IRCTC's Maharajas' Express Gets Seven Star Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Award
Adding to its string of impressive awards, The Maharajas' Express, the world's most luxurious train owned and operated by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), received the 2016 Seven Star Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards at Marbella in Spain.
● The award for the highly decorated train was received by IRCTC Chairman and Managing Director Dr A K Manocha in the 'Seven Star Experience Sector'.
● As part of the award, Maharajas' Express was presented the "Signum Virtutis", the seal of Excellence.
● The 23-coach Maharajas' Express currently runs on five routes with choices of 7 Nights/8 Days and 3 Nights/4 Days itineraries.
● The itineraries cover destinations like Agra, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Balasinor, Ajanta, Gwalior, Khajuraho, Varanasi and Lucknow.
● The train, which began its inaugural journey in 2010, is a winner of the coveted Leading Luxury Train of the World Award for four years on the trot.
● It is also a notch higher in several aspects--the menus, the cabin experience, the excursions and the events organised for guests.
दुनिया में सबसे आलीशान ट्रेनों में से एक आईआरसीटीसी के स्वामित्व वाली और संचालित 'महाराजा एक्सप्रेस' ने अपने पुरस्कारों और उपाधियों की श्रृंखला में एक और पुरस्कार हासिल करते हुए नया कीर्तिमान स्थापित किया है। 'महाराजा एक्सप्रेस' को स्पेन में मारबेला में 2016 के सात सितारा लक्जरी हॉस्पिटैलिटी और लाइफस्टाइल पुरस्कार दिया गया ।
● आईआरसीटीसी के अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक डॉ ए कश्मीर मनोचा ने इस पुरस्कार का स्वागत किया।
● पुरस्कार के हिस्से के रूप में, महाराजा एक्सप्रेस को "सिगनम वरटूटिस" उत्कृष्टता की मुहर पेश कि जाएगी ।
23 डिब्बों वाली महाराजा एक्सप्रेस वर्तमान में 7 रातों / 8 दिन और 3 रातों / 4 दिन के विकल्पों के साथ पांच मार्गों पर चलता है।
● शाही वैभव में डूबी, इस ट्रेन को रेल यात्रा के लक्जरी अनुभव को फिर से परिभाषित करने के उद्देश्य के साथ मार्च 2010 में शुरू किया गया था।
● ये आगरा, जयपुर, रणथंभौर, बीकानेर, जोधपुर, उदयपुर, अजंता, ग्वालियर, खजुराहो, वाराणसी और लखनऊ को कवर किया।
● इस आलीशान ट्रेन में लाइव टेलीविजन, कमरे से संबद्ध बाथरूम, डाइनिंग कार, बार, लाउंज, यादगार वस्तुओं की दुकान, विशाल बैठक और पानी को फिल्टर करने के संयंत्र जैसी अत्याधुनिक सुविधाएं मौजूद हैं। इसमें दो डाइनिंग कार और एक समर्पित बार कार के साथ राजा क्लब नामक एक लाउंज भी है।
