India and Germany have signed an agreement on vocational training
India and Germany on 22 August 2016 signed an agreement to foster conditions that will help create and improve workplace-based vocational training in India's industrial clusters.
The agreement was signed between the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and German International Cooperation (GIZ).
• Under the pact, German technical assistance will be used to enhance industry institute partnerships between Indian and German organizations.
• It will help build capacity of local training institutions and foster industry linkages which will help adapt elements of the German dual system into the Indian context.
• It will initiate a new project focused on adapting elements of the German dual system in select industrial clusters in India.
• The project will run for three years starting August 2016 with a budget of 22.6 crore rupees made available by the German Government.
• It will be implemented in three selected clusters, which include the Automobile cluster in Maharashtra and Electronics cluster in Bangalore.
भारत और जर्मनी ने 22 अगस्त 2016 को व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण समझौता किए जिससे भारत के औद्योगिक संकुलों में कार्यस्थल आधारित व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण के सुधार में मदद मिलेगी |
कौशल विकास एवं उद्यमिता (एमएसडीई) मंत्रालय तथा जर्मन इंटरनेशनल कॉरपोरेशन (जीआईजेड) ने इस समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए |
• संधि के अनुसार, जर्मनी के तकनिकी सहायता के योगदान से भारत एवं जर्मनी के बीच, उद्दोग संस्थान भागीदारी में वृद्धि होगी |
• इस संधि के द्वारा स्थानीय प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों की क्षमता वृद्धि होगी एवं उद्दोग संबंध प्रोत्साहित होगी, जिससे भारतीय उद्दोग को जर्मनी के दोहरी प्रणाली के भिन्न तत्वों के साथ सामंजस्य स्थापित करने में सहयोगिता मिलेगी |
• संधि के अंतर्गत एक नयी परियोजना आरम्भ होगी जो भारत के चुनिंदे औद्दोगीक समूहों को जर्मनी के दोहरी प्रणाली से अनुकूलित करने पर ध्यान देगी |
• परियोजना तीन साल तक चलेगी जिसमे जर्मन सरकार द्वारा 22.6 करोड़ रुपये का बजट उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा ।
• यह तीन चयनित समूहों में लागू किया जाएगा जिसमे बैंगलोर और महाराष्ट्र के इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स व ऑटोमोबाइल क्लस्टर भी शामिल है |
