India will host the next BRICS Summit in 2016. This was announced in the 7th BRICS Summit held in Russian city of Ufa .The eighth BRICS Summit will be organised in New Delhi in 2016 - four years after India organised the fourth summit in 2012. India would become BRICS chairperson from February 2016
