Dr. Jitendra Singh presided over the fourth meeting of Joint Hindi Advisory Committee of Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space.
●        In connection with the expansion of the official language of Hindi language, the fourth meeting of the joint Hindi Advisory Committee was held under the chairmanship of minister of Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space was discussed by the Central Northeast Region Development (Independent Charge), Prime Minister's Office, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pension, Atomic Energy and Minister of State for Space. Jitendra Singh.
●        In this meeting Dr. Shekhar Basu, Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy, Dr. K. Shivan, Secretary, Department of Space, Lok Sabha MP Mr. Janardan Mishra and Mr. Ajay Mishra Tannie, Non-Official Members of the Committee and High officials of the Department also attended.

●        Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs (Independent Charge) Mr. Hardeep Puri will inaugurate the first major conference of Smart Cities CEO in Bhopal on May 08, 2018.
●        The Smart Cities Mission (SCM), launched on June 25, 2015, is the most transformative mission in urban campaigns.
 
First meeting to make stakeholders aware about development of Delhi as a accessible model
●        The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Power, has been entrusted with responsibility for the protection of the rights of such persons and for the construction of such properties for them in the country, where they can be easily accessible.
●        Presiding over the first meeting of stakeholders held here today to develop Delhi as an ideal and accessible model in the same order, the Secretary of the Department, Smt. Shakuntala D. Gamlin said that her department has made alliances with all the stakeholders This initiative has been made so that everyone can be made aware about this.
 
Ministry of Tribal Affairs will expand forest-wealth development centers in tribal districts of the country
●        After launching the Van-Dhan Vikas Kendra in Bijapur on 14th April, 2018 by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and forest wealth and Govardhan schemes, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs of the Government of India has decided to expand forest wealth development centers in the tribal districts of the country.
●        A meeting was held recently under the chairmanship of Secretary Ms. Lina Nair in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for fixing the modalities of this arrangement.
 

100 Additional One Stop Center (OSC) Approved
●        In the meeting of the program approval board (PAB) of the Ministry of Women and Child Development held today, 100 additional One Stop Centers (OSCs) were approved.
●        These centers will be established in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.
●        The Ministry of Women and Child Development has constructed 182 One Stop Centers (OSC) till April 2015.
●        These centers provide various types of assistance to women suffering from violence.


Former chief ministers of UP must vacate government bungalow: Supreme Court
 
●        On May 07, 2018, a Supreme Court verdict relating to the residences of former Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh was passed by the Supreme Court.
●        According to the order of the Supreme Court, all former chief ministers will have to vacate their own government accommodation.


Adult couples have the right to live together without marriage: Supreme Court
●        The Supreme Court has said on 06 May 2018 that adult couples have the right to be together without marriage too.
●        The Supreme Court has said that the legislation has also given recognition to the liv-in relationship, and these relations have been recognized under the provisions of the Women's Home Violence Prevention Act, 2005.
●        The Supreme Court told Thushara of 20 years that she wants to live with whom she is from her husband or family, herself can decide for herself.
 

33 people leave Uttarakhand every day: migrant commission report
●        The Uttarakhand government has recently released a report in the context of people fleeing the villages from Uttarakhand's villages.
●        According to this official report, on an average, 33 people are going from villages to cities every day for the last ten years.
 

Agreement for Crop Production Prediction between the Policy Commission and IBM
 
●        The Policy Commission has signed a project to develop crop yield forecasting model using the Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide real time advice to the farmers in the ambitious districts.
●        Its purpose is to work together to increase crop production and soil productivity, to regulate agricultural inputs and to increase the income of farmers as a whole, so that technology can be used to give information to the farmers in advance.

●        India signed a $ 200 million loan letter with the World Bank for National Nutrition Campaign.
●        This amount will help in achieving the goals of the Indian Government (minimizing 38.4 percent by 2022 to 25 percent) to reduce dwarfism in the age group of 0-6 years.
●        The Prime Minister had launched a nutrition campaign in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan on March 8, 2018.

India will be at the top in the fastest growing economies: Harvard studies
●        India will be on top of the world's fastest-growing economies in the coming decade.
●        Meanwhile, India's economic growth rate is estimated at 7.9 percent annually.
●        This growth rate of India will be higher than China and America.
●        China's growth rate is estimated to be 4.9 in year 2026 and France's growth rate of 3.5% and US 3%.

 
Paytm will invest 5,000 crore in financial services business

 
●        By the end of this year, Paytm has targeted the quarterly transaction from 100 crores to 200 crores.
●        By making KYC mandatory for mobile wallet companies, there was a reduction in the patmi transactions, but now the business has become normal.
●        The company will invest Rs 5,000 crore in its core business this year.
●        Now there are 1 billion transactions in the three months through Paytm, which has been targeted to increase to 2 billion by the end of this year.

●        In a recent announcement issued by NASA from the American Space Agency, NASA said that the storm of strong winds rising from the sun would also have an impact on the Earth.
●        According to scientists, this solar storm will have an impact on the larger part of the Earth.
