Justice G C Gupta and Justice Mohan M Shantanagoudar - New CJs of HCs of Kolkata and Kerala Respectively
Justice Mohan M Shantanagoudar was sworn in as Chief Justice of Kerala High Court as per Article 219 of the Constitution.
• He was administered oath to office by the Governor Justice (Retd) P. Sathasivam at a function held at Raj Bhavan.
• He was born on 5 May 1958 in Chikkerur, Haveri District, Karnataka.
• Initially, he had practiced at the Karnataka High Court as an advocate, later appointed as the Additional Judge in 2003.
• Justice G C Gupta has sworn-in as Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court.
• He was administered oath by West Bengal governor Kesari Nath Tripathi as per Article 219 of Constitution.
• Justice G C Gupta was born on December one, 1954. He was enrolled as an Advocate in September, 1982.
• He had practiced in the Calcutta High Court for 17 years in civil, constitutional, company, arbitration and commercial matters.
न्यायमूर्ति मोहन एम शंतानागौदर संविधान के अनुच्छेद 219 के अनुसार केरल उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में शपथ ली थी।
• राजभवन में आयोजित एक समारोह में राज्यपाल न्यायमूर्ति (सेवानिवृत्त) पी सतशिवम ने पद के लिए शपथ दिलाई।
• उनका जन्म चिक्केरुर, हावेरी जिला, कर्नाटक में 5 मई 1958 को हुआ था।
• प्रारंभ में, वह एक वकील, थे बाद में 2003 में अतिरिक्त न्यायाधीश के रूप में कर्नाटक उच्च न्यायालय में उन्होंने अभ्यास किया।
• न्यायाधीश जी सी गुप्ता ने कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में शपथ ली है ।
• उन्हें संविधान के अनुच्छेद 219 के अनुसार पश्चिम बंगाल के राज्यपाल केसरी नाथ त्रिपाठी ने शपथ दिलाई।
• न्यायाधीश जी सी गुप्ता एक दिसंबर 1954 को पैदा हुए थे. 1982 में वो वकील बनें।
• वो सिविल, संवैधानिक, कंपनी, मध्यस्थता और वाणिज्यिक मामलों में 17 साल तक कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय में अभ्यास कर चुके हैं ।
