military officers from both the countries.
