India China to hold joint military exercise in Pune
'Hand in Hand 2016', a joint military exercise between India and China will be held in Pune from November 15-27.
● This will be the sixth such joint training exercise between the Indian Army and the People's Liberation Army of China.
● It is held annually, alternately, in India and China.
● The first exercise was held in China at Kunming, Yunnan province in the year 2007.
● The aim of the joint training is to share expertise in drills and practices while tackling insurgency and terrorism.
● It helps in promoting healthy military relations between the two armies.
● The exercise is planned in three phases at the company level with the respective battalion headquarters controlling the training.
● The exercise will be supervised by a joint directing panel comprising senior officials of both the nations.
● The exercise will be attended by the senior military observers of both the countries.
भारत-चीन संयुक्त सैन्य प्रशिक्षण अभ्यास ‘हैंड इन हैंड 2016’ मंगलवार से 27 नवंबर तक किया जाएगा।
● रक्षा विभाग की ओर से यहां जारी एक विज्ञप्ति के मुताबिक, यह भारत और चीन के बीच संयुक्त अभ्यास की सीरीज का हिस्सा है।
● इसमें कहा गया, ‘यह भारतीय सेना द्वारा चीन की पीपुल्स लिबरेशन आर्मी के साथ छठा संयुक्त प्रशिक्षण अभ्यास होगा।
● यह हर साल भारत और चीन में बारी-बारी से आयोजित किया जाता है।’
● संयुक्त प्रशिक्षण के उद्देश्य अभ्यास उग्रवाद और आतंकवाद से निपटने है।
● यह दो सेनाओं के बीच स्वस्थ सैन्य संबंधों को बढ़ावा देने में मदद करता है।
● संयुक्त प्रशिक्षण को नियंत्रित करने के लिए संबंधित बटालियन मुख्यालय के साथ कंपनी के स्तर पर तीन चरणों में की योजना बनाई गयी है।
● अभ्यास दोनों देशों के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की एक संयुक्त निर्देशन पैनल द्वारा निरीक्षण किया जाएगा।
● अभ्यास में दोनों देशों के वरिष्ठ सैन्य पर्यवेक्षकों ने भाग लिया ।
