Israel President on 6 Days tour of India
Israeli president Reuven Rivlin arrived Delh on a six-day visit on Monday.
● Mr. Rivlin landed in Mumbai and then left for Delhi with a delegation of leading agriculture, defence and university figures of Israel.
● He is scheduled to receive a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday and will hold bilateral talks with President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
● Mr. Rivlin is likely to focus on agriculture cooperation between the two sides during the visit.
● He is accompanied by Michael Mirilashvili, chairman of Water Gen, one of the most important futuristic companies of Israel that specialises in optimal use of water resource.
● Mr. Rivlin is expected to visit Chandigarh and Karnal as part of his plan to highlight agri-cooperation.
● In Chandigarh, he will inaugurate ‘Agro Tech 2016' along with President Mukherjee and in Karnal he will visit the Centre of Excellence of Indo-Israeli Agricultural Project.
● This is a special visit to celebrate our 25 years of diplomatic relations between two countries.
भारत दौरे पर आए इजराइली राष्ट्रपति रियूवेन रिवलिन ने कहा कि आतंक, आतंक ही होता है। हर एक देश को अपने अंदाज में इसकी आलोचना करने का अधिकार है।
● वैश्विक शांति स्थापित करने के लिए दुनिया को एक साथ एक मंच पर आने की जरूरत है। इजराइल के राष्ट्रपति रियूवेन रिवलिन 6 दिन की भारत यात्रा पर आज दिल्ली पहुंचे।
● करीब 20 साल में इजराइल के किसी राष्ट्रपति की पहली भारत यात्रा है। अपनी यात्रा के दौरान रियूवेन रिवलिन राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी से मुलाकात करेंगे।
● इसके साथ ही वो प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज से भी मुलाकात करेंगे। भारत दौरे पर निकलने से पहले इजराइल के राष्ट्रपति रिवलिन ने कहा कि वो एक महत्वपूर्ण दौरे पर भारत जा रहे हैं।
● भारत और इजरायल के रिश्ते बहुत मजबूत हैं और इस दौरे से दोनों देशों के रिश्तों में और भी मजबूती आएगी।
● ये दौरा दो देशों के मजबूत रिश्ते और दोस्ती का प्रतीक है और उन्हें आशा है कि इस दौरे के बाद ये दोस्ती और भी घनिष्ठ हो जाएगी।
● यह यात्रा रक्षा से खाद्य सुरक्षा तक विविध क्षेत्रों में द्विपक्षीय सहयोग को बढ़ाएगी। राष्ट्रपति रिवलिन के साथ उनकी पत्नी नेचामा रिवलिन भी इस राजकीय यात्रा पर होंगी।
● इसके अलावा अधिकारियों, शिक्षाविदों और कारोबारी नेताओं का एक उच्चस्तरीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल होगा।
