Mahesh Sharma inaugurated the Buddhist festival: a rich festival of Buddhist heritage
Minister of State of Culture (Independent Charge) Dr. Mahesh Sharma, while presenting the message of Lord Buddha's peace and harmony relevant at the present time, said that these messages have thrown different countries in one formula.
● Dr. Sharma was inaugurating the Buddhist Festival: a rich festival of Buddhist heritage in New Delhi on December 08, 2017.

1.35 crore collected for children of Punjab in the US

● SHDF President Gajinder Singh Ahuja said, "SHDF has so far given scholarship to more than five thousand students.

● The central agency has taken this action under the FEMA law on Saturday in the Panama Papers case.
● ED has said that it has seized the mutual funds of Wheat Field Chemtech Private Limited.
● This action has been done under Section 37A of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
● This company is controlled by Amin and his family.
● The names of Amin and his family members came in the Panama Papers case.
● Amin and his family members also came to know about the participation and interest of Britain's Virgin Islands in Panama Papers.
● Amin and his family members bought a 3 BHK apartment in Camden Hill, UK, through his company, Wheatfield Chemtech Private Limited India.
● This apartment was purchased for 1.6 million US dollars (more than Rs 10 crore).

संस्कृति राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) डॉं. महेश शर्मा ने वर्तमान समय में भगवान बुद्ध के शांति और सद्भाव के संदेश को प्रासंगिक बताते हुए कहा कि इन संदेशों ने विभिन्न देशों को एक सूत्र में पिरोया है।
● डॉ. शर्मा आज दिसम्बर 08, 2017 को नई दिल्ली में बौधि पर्व: बौद्ध विरासत के समृद्ध उत्सव का उद्घाटन कर रहे थे।
● उन्होंने कहा कि ढाई सहस्राब्दी पहले दिए गए महात्मा बुद्ध के संदेश आज भी प्रासंगिक है और यह विभिन्न देशों के बीच एक कड़ी के रूप में विद्यमान है।
● उन्होंने कहा कि शांति, समग्रता और प्रेम व स्नेह के नैतिक मूल्य हमारे समाज में विद्यमान है और इन पर महात्मा बुद्ध और बौद्ध धर्म की शिक्षाओं का प्रभाव है।

अमेरिका में पंजाब के बच्चों के लिए जुटाए गए 1.35 करोड़ रुपये
अमेरिका में रहने वाले सिख समुदाय ने करीब 1.35 करोड़ रुपये का चंदा जुटाया है।
● इससे पंजाब के उन जरूरतमंद बच्चों की मदद की जाएगी जो उच्च शिक्षा पाना चाहते हैं।
● सिख ह्यूमैन डेवलपमेंट फाउंडेशन (एसएचडीएफ) ने इस हफ्ते एक कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से यह चंदा इकट्ठा किया है।
● इस कार्यक्रम में बॉलीवुड अभिनेता और पंजाबी कॉमेडियन गुरप्रीत घुग्गी ने भी शिरकत की।
● एसएचडीएफ के अध्यक्ष गजिंदर सिंह आहूजा ने बताया, 'एसएचडीएफ अब तक पांच हजार से अधिक छात्रों को स्कॉलरशिप दे चुका है।
● इनमें से 2700 से ज्यादा छात्र ग्रेजुएट हो चुके हैं।
● ये डॉक्टर, इंजीनियर, वैज्ञानिक बनने के साथ ही दूसरे क्षेत्र में भी रोजगार पा चुके हैं।
● कुछ दूसरे जरूरतमंदों की मदद भी कर रहे हैं।' उन्होंने बताया कि उनका संगठन पंजाब और आसपास के इलाके के होनहार गरीब छात्रों की मदद करता है।
● वाशिंगटन स्थित एसएचडीएफ छात्रों को 2001 से स्कॉलरशिप दे रहा है।
● यह अब तक करीब 13 करोड़ रुपये की छात्रवृत्ति दे चुका है।
आधार-पैन लिंकिंग की नई डेडलाइन 31 मार्च 2018
तमाम कयासों से बीच अब यह साफ हो चुका है कि आधार-पैन लिंकिंग की नई डेडलाइन 31 मार्च 2018 होगी।
● खुद वित्त मंत्रालय ने इसकी पुष्टी की है। अभी तक यह माना जा रहा था कि आधार-पैन लिंकिंग की डेडलाइन को बढ़ाया जा सकता है।
● इससे पहले आधार-पैन लिंकिंग की आखिरी डेडलाइन 31 दिसंबर 2017 निर्धारित की गई थी।
● वित्त मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि यह बात जानकारी में सामने आई है कुछ करदाताओं ने अभी तक अपने पैन नंबर को आधार नंबर से लिंक नहीं कराया है।
● इसलिए, लिंकिंग प्रक्रिया को सुविधाजनक बनाने के लिए अब यह फैसला किया गया है कि इसकी डेडलाइन में इजाफा किया जाएगा और आधार एवं पैन की लिंकिंग के लिए नई डेडलाइन 31 दिसंबर 2018 होगी।
● यह स्पष्ट करते हुए कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने तमाम सेवाओं के लिए आधार लिंकिंग की तय सीमा के भीतर अनिवार्यता पर रोक नहीं लगाई है, भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआइडीएआइ) ने आधार होल्डर्स से कहा है कि उन्हें इस प्रक्रिया को तय समय से पूरा कर लेना चाहिए ताकि बाद में उन्हें किसी तरह की कोई सेवा लेने के दौरान असुविधा न हो।
● यूआइडीएआइ की ओर से जारी बयान में कहा गया, “आधार अधिनियम अमल में है, आधार के संबंध में जो भी नोटिफिकेशंस आ रहे हैं जिसमें बैंक खातों के सत्यापन, पैन कार्ड और सिम कार्ड के साथ आधार को लिंक करवाने के लिए कहा जा रहा है वो पूरी तरह से वाजिब एवं वैध है।
अमेरिका ने अपने नागरिकों को पाकिस्तान की गैर-जरुरी यात्रा पर लगाई रोक
अमेरिका ने अपने नागरिकों को पाकिस्तान की गैर-जरुरी यात्रा करने पर फिलहाल रोक लगाने की सलाह दी है।
● लगातार हो रहे हिंसक आतंकी घटनाओं को देखते हुए अमेरिका ने अपने नागरिकों को ये सलाह दी है।
● अपने नागरिकों पर इस तरह के चेतावनी अमेरिका ने पहले भी जारी की है।
● सात महीने पहले अमेरिका ने अपने नागरिकों को दक्षिण एशियाई देशों की यात्रा पर रोक लगा दी थी।
● हाल ही में पाकिस्तान में हुए कई आतंकी घटनाओं को देखते हुए यूएस स्टेट डिपार्टमेंट ने कहा कि देश में ऐसी घटनाएं आम हो गई हैं।
● बयान में कहा गया कि इस कारण पूरे पाकिस्तान में अमेरिकी नागरिकों के लिए खतरा पैदा हो सकता है।
● इससे पूर्व भी आतंकियों ने राजनयिकों को अपना निशाना बनाया है और हाल की घटनाएं इस बात का सबूत है कि आगे भी अमेरिकियों पर हमले जारी रहेंगे।
आईएसआईएस से आजाद हुआ इराक, पीएम ने की जंग खत्म होने की घोषणा
इराक के प्रधानमंत्री हैदर अल अबादी ने आतंकी संगठन आइएस के खिलाफ युद्ध खत्म होने की घोषणा की है।
● सीरिया की सीमा से सटे रेगिस्तानी इलाके से आइएस आतंकियों के सफाये के बाद इराक के प्रधानमंत्री ने यह घोषणा की है।
● इराक में आइएस के खिलाफ जंग में अमेरिकी सेना और कुर्द लड़ाकों का भी अहम योगदान रहा है।
● इराक ही नहीं सीरिया में भी आइएस लगभग खात्मे के करीब है।
● जल्द ही सीरिया भी आइएस मुक्त हो जाएगा।
● इराकी सेना ने पश्चिमी रेगिस्तान में आतंकी संगठन इस्लामिक स्टेट (आइएस) के बचे हुए आतंकियों के खिलाफ बड़ा अभियान शुरू किया था।
● इराक में यह आइएस का अंतिम शरणस्थल था।
● सीरिया सीमा के नजदीक टिगरिस और यूफरेटिस नदियों के बीच इस बंजर इलाके में आबादी बहुत कम है।
● इससे पहले इराकी सेना और अर्धसैनिक बलों ने आइएस को घाटियों और शहरी इलाकों से खदेड़ा था।
● इराक आइएस के खिलाफ जीत की घोषणा पहले ही कर चुका है लेकिन इराकी प्रधानमंत्री हैदर अल-अबादी ने कहा था कि जब तक रेगिस्तानी इलाके से आइएस का सफाया नहीं होता तब तक ऐसा नहीं कहा जा सकता।
ब्रेक्जिट को लेकर ब्रिटेन व ईयू में ऐतिहासिक समझौता
ब्रिटेन और यूरोपीय संघ (ईयू) के बीच शुक्रवार को ब्रेक्जिट से अलग होने के नियमों को लेकर ऐतिहासिक समझौता हुआ।
● इसके बाद यूरोपीय संघ ने घोषणा की कि ब्रिटेन के बनाए अपने डिवोर्स बिल, आयरिश सीमा और नागरिकों के अधिकार सहित ब्रेक्जिट से जुड़े मुद्दों पर 'पर्याप्त प्रगति' हुई है।
● हालांकि ईयू के अध्यक्ष डोनाल्ड टस्क ने चेताया कि सबसे कठिन काम अभी बाकी हैं।
● टस्क ने नेताओं से कारोबार और पारगमन वार्ता शुरू करने के लिए अगले सप्ताह एक शिखर सम्मेलन करने की सिफारिश की है।
● इससे पहले यूरोपीय संघ के अध्यक्ष जीन-क्लाउड जंकर के साथ बातचीत के लिए प्रधानमंत्री टेरीजा मे सुबह-सुबह ही ब्रसेल्स पहुंच गईं, ताकि इस ऐतिहासिक कदम को सफल बनाया जा सके।
● बाद में जंकर के साथ प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में टेरीजा ने कहा, समझौते का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा यह सुनिश्चित करना था कि 29 मार्च, 2019 को यूरोपीय संघ से ब्रिटेन के हटने के बाद ब्रिटिश-शासित उत्तरी आयरलैंड और ईयू के सदस्य आयरलैंड की सीमाओं के बीच फिर कोई चौकी (चेकप्वाइंट) नहीं बनाई जाएगी।
● डिवोर्स बिल में ब्रिटेन ने ईयू से अलग होने के बदले करीब 40 (करीब 3,033 अरब रुपये) से 45 अरब यूरो (करीब 3413 अरब रुपये) देने की बात कही है।
श्रीलंका ने चीन को 99 साल के लिए सौंपा हंबनटोटा बंदरगाह
श्रीलंका ने शनिवार को रणनीतिक रूप से महत्वपूर्ण हंबनटोटा बंदरगाह औपचारिक रूप से चीन को सौंप दिया।
● एक समझौते के तहत 99 साल के लिए बंदरगाह का नियंत्रण चीनी कंपनियों को दिया गया है।
● दो चीनी कंपनियां, हंबनटोटा इंटरनेशनल पोर्ट ग्रुप और हंबनटोटा इंटरनेशनल पोर्ट सर्विसेज अब इस बंदरगाह का कामकाज संभालेंगी।
● विपक्ष ने विरोध स्वरूप इस परियोजना के जरिये देश को बेचने का आरोप लगाया है।
● दोनों देशों के इस समझौते से भारत की सुरक्षा चिंता बढ़ी है।
● प्रधानमंत्री रानिल विक्रमसिंघे ने अप्रैल महीने में अपनी चीन यात्रा में पूर्व राष्ट्रपति महिंदा राजपक्षे की सरकार के दौरान की इस परियोजना को जारी रखने का निर्णय लिया था।
● इस बंदरगाह को विकसित करने और कुछ अन्य परियोजनाओं के लिए चीन ने श्रीलंका को आठ अरब डॉलर (51 हजार करोड़ रुपये) का कर्ज दिया हुआ है।
● विक्रमसिंघे ने कहा है कि हिंद महासागर में व्यापार की दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण इस बंदरगाह से होने वाली आय से चीन का कर्ज वापस किया जाएगा।
पनामा पेपर्स मामले में पूर्व आइपीएल चेयरमैन की संपत्ति जब्त
प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने कारोबारी और आइपीएल के पूर्व चेयरमैन चिरायु अमीन नियंत्रित कंपनी के 10.35 करोड़ रुपये के म्यूचुअल फंड जब्त कर लिए हैं।
● केंद्रीय एजेंसी ने पनामा पेपर्स मामले में शनिवार को फेमा कानून के तहत यह कार्रवाई की है।
● ईडी ने कहा है कि उसने व्हीट फील्ड केमटेक प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के म्यूचुअल फंड जब्त किए हैं।
● यह कार्रवाई विदेशी मुद्रा प्रबंधन अधिनियम (फेमा) की धारा 37ए के तहत की गई है।
● यह कंपनी अमीन और उसके परिवार द्वारा नियंत्रित है।
● पनामा पेपर्स मामले में अमीन और उसके परिवार के सदस्यों के नाम आए थे।
● ब्रिटेन के वर्जिन द्वीप पर भागीदारी और हित को लेकर पनामा पेपर्स में अमीन और उसके परिवार के सदस्यों के नाम भी आए थे।
● अमीन और उसके परिवार के सदस्यों ने अपनी कंपनी व्हीटफील्ड केमटेक प्राइवेट लिमिटेड इंडिया के माध्यम से ब्रिटेन के कैंपडेन हिल में एक 3बीएचके अपार्टमेंट खरीदा था।
● यह अपार्टमेंट 1.6 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर (10 करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा) में खरीदा गया था।
