NATIONAL:
Unemployed Graduates To Get Up To Rs 3,500 in Rajasthan
• Unemployed youth who completed their graduation or equivalent degree will be given unemployment allowance by the Rajasthan government.
Male applicants will get Rs 3,000/month
• While the women and differently-abled will get Rs 3,500/month under Chief Minister Yuva Sambal Yojana.
• The applicants must be natives of Rajasthan.
Maharashtra topped the USGBC list of Top 10 States for LEED in India
• The Second Edition of the United States Green Building Council's (USGBC) list of India's top 10 states are released.The states which have maximum number of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified green buildings are listed below.
• Maharashtra bagged the top slot with 334 LEED-certified green buildings
It is followed by Karnataka and Tamil Nadu with the rankings 232 and 157 buildings respectively.
• LEED is a widely used green building rating system in order to rank states in terms of cumulative Gross Square Feet (GSF) of certified space.
• They were ranked on December 31, 2018.
• At the first Edition of the list Tamil Nadu ranked first with 118 buildings.
INTERNATIONAL:
India extended $15 million grant to Niger to organize the AU summit
• India extended USD 15 million assistance to Nigeria for organizing the African Union (AU) summit scheduled to be held in Niamey.This summit is scheduled to be held in Niamey from July 7-8.It is the first time that Niger is scheduled to host an AU summit.
• The assistance in the form of the grant was symbolically handed over to Niger's Deputy Foreign Minister Lamido Ousseini Bala Goga Salamatou by Ambassador of India to Niger Rajesh Agarwal held on June 17 in Niamey.
This summit is expected to launch the historic African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Indian engineer wins Innovation for Sustainable Development Award
• Indian engineer Nitesh Kumar Jangir whose low-cost neonatal breathing device saved the lives of new-born babies across small towns.India won the 2019 Commonwealth Secretary-General's Innovation for Sustainable Development Award in London.
• Nitesh Kumar Jangir created Saans as a breathing support device to avoid deaths of premature babies from respiratory distress syndrome due to a lack of immediate access to complex medical equipment.
• He received his award in the People category alongside 14 other innovators from across the 53 member-countries of the Commonwealth.
• The main aim is to ensure that babies don't lose their lives due to the lack of access to a piece of technology.This device can be used anywhere to deliver crucial support to premature babies.

World Refugee Day is observed on 20 June
• World Refugee Day is observed on June 20 each year. The day is dedicated to raising awareness of the situation of refugees throughout the world. The theme for 2019 World Refugee day is #StepWithRefugees — Take A Step on World Refugee Day.
• The theme expects communities, schools, businesses, faith groups and people from all walks of life should take big and small steps in solidarity with refugees.
• Refugee is a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster.

Rashid Khan becomes most expensive bowler in World Cup history
• Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan is the most expensive bowler in World Cup history.He is the world’s No.3 ODI bowler.He played Sunrisers Hyderabad in Indian Premier LeagueThe record earlier belonged to New Zealand’s Martin Snedden 105 runs for two wickets against England in the 1983 World Cup.
• Rashid had taken one for 52 against Australia and two for 17 against Sri Lanka. He gave 45 runs against South Africa team.He is the second most expensive in ODI history. Pakistan’s left-arm Wahab Riaz took 110 runs in 10 overs against England in August 2016.He is a world class bowler & a delight to watch.
राष्ट्रीय:
राजस्थान में बेरोजगार स्नातक को मिलेगा 3,500 रु
• स्नातक पास बेरोजगार युवाओं को राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री युवा संबल योजना के तहत 3,500 रुपये तक बेरोजगारी भत्ता मिलेगा।
• इसमें पुरुष आवेदकों के लिए 3000 प्रति माह और महिलाओं के लिए ₹ 3500 प्रति माह और अलग-अलग तरह के आवेदकों को प्रदान किया गया।
• उन्हें इस वर्ष फरवरी से मुख्यमंत्री युवा संबल योजना का लाभ मिलेगा।
• राज्य सरकार ने पहले अक्षत योजना को फिर से लागू करने के बाद इस साल फरवरी से योजना को लागू किया है।
भारत में LEED के लिए शीर्ष 10 राज्यों की यूएसजीबीसी सूची में महाराष्ट्र सबसे ऊपर
• संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका के ग्रीन बिल्डिंग काउंसिल (यूएसजीबीसी) के दूसरे संस्करण में भारत के शीर्ष 10 राज्यों की सूची में जिनके पास ऊर्जा और पर्यावरण डिजाइन (LEED) प्रमाणित ग्रीन बिल्डिंग में लीडरशिप की अधिकतम संख्या है, महाराष्ट्र ने 334 LEED- प्रमाणित ग्रीन के साथ शीर्ष स्थान हासिल किया।
• इसके बाद कर्नाटक और तमिलनाडु क्रमशः 232 और 157 भवनों के साथ थे।

भारत ने एयू शिखर सम्मेलन के आयोजन के लिए नाइजर को 15 मिलियन डॉलर का अनुदान दिया:
• भारत ने नाइजर के नाइमेई में 7-8 जुलाई, 2019 से निर्धारित अफ्रीकी संघ (एयू) शिखर सम्मेलन के आयोजन के लिए नाइजर को 15 मिलियन डॉलर का अनुदान दिया। इसे श्रीमती लामिडो ओउसेनी बाला गोगा सलामातौ, उप-विदेश मंत्री, नाइजर को श्री मोहम्मद सईदिल मोक्टार, मंत्री और नाइजर गणराज्य के राष्ट्रपति के विशेष सलाहकार की उपस्थिति में नाइमी में 17 जून 2019 को आयोजित एक समारोह में नाइजर में भारत के राजदूत श्री राजेश अग्रवाल द्वारा सौंप दिया गया था।
प्रमुख बिंदु:
• नाइजर पहली बार एयू शिखर सम्मेलन की मेजबानी कर रहा है और इससे ऐतिहासिक अफ्रीकी महाद्वीपीय मुक्त व्यापार क्षेत्र (एएफसीएफटीए) की लॉन्च करने की उम्मीद है।
• नाइमी में, भारत महात्मा गांधी की 150 वीं जयंती (2 अक्टूबर, 2019) को चिह्नित करने के लिए अनुदान सहायता के तहत महात्मा गांधी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कन्वेंशन सेंटर (एमजीआईसीसी) की स्थापना कर रहा है।
• 2009 के बाद से, दोनों देशों के बीच द्विपक्षीय संबंध का नाइमी में भारतीय निवासी राजनयिक मिशन के उद्घाटन के बाद विस्तार हुआ है। भारत ने नाइजर को परिवहन, विद्युतीकरण, सौर ऊर्जा और पीने योग्य पेयजल की परियोजनाओं के लिए 96.54 मिलियन डॉलर मूल्य की लाइन्स ऑफ़ क्रेडिट (एलओंसी) प्रदान की हैं।

• नितेश कुमार जंगीर, एक भारतीय इंजीनियर ने लंदन में "पीपुल" श्रेणी में 2019 राष्ट्रमंडल महासचिव का सतत विकास के लिए नवाचार पुरस्कार जीता है.
• नितेश कुमार जंगीर ने श्वसन पीड़ा सिंड्रोम से समय से पहले पैदा हुआ शिशु मौतों से निपटने के लिए श्वसन समर्थन प्रणाली सांस का निर्माण किया.

• विश्व शरणार्थी दिवस हर साल 20 जून को लाखों शरणार्थियों की ताकत, साहस और दृढ़ता मनाने के लिए आयोजित मनाया जाता है. विश्व शरणार्थी दिवस 2018 का विषय है: ‘Now More Than Ever, We Need to Stand with Refugees’.
• इस साल, विश्व शरणार्थी दिवस जनता के लिए पलायन करने वाले परिवारों के समर्थन को चिन्हित करने के लिए मनाया जा रहा है.
• 4 दिसंबर, 2000 को संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा विश्व शरणार्थी दिवस की स्थापना की गई थी.

• अफगानिस्तान के लेग स्पिनर राशिद खान के लिए मंगलवार का दिन अच्छा नहीं रहा। वह वर्ल्ड कप मैच में सबसे ज्यादा रन देने वाले गेंदबाज बन गए। राशिद ने इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ ओल्ड ट्रैफर्ड में खेले गए मुकाबले में 9 ओवर में 110 रन दिए। इस स्पिनर को इस मैच में एक भी विकेट नहीं मिला।
• इससे पहले किसी वर्ल्ड कप मैच में सबसे ज्यादा रन देने का रेकॉर्ड न्यू जी लैंड के मार्टिन स्नेडन के नाम था जिन्होंने 1983 के विश्व कप में 12 ओवर में दो विकेट लेकर 105 रन दिए थे। उस समय एक पारी में 60 ओवर हुआ करते थे।
• 20 वर्षीय राशिद वनडे क्रिकेट में एक पारी में संयुक्त रूप से दूसरे सबसे महंगे बोलर भी बन गए। पाकिस्तान के बाएं हाथ के तेज गेंदबाज वहाब रियाज ने अगस्त 2016 में इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ 10 ओवरों में 110 रन दिए थे।
