India secures the twelfth South Asian Games 2016 title
Participated countries – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Mascot – Tikhor (Baby Rhino): Tikhor conveys the message of Peace, Progress, and Prosperity in the South Asian locale.
Motto – "Play for Peace, Progress and Prosperity".
Anthem – An acclaimed Assamese tune, "Ei Prithibi Ek Krirangan" (The world is a play area) by Bhupen Hazarika.
